Signed up today and got my free bets, however they weren’t working so I contacted customer service to sort this issue out. She did not know herself and kept telling me to do the same thing over and over again. Guess what, they went and suspended my account, with my free bets not even used. O was already fully verified. This company is a joke, I don’t understand how they get away with this. Gambling commission really allowing this to happen. Then again they all share our money and put it in there pockets. When will we all learn that this is unacceptable from betfair and the gambling commission.we all have to do better, we need to change this. Otherwise we will keep being mugged off.

What the hell has happened to you people ? I reported a bet settled incorrectly. Some guy on the chat (the only available option to contact anyone by the way) told me he would look into it and email me with a response. In the meantime they suspended my account. Like it was my fault the bet was settled incorrectly ? Way to go guys.My account is still suspended and no email. I spent over an hour on this chat rubbish 4 days later trying to find out what was happening with my account only to be constantly bombarded with the same security questions. I spoke to 2 agents during this period and not one of them had a single brain cell between them. Not one of them would answer my questions why I have not received an email and why my account is still suspended.How on earth can you run a company like this not allowing customers to speak to a human being to resolve errors that you cause. I was always under the impression Betfair was a safer option as apposed to traditional bookmakers. Sadly, these shameful people are actually worse in my opinion.

After being a customer here for 16 years, a Betfair representative decided that they’ll be suspending me for a year for my safety. I have no gambling issues or emotional problems related to gambling. They labelled this as “self exclusion” which it absolutely is NOT. This ban was forced upon me after I began to trade on their exchange. Lunacy. The industry is dying a slow and bloody death.

Live chat was absolutely useless. I was having problems logging in to the exchange . Not a password issue as I could access sportsbook. I tried 4 different devices and all they could suggest was clear cookies/ cache. Uninstall reinstall app, change password, none of this worked. In 2 hours I got passed to 6 different agents, I was convinced they were just automated. I kept having to explain the same problem to the same agent. They said there was nothing wrong with account and I eventually was passed to customer services which was just a different live chat! The chap just said turn off your device and turn back on again???! Never thought of that! Heavens above. So regrettably as I can’t use the exchange so have joined a competitor.

This company will sign you up, let you deposit money but the minute you start to win they shut your account down and refuse to let you have access to it or your funds until you provide ridiculous amounts of proof to who I am, I have asked to shut my account down and have my original stake back but they won’t do that either, I wonder how much of their profits are made this way, stay well away!!

Hi Triona you have just discovered the most fixed Casino site in all betting history.Betfair merged with Paddy Power in 2016 and are under the Flutter Entertainment Umbrella and Paddy Power operate the Casino and Sportsbook on the Betfair site.Triona Paddy Power are the most corrupt operators of any betting firm around bar none and although I have never had an account with them I have read all the reviews of their Casino games which corresponds with their rigged Paddy Power Casino so its no surprise that since the merger that Betfair which used to be a brilliant firm it is now pretty much under the total control of the fraudulent Paddy Power.Paddy Power hold the majority stake in Betfair 54% to 46% and since the merger they have controlled the Casino and all I can say is it is well known that the Casino is 100% fixed it is not even a close call every game is fixed as it is in the Paddy Power Casino on their website the Cashout is also suspended for long periods and at certain times to stop players cashing out therefore saving Betfair and Paddy Power millions of pounds.Triona my advice is to read all my reviews and other reviews on Betfair and Paddy Power and read the Paddy Power reviews on Trustpilot and steer well clear of both of them if you do want to play find a stand alone Casino that has no connection whatsoever to a betting firm because your more likely to win more often and be treated with the respect you deserve just make sure that you stay away from any Casino linked to a betting firm because they’re all fixed to the hilt I hope that helps.

There’s a game in the Betfair Casino operated by Paddy Power called Bounty Hunter which is the most fixed and manipulated game I have ever seen.I have never played a Casino game where you start off losing and carry on losing its literally every single time I played it the same patterns of play would appear.The game claims to have an RTP of 94.7% which is quite low anyway in my opinion its nearer to 10% that’s how bad it is its just loss after loss £10 in two minutes can easily be lost on 40p spins so steer clear if you value your money its fixed to the hilt and really not worth sacrificing your hard earned money on.

AVOID!!I tried to make a £100 deposit and I accidentally pressed £10000. I tried to cancel it and it said error so I assumed it had been canceled. Approx hour later £10000 missing from my bank account. I contacted them over TEN times and they told me they’d not had a deposit from me and I needed to contact my bank.I contacted my bank and I was arguing with them since betfair placed the blame on them. My bank was adamant that the funds had gone to betfair, they gave me tracing IDs. I gave this tracing ID to betfair, betfair was still denying that they’d received a payment and said even with the ID they couldn’t track it. So off I go, back on the phone arguing with my bank. I contacted betfair again after my bank refused responsibility and lo and behold they managed to track the transaction 3 DAYS AFTER I FIRST CONTACTED THEM ABOUT IT!!!! I asked for a refund and they said and I quote “unfortunately this can only be refunded by our payments team and as it’s Friday, they won’t be back in until Monday then it will be processed” so now I have to wait until MONDAY because of their incompetence in tracking a payment. Currently 5 hours from home can’t get home because they have my money can’t even get a hotel. They don’t give a damn, just say that the payments team will be in on Monday.Absolutely avoid unless you want thousands of pounds of your own money (not even winnings) to go missing.

Trying to Sign up is just an endless series of hoops to jump through. Newly opened account was suspended not long after being opened. After trying for 4 days to get it unsuspended during which time I uploaded pictures of my passport, payment card, and proof of ID (they’ve now had the latter twice…), I was then asked for a selfie of myself holding my passport.I appreciate that in this day and age there have to be security measures online, but this is just overkill. I’ve actually opened bank accounts and applied for mortgages online easier that this…. lolIt’s a shame, as their website actually looks quite user friendly, and one that I’d enjoy spending time on, but at the end of the day this is just overkill and too much hassle for a betting account.I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Absolute disgraceful tactics… like me many ppl like to use paysafe vouchers to control spending amounts so what do betfair go and do they raise the minimum paysafe deposit to £30 when I complained about this they state it’s a business decision and tried every way possible to get me to use my bank card for deposit which I clearly stated I won’t do incase I empty my bank balance they like to broadcast safer gambling tools yet deliberately try to entice you to use card payments. GREEDY COMPANY STAY WELL CLEAR

I have been playing Betfair for 13 years. I have never had a problem with playing or paying out. Compared to other bookmakers that impose limits, Betfair is really ok. Moreover, their helpdesk is very helpful in case of problems.

Absolute vile company. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I signed up and played with a small deposit and returned winnings of over £400. My account was shutdown due to a ‘security breach’. Funny how they take your money and then don’t pay out. They haven’t even returned my deposit and kept it for themselves.

Best of both worlds, Sportsbook and Exchange, plus you can choose your own rewards package and charges, withdrawals paid direct to Bank, they say within an hour or two, but it was literally minutes, great customer service if you have an issue, UK, Ireland, but Malta was the best, Shoshaana very friendly and helpful

As with other reviewers, quick to take your money. However, when you win, you have to provide documents to verify your age. Funny how they don’t request these BEFORE you deposit money. All documents have been uploaded and still no payout. I’m only glad I deposited 15 quid and not 150. They have no intention of paying out. They are also affiliated with Paddy Power, who I had the same problem with. I will be reporting both of them.

Very bad betting site ever seen in my life in 8 november I created an account at Betfair and like every site they ask me for documents to verify my account and I submitted all verification documents after that they sent to me an email asking for selfie holding ID and i contact them in chat section and send to them the selfie an I was waiting for verification process for 4 days. So I decided to contact them again via chat and they told that your account will be closed due to business grounds dicision 😅😅. I never seen a website the close an account permanently without any reason I never had an account in betfair before and I just want to try their betting exchange platform but they are so bad in costumer service and they closed many accounts whitout any reason.

Betfair EXCHANGE is the unique bookmaker who allows you to withdraw how many times you want, almost how much you want and do not jeopardize your account or ask you lots of annoying verification process. I know this should be their obligation, but in online betting´s world, unfortunetely, this is a great advantage.Their support is pretty good as well, fast and straight, and their attendants are nice and polite.Regarding Betfair SPORTSBOOK, is the same BS of any other Bookmaker. Limits you after 2 or 3 winnings, dont want your businnes if you are a winner.

betfair is known for closing accounts with money. I won 55, requested withdrawal on verified account, and they only gave me 5 deposit back. and said they closed my account, but i can still login and it says they need documents. after i provided the documents requested, they said they close my account and stole the winnings. fraud. still worth contacting gambling commision

Dreadful company. Ripped of on a bet. Stake was quite substantial and the bet won. Then the only option available to me a good few minutes after the result was to cash out for 4 euro, my stake alone was over 20 times that. I hit the cash out assuming that this was an error and that Betfair would honour the win, they didn’t. Owed about 200 euro which they said would not be settled. I disabled my account immediately and regret ever setting one up with them. An absolute disgrace of a company, avoid.

I was a Betfair customer for many years. To start with they were brilliant. The exchange odds were often far better than SP and there were lots of offers and concessions. Since Paddy Power took over they have gone downhill fast. The amount of money matched per race fell sharply so liquidity was a problem. They restricted Best Odds Guaranteed to singles then they withdrew it without any warning. If you want to query settlement of a bet it is impossible to get hold of anybody with any knowledge of betting. I have closed my account and would recommend all punters to go elsewhere.

Betfair have had a major data breach that has resulted in customers losing money out of there accounts. They can give no timescales on when this will be resolved. It is concerning that the only account that money should be withdrawn to is the customers own account, yet money has gone missing. Not the first time, see online articles for 2011. It is now 2 weeks and they still will not discuss it with me. I am told that they are working through many tickets, concerning that after 2 weeks they are still addressing the issue. Makes you wonder how many are affected.

Betfair closed my account without giving me a reason. When I contacted customer support to ask about open exchange bets they told me there was nothing and the last bet had already been settled – I knew this was not correct as I had placed a bet for South Africa to win the Rugby World Cup. Requested a statement of account and sure enough my balance showed that I had won that bet! Absolutely outrageous way to treat a customer and then lie about the account.

Sadly Betfair use the online poker skin iPoker. A nine seat table can take more than 20mins to fill which is longer than you will be sat down at the table playing, this is nothing like Poker in the real world, warning it could actually harm your game. Everything on the SitandGo tables is built around speed which run at turbo and hyper turbo speed. Volumes have been written about the RNG and the way the cards come out nothing in a complementary way, I would just say its good at clearing the table of players. Can’t understand how Betfair it’s so poor in quality offer to their own customers…I could see that it’s a general issue with odds moving while u place a bet and for my surprise if the odds goes up u will stay with your previous odd but if goes down they actualise for their benefit…before I used bet365 and they just block the bet when the odd changes and that’s what should be done in Betfair if they were reliable…sad!
