Betfair are part of Flutterentertainment.plc which also are part of paddypower. Allegedly according to paddypower I self excluded myself permanently on two different dates in 2016 first paddypower said I self excluded myself on the 26th of June 2016 then they emailed me apparently I self excluded myself permanently at 04:30 a.m. on the 27th July 2016. The only self exclusion I did wasn’t with them it was through gamstop on the 31st August 2018 for five years ending on the 31st August 2023. William Hills and Ladbrokes both on confirmation from Gamstop contacted me through their safer gambling agents to reopen my accounts however the companies owned by Flutterentertainment.plc will not because they obviously don’t believe what Gamstop have confirmed

Not sure why I bother with Trust Pilot – they posted me as Mickey Mouse .Anyway, as for Betfair, a message appeared saying my account had been closed – but there was over £1700 in it!!Of course they’ve got rid of the idea of letting people phone them. On chat I sent passport and driving licence but no, that wasn’t enough. They demanded endless selfies with the document, not happy with the document, then always saying the document wasn’t clear enough. Well I could read it in the photos!Only after I asked for their legal contact did suddenly all become helpful and they said the account was active. Must have been a software miracle.They declined to comment on the message saying the account had been closed after I was unable to log in.Taking me most of the afternoon.Not that they care – you can always tell if a company doesn’t care when they get rid of their phone line.

If I could give it a 0 I would. Firstly, poor app – app runs so bloody slow it makes no sense how an app made in 2023 would. Secondly, costs $6 to withdraw to your account instantly.. whilst other firms are using open banking (trustly) to withdraw straight away. Thirdly, 2023 and still doesn’t allow you to do multi-bet builders on the website – the app lets you but it doesn’t allow player props (eg. for NFL) whilst the website does (but doesn’t allow you to do multi-bet builders). Fourthly, the interface is terrible… why on player props for example, are they called “Player B” and not their actual name like any other sportsbook? This company is beyond terrible.

Apparently betfair paddypower and skybet are all run by flutterentertainment.com I contacted paddypower that told me I’d self-excluded myself permanently on the 16th June 2016, I’d have to speak to one of there safer gambling agents over the phone. I was at work but they didn’t call anyway. The following day they said I’d self excluded myself at 04:30 in July 2017. I contacted Gamstop they said I’d registered for self-exclusion on the 31st August 2018 which ended and my accounts with William Hill and Ladbrokes would be re-activated when I received an email from Gamstop saying they’d removed my self-exclusion. I then had to speak to William Hill and Ladbrokes safe gambling agents to finally get access to both accounts but Flutter.com who own betfair paddypower and skybet keep insisting I self excluded myself permanently. Hence I’ll be contacting Gamstop to further my complaints about Flutterentertainment.com possibly forwarding this one on to companies House for further investigation

Amazingly, my account was opened and just fine. Then I deposited £2,000, which they happily (greedily, in retrospect) accepted. They then INSTANTLY suspended my account, making it impossible to even get my money back. I’ll be filing charges against these thieves. If you send them money, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Today I contacted Betfair support and an agent was really helpful, good approach, understanding and communication, so I’m very happy with his assistance! So, my problem was solved, after a few questions and answers, some checks and additional clarifications.Again, I was a little bit worried before contacting BF support, but this support guy did his job very well and now I’m really satisfied!

I can only speak as a horse racing punter but I found them pretty good. Yes, the account got suspended pending some identification issues but when I sought help from the “bot” it was sorted, no problem. Certainly not deserving of some of the bad comments I can see.

Worst site I’ve seen come across in my life ! My misses opened an account and got 10 bonus and almost everyone paid nothing bad one that paid £15 on £1 stale after 100s of spins ! Rigged to death. I contacted betfair today which are part of skybet. They told me I needed to contact betfair about my self exclusion. They said my account with Paddy power I’d been self excluded since 13th of June 2016. Which is totally wrong because I was registered with GAMSTOP on the 31st of August 2018 for 5 years meaning my self exclusion ended on the 1st September 2023

Avoid at all cost I have had to cancel my bank cards won £30 tried to withdraw they then suspended my account and requested photo proof of address and identity I sent as requested for my account to still be suspended. They then asked me to resend my information so I did and a week later account still suspended when I asked them why I was once again asked to send photos when I told them I was not comfortable with sending my information so many times especially to different people they seid they can’t proceed with helping me unlock my account. With the amount of fraud and identity theft these days I have cancelled all my bank cards

I would give them a minus if possible, found a winner at York took 13/2′ starting price was 9/1 and expected payment on the 9/1 but was paid at 13/2 so made a complaint and was told they changed the rules in July where you now have to opt in to get best odds which to me seems madness,anyway told them to close my account which they did before refunding my balance,now i cannot access my account to request the refund and seem to end up in an Indian call centre every time i use the chat function

Could not log into my account as hadn’t used it for about three years. I have a new email and had forgotten my password. Contact support was transferred three times to different very unhelpful agents had to explain myself three times, upload documents three times was kept holding on for ten minutes at a time and in the end after an hour I was no better off. Asked my son to write this reviewI wanted to increase my funds limit to 3k from 1k was asked to provide self assessment as well as proof of funds and documentation.Provided all the necessary information required explained it’s a online wholesellers companyWhen I logged in to betfair my account was suspended contacted live chat was told to wait few hours as they will review my account And then got this email below for permenetly closed When asked was asked not to message betfair support again. On live chat wrote my name and nbsp then refused to state what nbsp stands for..refused entry and stated its outside risk criteria but won’t explain what it means.No one willing to explain or help or work around this matter.As below email states this can’t be challenge not sure what to challenge if I do not even know Thank you for your co-operation to date. Upon review of your account and the documentation received, a business decision has been made to maintain permanent closure over your account, as the account has been deemed to no longer meet Betfair’s risk criteria. I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to divulge specific details pertaining to the closure as this is not made available to us. What I can confirm is that the decision was made in line with our Terms and Conditions and I’m afraid isn’t something that can be appealed. They also changed one of my bets I had and then said there is issues with the app and you should screenshot bets to prove there is a issue? Screenshot bets why would you have to do that every time.

Abysmal customer service! 72 hours and still no reply to messages. Asked for proof of address/income so I sent a monzo statement, they don’t accept those but will take a deposit from the card. Make you jump through hoops to withdraw £25. I’ve closed my account, plenty of better betting sites around.
