if I could give it 0 stars I would absolutely useless never have I been on a site so incompetent n unprofessional, I have signed up deposited played on my account got suspended due to verifying which is ok,sent documents to verify account after 3 days was checking the chat they had no time scale i was on chat numerous amounts of time they said nothing,23 days later to say the least is stupidly ridiculous 23 days to say your documents are no good even thou there was constant contact and to send again is a joke, said they had sent an email telling me what I sent was no good, there was no email from them at all so that was a lie,I actually asked for my money that I deposited off my account back as I was sick of the wait and not happy with the service they wouldn't let me withdraw my own money!!!My account didn't get verified and currently still waiting after sending the same documents prob another month of waiting the timescale is not ok at all and the help chat don't even get me started what help chat?? they full of bs I would not recommend this website however betfred I have been with for years and are very good never no problems!

Avoid betfair at all costs!! They will not help u in the slightest if u have an issue, lose connection during a game then say goodbye to your money! Contact support and u get a robot asking u about promotions and how much money they can take from you… total waste of time and money If u download any betfair apps!

Horrible company, the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Placed a bet and logged off. That night someone has hacked my account and cashed out the bet and placed it against my original bet. When I realised what's gone on I contacted betfair who said they will run security checks which took the whole of 2 minutes. To which they replied no unauthorised access can be seen on the account and they won't be returning any of my money, even though when I checked the devices what have been on my account its showing 3 or 4 different ips from different places. One of them logged in the day I placed the bet, one that night and another the day my bet was won. Surely they have the technology to see these other ips and to see a different device cashed out the bet in a totally different location to I am

Closing my account. They never done anything wrong as such but there are much better sites out there even in terms of UX. Odds are not even decent on sports. Hardly ever get a bonus. There is nothing personal about their service either. So what's the point in playing there? None.

I raised a complaint with betfairs escalation team, which was referred to their reviews team 9 days ago.

The nature of this complaint was betfairs verification process, as I was allowed to open an account with Id and bank statements, which provide information linked to previous self excluded accounts.

Since then betfair have continually asked me to contact gamstop (fob off) and that they could not review the complaint until the information was received. I explained that my issue is with their verification system and activating an account that has details linked to a previous self excluded account.

After emailing around 15 times over the past few days I inevitably reached out to gamstop to provide my data ( which links to the id and bank statement ) again this was not my complaint, it was a verification complaint through betfair adm simply activating an account that should not have been activated in the first place.

I provided the data 3 days ago, to ease their incompetence. I forwarded this to betfair 5 times, due to this incompetence. This morning I received an email asking for the details again. It's all to laughable really

I then went onto their facebook page and they could not help, as this case is with their "management" team.

This is by far, the worst experience I have ever had and I highly recommend that people avoid betfair and their services going forward.

You can see 99% of the reviews are terrible for a reason. Ive used numerous systems, betfair borgata hard rock you name it i have used it, and betfair/golden nugget/ fanduel system is by far the worst. Better safe than sorry right? Pick a better casino/bookie. Trust me….

Played slots on Betfair for years. Win occasionally, lose a lot which is to be expected, they are a business after all.
Since virtually all sport has been cancelled Betfair must’ve seen profits plummet. Which is probably why now you can’t win a thing on the slots! As the casino will now be their main source of income, the odds have changed drastically! Almost impossible to get any kind of bonus feature. They’re are not even trying to hide it, spin after spin with nothing. They’ve embarrassed themselves and lost a very loyal customer here.

Beyond scum. After 15 years closed account and with held £770 without giving a reason. They say the money will stay on the site forever and no one will get it. At a time in life where people need money and people are helping each other these scumbags are doing this. How can anyone working for these people be happy with their days work. I have been with Betfair since the year 2000 so after 20 years i thought they deserve a comment here.

If i could put 0 stars for these clowns i would. I've never wrote a review in my life about any casino but these lot are so bad i feel i need to. Only casino ive played at and the slots dont pay at all. Every bonus round you hit, if you hit one your lucky to win 10-15 pounds. Defo rigged.

My account was suspended on the 13th March for reasons unknown. They asked for proof of ID on multiple occasions since but my account remains locked and unable to withdraw my money.

The business wording, especially around 'special offers' are not written in plain English and unclear – meaning that its easy to spend more than you realise. Their chat bot to help with enquiries is useless and frustrating

I have reported the company to the gambling commission but fear my money is lost as they fail to respond.

Would not recommend anyone this online service – go into a betting shop instead where you know that you can place a bet without having to prove 100 times over who you are…

These guys used to be a decent bookmaker until PaddyPower bought them. They used to have decent offers and promotions, and competitive odds… now their 'offers' are really poor and free bets are extremely rare. On top of that, their slots are definitely paying out significantly less, to a point where it's clear something major has changed. I'm going to close my account indefinitely, I think.

Absolute joke!

I joined this site for the first time and took advantage of their 30 free spins promo. I went on to win around £5. I then went on to play some Deal Or No Deal 75 bingo and won alot! ( over £400 )

I went to collect some of my winnings and accidentally put in my brothers banking details ( Thank you Google chrome auto-fill btw!

About 2 hours later I got an email asking for my identification, as expected. But about 8 minutes after this I get another email stating my account was closed on "business grounds" ???

The ONLY thing I've done wrong at this point is try to withdraw from a shared household PC! and accidentally filled out a form with auto-fill.

Stay away!! My account was suspended out of the blue. Proof of address, funds etc was requested and sent to Betfair on the same day. 4 days later the account is still suspended and my funds locked.

Should be 0 stars.
Acca edge right now does not exist. They won't tell you… And unless you're someone going through all the T&Cs you will get screwed.
With the corona virus and a lot of games being voided… They will render your acca edge voided. So if you have accepted lower odds in case one fails… If one does fail but another game is voided… Your bet is lost even if all the other games actually playing win.

I signed up to the 'bet £10, receive £30 free' offer.
I did this by doing a £5 each way bet – total bet £10, however this apparently didnt qualify me for the free £30. I spoke to someone called 'Zack' on the chat who was an absolute waste of space, took him an hour and a half to achieve nothing and told me management confirmed £5 each way isnt a £10 stake.. although they were quick enough to take my £10! Then he closed the chat. I have had the last laugh as I was 'up' from winning so I have withdrew all my funds and will not be dealing with these cowboys again.

I really can't understand why a company like that has one of the worst customer support that I ever saw. Rude, inflexible and uneducated.
My account was disabled and I prove them with my documents and 1 picture of my old card that I use to deposit money… still they request 10 years old cads… this is impossible, I've been las month trying to prove with documents and still nothing.
It is sad but hopefully, betdaq will grow!!!!

Absolutely appalling customer service. Their agents are rude, condescending and completely lacking in any understanding of complaints procedures (majority are unaware that there is a complaints procedure).

The agents are difficult to talk to as their responses are generally incomprehensible. Extracting any-sort of information from them is very frustrating as they struggle to answer even the simplest of questions.

I sincerely doubt any of their agents have undertaken any sort of job specific training.

I strongly advise avoiding this cowboy organisation at all costs!

Today's Rostov v CSKA Moscow match was sick joke with markets suspended for ages. Example on the 3.5 Goal market, Rostov received a yellow card at 17 minutes, market suspended till 26 minutes. During the suspension CSKA received a red card and also scored a goal. When markets resumed, odds had altered dramatically.
Rostov scored an equalizing goal at 31minutes and market again suspended for 8 minutes. After half time same as Rostov scored a second goal after CSKA received a second red card. I've no problem with any market being suspended, but Betdaq, Smarkets, Mansion House and bookmakers all quickly reinstate markets, so why don't Betfair?

This is now the 3rd time I've had a problem with this company and I have finally had enough. I'm leaving to use Smarkets.

The last problem cost me £420 through no fault of own and their customer service response was very patronising and condescending. They show no empathy and no sign of customer loyalty. A truly awful experience dealing with them.

I actually feel a weight has been lifted after leaving them and I would highly encourage you to do the same. If not, just pray that you don't make a mistake or you will never ever get a happy outcome.

Placed a anti post bet on cheltenham , its a none runner, they do NOT refund your stake as a none runner!! you have lost it . i was sucked in cause they offered 100.to 1 , when most where 50 to 1 . the other thing i must point out with this terrible experience is that you can never talk live to anyone, there is NO phone number… just a robot type reply . and they refuse to phone you when you have a problem. in my view a def stay clear.

Well I must say what a relief it is to find that other people have a great dislike of Betfair and its appalling Customer Service. I had been away for three weeks on holiday to find that when I tried place a bet I was to learn my account was suspended due suspicious activity.

I went through security until it came to the question what was the last horse I backed on betfair, as this was over a month ago I simply could not answer, I offered my address last deposit date and amount and even my last four numbers of my card but to know avail.

I got upset with the agent saying I should have my account closed and any money in the account returned, she took this to mean I wanted to self exclude and she went on to say my Paddy Power account would also be closed I was very angry but never once used any language and pointed out by message that was not what I wanted all I wanted was to know what has gone in my account.

I requested a Manager call back after three days I am still waiting I said to an adviser today again by message contact that the customer service was a disgrace and I was immediately cut off for bad language I never swore or anything. I think Betfair is a disgrace to the sport of racing and its actions which I see repeated here bring the sport into disrepute, no one will do anything about this Ill run company or its advisers who are so unprofessional they do not have the first idea about customer care.

As I close I do find a comfort that others find themselves in the same position as myself, If i could I would recommend no punter uses this site for betting but hey it wont happen.

Won £9 on free spins on the arcade, i then used the £9 to bet on the football and won another £31. I then tried to withdraw the £40 only to see a message to say i needed to make a deposit so i could then withdraw to it so i deposited £10. I then withdrew £50 and i thought that was that…done. i then received message by email 2 hours later to say they have closed my account. Ripped me off by £50 and i will be filing a complaint with the gambling commission and contacting ibas. AVOID THE SCAMMERS.

I had an issue with registration. I closed my web browser tab partway through the registration process. Unfortunately on my return to 'complete' the reg I was greeted with an error message and the inability to complete my membership. And so, I did the only sensible thing and got in contact with customer service. Well,what an absolute shambles! I cannot type any words that are appropriate to articulate my frustration. Communication is non-existent. However, communication interchange between the rep and myself was excellent, however, when it came to actually achieving something, all I was greeted with was a void of silence.

The simple act of communication seems so difficult to achieve in today's world. Shame.

Betfair exchange credited their free bet to me 18 hours after it was due, which did not leave me enough time to use it. Went on live chat and they deny all wrong-doing and it was entirely my fault apparently!! I suggest they update their terms from 'free bet will be credited when qualifying bet settles' to 'we will credited the free bet whenever we fancy'

BEWARE: consider not taking the sign up matching bonus. Deposit $200 and get $200 matching bonus. If you bet $1 and win (never dipping into the bonus) you cannot get YOUR $200 cash out of the casino until you bet 20 times $200 ($4,000 wagering requirement). From the first successful bet, your $200 is not yours anymore until wagering $4,000.

The customer service is terrible. I made an account and within 10 -15 minutes of it being created the account had been suspended because I didn't upload pictures of my driving license, passport, etc. fast enough. It let me deposit funds before telling me it was suspended though…

I got in touch with customer service and they told me I had to wait for an email to tell me when my account suspension will be lifted. Four days later: Account still suspended, so I decide screw it I'm going to withdraw the funds I put in… Nope, I can't withdraw my own money because my account is suspended! …really.

I get in touch with support again and the conversation goes something like this:

Me: "Hi Ian (Agent) my account has been suspended now for four days because I didn't upload my credentials in time".
Agent: "You'll need to wait for someone to be in touch regarding your situation".
Me "iv waited long enough, I just want my money refunded now but the website won't let me do that because of this suspension".
Agent "You'll just have to wait for someone to get in touch…"
Me " I understand I need to wait for contact about my account suspension but its been four days now, and im asking: why can't I just get my money back?".
Agent "I'm sorry you'll need to wait for someone to get in contact".
Me "just answer my question"
Agent "I can see this is just going round in circles so I'm going to end the conversation here"
-ends conversation.

To add insult to injury, the 30/1 bet I wanted to put on via Betfare won. :/ and I never got a chance to put it on via another website because of busy schedule and all the faffing about with Betfair CS.

I managed to get my money refunded eventually. Turns out they could have just done it the first time I asked. Account suspension was never lifted. Apparently it was something to do with my bank not sending them some information, which Ian (the agent above) could have told me. But rather than email me to let me know, or tell me during live chat so that I could sort it out they decided to do nothing and leave me in suspense while fobbing off my refund request with "you'll need to wait for someone to contact you".
