Absolutely terrible, I deposited $10 for the promotion, didn’t receive the bonus, played the $10 won $360 legit (no wagering) then went to verify my documents and now I can’t login, comes up with a please try this site again later. Have emailed all support documents…no reply lol

The issue that I have experienced was: I had a previous self exclusion in place with GAMSTOP which came to an end in October of 2024, I attempted to open a Betway Account, however it was coming up as already having an account. I contacted the live chat team and was informed I had an account that was already under self exclusion, and as this had come to an end I needed to contact GAMSTOP to provide evidence of this so the account could be re-opened. I provided the evidence on Thursday 16th January and the old account was subsequently re-opened. This was confirmed by their safer gambling team. I used my account without any issues, however on Sunday 19th January, I was using my account and made a deposit of £200 via bank transfer, I received a text message confirming it had gone through, however my screen just went white. After refreshing my app, I got a message to inform me that my account had been blacklisted, despite numerous attempts to speak to the live chat team, I was unable to get through. I eventually spoke with them on Monday 20th January and I was advised that my account had been closed due to a management decision as per section 7 of the terms and conditions, now this is fine, if they don’t want me as a customer then I have no issues with this. However my issue occurred when I asked about getting my money back from my account. I was advised that’Betway reserves the right to withhold any winnings or funds on the account as per the Terms and Conditions. Therefore any deposits, unsettled bet wagers, winnings or withdrawals on your account may be retained and claimed by Betway.”Any and all funds in your account balance/gaming wallet may been retained and considered as property of Betway, as per Terms 7 of our Terms Policy’This I am not happy with!!It occurred on: 20/01/2025This has made my very angry as having read through the terms and conditions of section 7, it specifies that upon closure of the account by Betway, all funds will be returned to the customer, except in the event where’There has been illicit activity’ or ‘Prohibited activity’. There has been no communication from Betway which even suggest that any of this has occurred, other than the fact ‘It was a management decision to close the account’There is absolutely no reason why my account balance should become the property of Betway Limited. As per the rules outlined by the UKGC which regulates Betway, they specify:-‘A customer’s un-staked deposits remain their property. Other than where necessary to comply with a General Regulatory Obligation, licensees must not have terms that allow them to confiscate all or part of a customer’s money that has been deposited with them, but not yet staked.’This is also outlined within the Fair and Transparent Terms and PracticesFor me it is very simple, I want my deposits returning to me, Betway cannot just take a deposit, block the account and keep the funds for themselves stating its their right to do so.

So, imagine this. You have a night out with the friends and you watch the darts, we then all see if we can log in to paddy and place a bet. No issues! We all won a few pence on Littler, well not George cos he put 300 quid on! I got an add in some other app – Free bets with Betway if you deposit £30, we tried it. As soon as i put my 30 quid in (taken from my bank) i was logged out and then an account locked screen appears. I spend some time on their live chat, they ask for the usual drivers license, utility bill. Ballache, ye, gambling sites asking for this, a tad cautious for sure. Heard nothing for a few days. An email is sent saying i need to send them the data. I sent it again. Got back in touch with the live chat, they said the same thing, i sent it all again. Got in touch with the chat thing after 24 hrs, they said the same thing again. In short they have kind of ransomed my money. 7 days later im still waiting. Just give me the 30 back lads ill spaff it somewhere else!

Literally the worst company I’ve used. They’ve taken more money out of my bank than they’ve added to my betting account. I’ve attempted to use their ‘live chat’ multiple times which does not work and there doesn’t appear to be another way of contacting them. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely atrocious company. I registered account 3 days ago and deposited funds. They immediately locked me out and after enquiring I needed to provide documents. Fair enough, but 3 days after nothing. Their live chat yesterday did not respond to me in over an hour and today I was no. 45 in the queue…needless to say I didn’t wait. Bear in mind their welcome promotional offer must be taken up within 7 days of registering, yet they have robbed me off 3 so far. Joke betting site, constantly broken links with supposedly allocated “Free Spins”. …ended up costing me money (as I hadn’t realized the link to the game with the “FREE SPINS” hadn’t any free spins attached. I’ve been using betway for a long time. I made a 270$ bet that won and it says it’s paid out 540. However, they only paid me 225$ total. How did I lose money on a winning bet? Again i tried to deposit GBP25 and it just stayed with blue green and yellow circles alternating around each other. After five minutes lapsed, I came back and it was still the same. I won NZD 202,500 on Betway and requested a withdrawal between January 6th and 8th. It’s now been over 7 days, and my payment has still not been processed. Every time I reach out to customer support, I receive the same generic response that the operations team is reviewing my account, but they can’t provide any time frame for when the payment will be processed. It’s incredibly frustrating to see that, despite spending millions on advertisements and promotions, they seem to have no regard for their existing customers. I requested a withdrawal eight days ago. The day after I requested the withdrawal, my account was closed for verification and they requested documents. I sent all the documents to them within minutes to verify my account. And now it’s eight days later and I still haven’t gotten a clear response on what is occurring other than the operations team is reviewing my documents. Unfortunately I’m having bad experience and same issue as people before. Since 10/1 I didn’t receive a single withdrawal. Last 5 days I’m trying to contact customer service and find the solution, but without any success. Online support is not helpful at all, they are unable to conect you with financial team or supervisor. So the only information you get is they trying to fix it and you can contact them again in 48 hours. The only solution they found was to unable me to log in to my account. Which I tried to contact them again and they only apologized they having some connection problems in UK. So not only didn’t get my withdrawals.. I’m also unable to log on to my account. Avoid this betting company if you don’t want to wait over the week for withdrawal. Costumer service doesn’t exist on this site…

Avoid!! To make a deposit it takes one minute, been 48 hours since I tried to make a withdrawal and the payment still hasnt even been processed. Don’t credit you your free bet as per their terms and then when you try to withdraw to a card as I wanted to try get some of money back, they then say you can’t withdraw to that method even though you have used it to deposit and I am sure they need to pay it back to the same method. Customer Service is TERRIBLE! I’ve chatted with several people over the last few days and all of them have been incapable of professionally handling my issues and were quick to dismiss me from chat. I have been playing on this site for YEARS with no issues and using the same device. All of a sudden after requesting a withdrawal, i get an email stating they closed my account because of a geolocation issue or a VPN use or something of that nature. I have no idea what they are referring to and have no reason to use such as I live in a state they operate. Ive heard from several people that this is a tactic used not to pay out and invalidate your winnings. I submitted the documents requested to prove my identity and have not heard anything. I am currently locked out of the account and have no way to see the status of my withdrawal or remove my Card and Banking information from their site. Any callback request has been followed up immediately with an email saying we tried to call you back but haven’t been able to reach you within a minute of requesting it. How is that possible? Considering all of the negative reviews it seems that this is not an isolated incident. My next step may have to be my state gaming control board as this seems to be a widespread issue.
