I generated £440 in my account – only for them to require bank statements, proof of identity etc etc etc then they closed my account. Nobody can help… spent 3 hours and counting trying to get my money out. Absolute Joke.

I had £1011 taken from my Revolut card and the bank closed the investigation without investigating so I went to betfair and betfair have taken 1 week to investigate but then did nothing and closed the case, so my money is stolen, I am on GAMSTOP and my money was deposited into someone else’s account which is against there T&Cs but they won’t pay me back

Bets are suspect on this app. Use a more reliable betting app that wont use term loopholes to stop paying you out. For example a player in a bet they offer gets subbed after 20mins? They pocket your bet and say if it was 10mins we would refund you. They move the goalposts as they say.

Absolutely appalling! I had a bet which involved Kevin De Bruyne. Unfortunately, De Bruyne went off injured around the 18th minute which means he didn’t have any real opportunity to complete any part of a bet involvement.Every bookmaker I have ever used will refund/void the bet if a player on a bet builder/bet goes off injured before half time. These scammers have a different idea. One of the “customer service” agents told me that they don’t care about other bookmakers, and will con customers as long as the player is on for one second.Laughable greed. I asked for this to be escalated to management, but instead they shut me down twice not answering this query and closed the chat, transferring me to an automated tool that checks if you have any free bets, which will tell you that you don’t just to get rid of you.I’ll be closing my account and not letting these conmen have any more of my business.

Easy to open a account but when you want close it the keep you waiting ages and suddenly the bot come to text you asking the same questions you answered before. The customer service is horrible, tried so many times. Seems like they don’t want your details out of their hands.Worst place ever!

Betfair allowed me to register and deposit with a 100%bonus. When I tried to place my first bet my account was closed. Live chat said that my account was closed on “business grounds”, but would not say anything else than it was the security department doing this. It was not possible to complain or talk to the security department. So Betfair just took 100€.

Oh dear ,I get the feeling that betfair maybe struggling . Not so long ago for the big horse meetings it was bet 10 pound on a horse racing multiple and get a 10 pound free multiple bet, that got shaved down to 5 pound to get a 5 pound multiple now its bet 5 pound on multiples to get a 1 pound free bet!! Best odds guaranteed is only on singles ,it’s all give less take more lol. Total thief’s, you win then they suspend your account saying this is due to them needing to verify who you are, both sides of bank card provided, full UK licence all provided, gas bill provided and still they keep running around in circles. Both sides of my card needed providing as they don’t believe that natwest puts the details on the back not the front.You don’t get this rubbish with the national lottery, casinos or even with Coral. Bad? Thats actually compliment for this company. Im currently running 100 days – 100 times try challenge on their Pinball daily Jackpot /Rewards machine…….and let me tell you that past 60 tries didn’t sum up even to 20 quid in total….and this daily dame is only available for depositors …whats more I already spent with them over a grand multiple times in the past always ending up the exact same 0£ balance which I don’t mind in the end its supposed to be for gun and entertainment.I however wasn’t entertained at all, to say the least. Signed up easily, deposited easily won £20. Went to withdraw and behold my account is now suspended asking for my documents and personal details along with a picture. Didn’t have a problem when I deposited, as soon as I Withdraw….Suspension. Used them for nearly 20 years. They have gone over the top with the Gambling Commission account review and requiring intimate details of my personal affairs that even a bank, building society or credit card company wouldn’t want on a loan/mortgage/credit application! And this is to use my own money. Dreadful.Unfortunately while they retain a virtual monopoly among betting exchanges they will be able to continue to ride roughshod over customers. Maybe all the people closing their accounts will move to Betdaq and add enough liquidity to make them a viable competitor.
