Recent experience with Betway THEY DO PAY! So for all of you reading the bad reviews and panicking about how your going to get your win money (which i initially did the same looking all over the internet reading the bad reviews and going mad) i can confirm i have received my pay (over 20k) in two days, the only issue was they wanted me to add another payment method -withdrawals once submitted take 24 hours anyway with this company- (i received a email saying the payment was unable to go through so i should edit my withdrawal method) as the withdrawal amount was high and not accepted to be transferred to my Visa account which was the original deposit method i guess. I found out what i was suppose to do using their Live Chat support (this is a very bad live chat i would agree, they are only open certain hours and the advisors don’t stay on the chat till you have solved your issue, in fact the advisor i spoke to left saying they need to serve other customers although i told them to wait a moment while i update my method, i screen shotted everything incase i was advised wrong) So, i added Paypal – you have to deposit a minimum amount for it to show up on your withdrawal – which again wasn’t showing up on the withdrawal section. So i tried again and added instant pay (directed me to online banking to confirm deposit and trust the recipient) deposited around £5-£10 went back onto the withdrawal section and instant pay showed up on my withdrawal section, i then approved for that method to be my preferred -Important- (you got to tick the one you want as preferred withdrawal method for the transfer to go through other than Visa). By the way adding a withdrawal method does NOT mean adding a new card !! Although any card in your sole name same as the Betway account would work, it means a different METHOD of pay (cant accept another persons account) and to just add a different method eg Paypal – Instant Pay – Bank transfer and a few others listed on there. After i did that using instant pay, the next day i literally got paid in the morning … and i am talking about a high win above 20k. I was so surprised after all these bad reviews i actually got paid! I was planning to speak to them via live chat again and tell them my frustration if i didn’t get paid but that didn’t need to happen. So just to calm majority of you new users (same as me), i confirm it is legit, you get paid if you follow and do exactly as told, enter all details correctly and under your name, edit your withdrawal method by adding more than one way of withdrawal under your sole bank account (preferably all methods under the card you deposited with) if you can and you should have no problem! If in any case your one of them ones who are still worried, deposit a minimum amount £5-£10, withdraw it back, wait for the pay (24h) and see it back in your account 👍🏼

Horrendous!! Signed up and I was locked out of my account as soon as a deposited funds with no indication as to why. 3 hours on live chat to find out that verification documents were required. Fair enough, but it would be nice if they’d let me know… 3 days after sending documents and i’m now told I just need to wait…. I requested my money back and they now require documentation to return my money…. But it’s documentation I’ve already sent. Ridiculous.

The VIP host are offline during this time, yet the website is open for play – but when you chat to an agent, all they can do is escalate and not resolve anything. I spoke to Carlos and Mpile and I requested many times for the chat NOT to be ended until I am satisfied with the resolution but both live agents abruptly ended the chat. It takes time to speak to an agent, surely when the client says DO NOT CLOSE OR END THIS CHAT, then the agent should not. I also asked to speak to the supervisor Zunaid and I was told it was not necessary and I should wait for about 6 hours for feedback, I must be patient. It’s hilarious. We loose our money on this site and when we ask for assistance, we are treated with harshness and rudeness. Absolutely no help at all – what is the use of having a 24/7/365 if your call center is filled with incompetent people?????

Still trying to find an update on my account verification. I sent my documents off just over 2 days ago via their email as I was told to do by a chat agent and so far heard nothing. Waiting on a decent withdrawal so until then I can’t do anything. It’s not even processing my withdrawal it just says it’s been submitted. I may be impatient but I can’t help but feel it’s going to take ages especially after reading the majority of the negative reviews. I am very worried. Where do I begin? I attempted to make a withdrawal at the beginning of November, and as of 8th December, I am still waiting for my money.I’ve contacted Betway’s customer support numerous times and encountered the same excuses over and over:”Account needs to be verified” – I have verified my account four times now. I sent my documents to their verify.uk email and their support email multiple times.”Live verification” – I also verified my account twice via their live link, taking live pictures of myself and my ID.”Wrong format” – Then I was told the file format of my documents was incorrect. I had to reach out myself to discover this; no one informed me proactively. I uploaded my documents in PNG, JPEG, and PDF formats, as instructed, just to make sure. This should not even matter since I had already completed live verification twice.After all of this, they locked my account. Thankfully, I had anticipated this and saved copies of every page of my account details.What’s worse, I was provided several case numbers via email, only to be told in live chat that “no one monitors the support email inbox, so don’t bother”. I have transcripts of their agents saying this. I was also advised not to reach out, as they would contact me when needed – but they failed to do so multiple times, leaving me no choice but to chase them repeatedly.As of now, I am still waiting for my money. I can’t find any other way to feed this back to Betway. The website has recently been redesigned. Now it is almost unusable on a mobile phone. I suspect betway want you to use their app but l am loathe to do that.Also the new menu layout is missing items that previously appeared, like some promotional options like 4 to win, making some pages difficult to find.

The problem with writing a negative review on a gambling website is that everyone will probably think you are just a sore loser. This is just my experience I’ve had with them and I know I’m not the only one. I’ve played for a long time across a variety of gambling brands. Betway is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I’ve had some wins and some losses but there is always something wrong whether it’s a withdrawal, deposit or the functionality of games. The customer service is appalling I’ve never experienced anything so bad. 3 days on a pending withdrawal only when I chase it up they wish to tell me there’s a problem and it’s taken my 3 hours today to get absolutely no where, they are presumptuous and judging. I just want my withdrawal and the account closed at this point. There’s so many better places to go for good experiences.The thing with gambling is it’s supposed to be fun and it’s them that take the fun out of it. Okay here’s what i know about this site. I made an account a year ago in 2023 or late 2022 and they self excluded my account last year around May of 2023 for unknown dumb reason and i tried to reactivate that account earlier this year and I got denied that. So I made a new account back in March or April of this year and I’ve been using it since then whenever I has money and feeling lucky but was responsible too. Until today they self excluded my new account because from older account was self excluded and on top of that I won a bet yesterday and I don’t know if I will get that payment for that bet now which really bullshit and sketchy. Why would they self excluded an account without letting you know why especially if it’s a newer account. I use to like this betting site but not anymore after this really bad service especially with scamming going on a lot nowadays too. Or they gave no fraud protection on people’s accounts and it’s easy for scammers to hack people’s betway accounts or the people that work betway are actually scammers I don’t know something going on there and I advise people not to use there services until something is done about that. I tried to withdraw from betway they had recently updated my debit card . They told me they couldn’t process it as it hadn’t been added as my preferred withdrawal option. I updated my preferred withdrawal option ask them to try again no joy. I asked them to reverse the withdrawal to my balance no joy couldn’t do that got on to chat again after half an hour told me they were transferring me to their payment team and hung up. Only way to contact them is through live chat and unhelpful is an understatement. There are a lot of reliable and reputable betting companies unfortunately this is not one of them. Martin Cox. Hi ! I just created an account .. i went on one my binges and deposited about $1000 on this site in a matter of hours i made my money back and then some . About $1650 total. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to retrieve my money i sent bank statements selfies utility bill all that, i see now this is a scam site who picks and chooses when to pay out. I will be joining a class action! This is not cool.

Always recommended Betway I was happy with depositing £20 when ever I felt like a flutter but they won’t you to deposit £50.00 now Not happening I’ve now closed my account half heartedly Bet365 is the way to go been with them 20 yrs no problems
