I was told my source of funds had been accepted yet I’m still restricted. Up to 21 days to review source of funds documents is nothing short of ridiculous. I had it “escalated” but that’s clearly a lie because I’m still restricted after nearly two weeks. Arline P incredibly rude on live chat. Not acceptable. Hopeless service.Worst customer service of any online gaming site I’ve ever experienced.No customer service available to any member that is unable to log in. I have been unable to log into my account for over 6 months. There is over £500 in credit in my account and absolutely no way of being able to access customer support without being able to log in. Their customer support phone lines have been permanently closed. This suggests to me that 888 are a failing company that are possibly about to go into liquidation.I would advise anyone NOT to deposit any money into this company’s site…. you probably won’t see it again.Within hours of posting gntjis review 888 replied stating that they are gutted to have missed the mark and thanked me for the feedback in order to improve. This company just dont respect clients, treat them arrogantly and in a unfairly way. After few winnings 888bet.com closed my account immediately, without a word saying that “they started investigation into my betting activity”. They couldnt answer to me how long it will take or what is the problem with my betting (apart I won smth). Signed up to 888, inputted all my personal details, name, date of birth, phone number, email address etc. Account was created and I was EMailed telling my that an arbitrary decision had been made not to allow me to claim the bonus promised. When contact refused to give rationale as to why then has taken my personal details and then refused. Refused to state if my details had been handed to 3rd parties for advertising.

I’ve never had the misfortune of dealing with such an incompetent company. Trying to open an account is hard than breaking in to Fort Knox. Utterly useless service you can’t chat to them if your account is “BEING VERIFIED”, you have to email them. Then all you get is generic emails that mean nothing.It also appears that the “VERIFICATIONS TEAM”, properly only one person, only work from about midnight to 5am. If i could give this company no stars i would. An error meant that the didnt pay out best price guaranteed meaning i was paid out at 7/1 when the price was 14/1. Not a problem you would think, and easily rectified? Oh no! 24 hours later and despite hours of live chat still havent recieved my money. Have now been told that someone will contact me in the next few days via email!!!! To say that i am fuming would be an understatement! I created an account February 24 and it was almost instantly blocked after deposit. Last 2 weeks I’m sending documents to verify identity and unblock it and have no results. I received last reply 1 week ago (they were saying that they will contact me within 72 hours) and after this – silence. I lost my $30 worth welcome bonus tickets (they expire in 1 week after deposit, I was replying to support’s letters fast, within 2-3 hours, and they stopped reply at all, so I think it’s not my fault that we didn’t solve a problem in 1 week) and I guess I lost my €40 deposit because I can’t login and withdraw it. Awful experience. Funny thing is that on beginning customer support was replying quick (within few hours-one day, even on Sunday) and operations team too (that’s they who check documents for verification), and now I feel like I’m in some kind of black list and they think “okay that stupid person will write us 1-2 weeks more and after will stop writing cuz has no answer”. I joined this site three days ago. In that time almost all attempts to log-on have been met by the process just hanging (Google Chrome). I tried changing both my username and my password, but neither worked. Rebooting my PC occasionally works.Using MS Edge is ok at the moment, but what a mess.My signup offer – bet £10 get £30 free bets – hasn’t been honoured. I’m now on wait for a chat representative and have been told for the last 40 minutes that my wait time is 1 minute.I also believe their games are fully rigged (similar to other comments here). Before I begin I’ve read through these reviews and it sure seems like it’s coming from an automated reply as all replies coming from 888sport all give the same response which I suppose is to fool people that they are taking on board peoples complaintsMy late wife was a gambler. I never knew about it. Her gambling consisted of loans etc. She overdosed and died and despite being utterly devastated and grief stricken I had to find out what caused this. She had been gambling with this corrupt company 888sport. She had registered an account with a variation in her surname. At the same time she also submitted her passport and a bank statement as verification. So it took 888sport 2 days to verify the account. She was allowed to deposit. They passed the verification . I mean this is mistakes that only someone illerate could make. I later discovered that she has at the minimum 7 previous accounts registered with them. I have no idea how much has been deposited but I would say thousands. Is not checking documents for errors in a new account not what they’re supposed to be doing. I mean what else does the word verify mean. These people are trained to spot signs that someone is addicted but instead all they have done is exploit the situation. She deposited this time almost 1500. They clearly apply rules which suit themselves given any particular situation. They then tried to blame my wife stating that due to a change in details it was done to her. Not them that is expected to adhere to rules and regulations and keep vulnerable people safe from further related gambling harm.I am going to inform their regulator because something needs to be done. They don’t care about the person behind the screen or their poor families and the consequences of not checking documents or just approving them anyway. If you are gambling please think about this story and the devastation it has left behind and what lengths these betting companies will go to. Absolutely heart broken

Possibly the worst company I have ever used . Never try placing a 5 or six horse accumulator because it will be rejected. Eg. I tried placing 15x 50 pence EW doubles and £1 EW accumulator on 6 horses. The possible accumulator win was ten grand .. the doubles were accepted but the accumulator was rejected. Notice came up. The limit on this accumulator is ZERO . When you are looking at the runners for a British horse race ..it suddenly disapears because a foreign race has just started . Ad infinitum . I withdrew money from my account and left £3-50 . And that disapeared to . Nowhere to be found . 888 dont do best price ,so if you bet a horse at say . 8-1 and it wins at 14-1. If I could rate no stars I would. Signed up and deposited my money. They then suspended my account and requested documentation. I’ve sent it several times now but they just ignore my emails and still have my money. It’s only £30 but it’s still my money not theirs! aaaaargh! their support is so frustrating as they don’t seem to read any email you send them carefully. I sent them a query which they failed to answer adequately several times. I asked to escalate and they said I can send it over to Manager. I did and didn’t get reply from manager but from a previous respondent and they failed to answer adequately again. I replied saying I’m very unhappy and annoyed and asked for info on their formal complaint process and the body I go to if I remain dissatisfied as they’ve not escalated my complaint as I previously requested. All they said in their reply was I can send it over to Manager again!!!!!!!

So 2 stars as I have been with 888 for 20 years. Had drinks with these guys in Ocean Village Gibraltar. Then someone corporate got greedy. I put £100 deposit & an hour later withdrew £100. Converted to $dollars for the benefit of them but 9% deducted? Got £91 back? Queried & told transaction fees. They do not buy $dollars on the bank market. They imaginary convert deposits to a $dollar equivalent. You could bet hamsters so why deduct 9%? Then got a scratch card to say I had won $5 free spin. So hey, I bet roulette red for a 50/50 chance of doubling my £money? Oh no. They deduct that bet from your year £cash balance & then you have to bet a a multiple of real money before you can cash out. So if you have £100 or after conversion $108 dollars & lose the $5 win. It is deducted from your real $dollar balance. So after a free bet of $5 your real money goes down. To recover you have to bet 30x times real Monet IF your $5 free bet wins. They have not verified my document still it’s been 5 days now. All the chats say it’s under process. The workload is too much right. Dude it’s just one document. I already provided the my id. So far I’ve found it to be quite a good site. Everything works fine and it’s easy to use. The only problem is that if you’d want to withdraw you need to confirm your identity, okay… Fair enough, I did it and nothing… They’ve stated that it might take from 24h to 72h. After the 72h still nothing and it’s still pending.

I signed up today, unknowingly I triggered a £50 bonus while on the site. No information was given on the bonus and so I used it as I have used bonuses on other sites. Unfortunately I found that rather than playing with the £50 bonus funds the site first used my real money funds, the opposite of many other sites. I therefore lost £50 of my own money without being informed that I was playing with real funds (which every other site does offer warnings for). I believe 888 is a criminal enterprise with the aim of fooling customers and deceiving them to make profit. Avoid at all costs.EDIT: Was asked to contact 888 following this review to which they gave me the same unhelpful copy and pasted response that I’d already received on their Livechat. Had a nice winner at 16/1 on the horses. Then had my account stake restricted to zero so I could no longer bet with them. They also refused to honour a £5 free bet which I was entitled to as a result of my win. When I queried this they said it was because I had withdraw some of my winnings. What else can I do with them if they won’t let me bet.
