Truly awful website. In 30 years of betting online the worst I’ve encountered in terms of how often it crashes. I’ve cleared cache and cookies as advised and no change. Appalling and basically unusable.

BETFAIR IS CROOKED…..I WON €750 TODAY, THEY WOULD NOT PAY, HAD TO SEND IN EVERY UTILITY BILL I HAVE. THEY ARE LAUGHING AT GDPR AND GAMBLING REGULATIONS. HAD TO TALK FOR HOURS WITH BOT, AND THEN LOST THE WINNINGS AS THEY WOULD NOT PAY OUT DUE TO GAMBLE AWARE, BUT I WAS ALLOWED GAMBLE AND DEPOSIT MORE MONEY, JUST NOT WITHDRAW. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. I give a 1 star rating because i there is no option for 0, website has changed and is now very user unfriendly on the desktop, it is very similar to the mobile app which is fine for mobile phones, but not for desktop computers

I asked betfair to close down my account and return my money to my bank. Instead they suspended my account and are withholding my funds illegally. I had only signed up to this company 10 minutes before asking them to delete my account and return my funds.They hide behind Internet chat and don’t take phone calls or complaints any other way. ADVOID THIS SCANDALOUS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.They are thieves and hide behind a wall of silence and rude customer service staff. This company should be wiped out

I’ve got to say credit to Betfair and I highly recommend using them. My basis for this is we all have issues sometimes and I’ve raised one with Betfair and the whole process was explained which it should be. I’ve also had the same with Ladbrokes and Will Hill in the past and their response infuriated me. They didn’t answer my query and blocked my account insulting me with “maybe you have a gambling problem”. They don’t take complaints well whereas Betfair as it says in the name ironically were fair, understanding and very helpful. This is a genuine, honest review.

To be fair it took a while to get an answer to my question, but Nayim sorted it out for me in the end. For a non techy like me it was hard swapping from screen to screen in order to follow the instructions, but we finally got there .

omg the support team on help is so useless full of low iq people, the one named Kuta and the other named Dannish, i have sent them 2 bills pictures of license card as well and they could not do anything, what kind of employees are those useless kind of people who cannot activate an account based on what they asked i provided, why are they working over there ? they getting paid doing nothing.

Betfair have simply sucked the benefits that customers used to have when betting. I bet small on options like Lucky15, and best price guaranteed, and these have all been stripped away. Ante post these days is like a lottery, along with the inclusion of horses that are generally not going to run in a race. I have to check on entries to confirm this. I say generally.Yet, they hold individuals to ransom when it comes to opening an account.I have not bet a lot leading up to the Cheltenham Festival, and I absolutely mean it when I say I am looking forward to handing my hard earned cash to an on course bookie, and getting the excitement from that. The fun does not stop that way.Why oh why are Betfair, and they are not alone, shafting hard working punters. And no, the ‘we offer different incentives’ does not wash with me. Offer me 3 x odds for 1 winner on a lucky 15, and best odds guaranteed on multiples. You must have made enough money by now???

Been with betfair for years and never had a problem.I logged in a few days ago and found £5 had been bet on roulette but I told them it definitely wasn’t me.My account has been suspended now for 3 days and when I try to contact someone I get a message telling me they are very busy.I left a message telling them to keep the £5 and just let me access my account please but it’s still suspended?

used to be 5 stars but the loss of the Best Odds Guaranteed on UK races means will be using other bookies who do offer that facility, something they gave to punters theyve decided to take away, obviously was affecting the huge profit margins already being madeAlso would advise never play slots after 2am in the morning, I suspect the advice online about slot playing is correct, most bookies do their resets at 1-3am at which point its back in collect peoples cash to start refilling for the next day, so are they turning it off at 2am so nothings won before 7-8am in case a biggy happens and no staff to deal with it. Do agree with online advice peak time for payouts with most of these sites is between 6pm and 2am before they do the next reset – Still more dissappointed about the loss of best odds guarantee, dont know if Betfair are aware giving a little back can keep the punters loyal

With Betfair exchange ,you have to make twenty bets in a month to qualify for the promotions,I played my part in this .then come the following month they have stopped giving them out, they have moved the goal posts.You betfair exchange are a law to THEMSELVES.Dont bother with these pirates.

I’m glad I found out with smaller stakes that Betfair can just do as they please regarding winning trades, and then retracting them. I didn’t expect to have so many issues using the exchange. Latest, I’d cashed out in a football game when the team I’d backed scored and went 1-0 up, the cash out was successful and price remained settled. A VAR check was then announced minutes after, goal ruled out, price began to drift back out. But I was happy cos I’d got the cash out in time, all confirmed and successful. A minute later, hey ho, my bet’s still in play and a negative cash out offered, stake taken back out of account.I’m sure there’s loads of small print explaining all this, and how they’re allowed to f*** people over and get away with it, though

After 14 years of using Betfair they randomly closed my account saying I had multiple accounts (I don’t – it was obviously an automation failure in their data architecture which several people have had issues with in the last few months). They have no customer service or complaints procedure, only a live chat filled with people who cannot help you and take 10+ minutes to respond to every question. I supplied them with every document they asked for and still nothing has happened. They’ve stolen my money after being a customer for 14 years!!

I have been a customer for over 18 years. I suddenly found I could not access my account due to self-exclusion. I certainly did NOT self-exclude! Their customer service is non-existent. They have no contact telephone number. no email address. They only supply a ridiculous chat facility. The chat facility means long waits and being passed around from one agent to another. I have money in this account which I can not withdraw. My advice to everyone is to avoid this site.

Betfair suspended my account as they want proof of ID.i have been a customer for 20 years. They have my bank account details, email, phone number, address and I’m in the electoral role. I refused there request as My data with Talktalk and EON was hacked.Also they are based in a foreign country outside UK jurisdiction. After 2 hours of chat I managed to get my balance credit back. But after 20 years no more Betfair.
