Been with Matchbook three months and virtually every single time I log in there's an issue with the app. Live video issues, odds issues or suchlike and it never gets resolved All I get from the team is have you tried to clear the cache and then we'll escalate it to get it un(resolved)It's on par with the SBK Smarkets app when it comes to inaccessibility I'm a patient chap but I've now had enough of this especially on the weekend and I've uninstalled

Rory dealt with the issue I brought to him very well. Five stars. One star lost simply because I had to raise the issue in the first place, as a free bet had not been added to my account which was part of a promotion.

I am writing this upon receiving an email from Trustpilot following an interaction with Matchbook's 'Live Chat' support.I was contacting them because the £10 free bet I received as part of a very generous horse racing offer had been removed from my account a few hours prior to the stated 7-day expiry.A Matchbook employee (Finn) joined the chat promptly and restored the free bet almost immediately without any quibbling. It was a really polite and helpful interaction which I must say contrasted refreshingly with support experiences with some online bookmakers and swiftly resulted in the desired (and correct) outcome.In general I think Matchbook is really great and would recommend it unreservedly.

As if someone below is really giving them a five star review because they got a free 10 betI've never encountered such a haphazard way of running a site. You didn't even have the common courtesy to reach out to me and see what was wrong you just went running to Trustpilot to get it taken offline. Because of that you get a one star nowI'm guessing you have no such problems when people leave you five star.

They have an over zealous compliance team who make it their business to interfere at every single juncture imaginable. These guys just won’t leave you alone. After a week of compliance reviews and a request for every document under the sun they gave me a paltry 2.5k net limit per month (my income is >500k). This makes laying bets a non starter. After the compliance review to determine my deposits I thought we were done. But no. After 8 days of back and forth I was then told now the KYC team need to start their own review. This couldn’t be done at the same time of course. I was told to contact them once that is done. Finally that completes (no one there bothers to tell you this) I deposit 1500 and withdraw 2300. I get an email the next day saying the account is locked now for 24 hours because we implement a 24 hr 1500 deposit limit. A new rule which no one thought to mention. There are so many rules I cant keep up and told them to close my account. I will message the ceo at some point if he/she is even bothered but I suspect not. The problem is these compliance departments have no clue what they are doing or what the regulations are. When that happens they just keep asking for more stuff and doing more work and implementing random rules. All because they are scared stiff of getting a fine. Anyway I’ve given up. They don’t want you to bet so best to find another pastime.

I tried to recover my old account, but, after sending my new documents, they told me they don't match with their rules. My passport and address on my HSBC was accepted by everyone except MatchBook. I am wondering, if the reason is my new Vietnamese address. I have been living in Vietnam for 5 years, and it's not the first time that some European Company doubts my identity. Maybe not, and the employees are old foxes, when it comes to documents. To me, they look biased, maybe someone has never travelled outside the UK. Moreover, they asked me for some evidence of income to prove my money. I mean how much could I deposit? I guess no more than 1k, It's a bookmaker, do I need to prove even $100 for a bet? I experienced something like this, they asked me for my passport when I was buying a charge for my phone. The country where I experienced it is Cuba, not really a free country. I hope it will be better in the future.

I opened my account a few months ago. Have deposited a couple of times. It was only when I wanted to make a withdrawal they asked for ID, selfies, address documents. I did pass verification as I've nothing to hide but I don't appreciate when bookmakers do this and I really did NOT expect that horrible behaviour from a betting exchange.The gambling commission are quite clear that companies shouldn't do this at the point of withdrawal.

Been a matchbook customer for over 8 years with a net deposit of nearly £80,000. I have had some good days with matchbook and always reinvest any winnings I may make.Recently their compliance team reviewed my income which has been regular income and reduced my 30 day rolling loss limit by 75% which I appealed with no avail. This is only going to make it harder for me to gain the experience I had of making a decent sum with the lower limit. I am constantly reminded about safer gambling, I chose matchbook because I find this the safest option, yet with the lower limits I will have to go to an uncomfortable environment with the remaining allowed betting funds I have available and wait 30 days before I can play again with matchbook once my limit has been reached. Safer gambling works both ways.

Deposited £35 my first time using the site, and withdrew £216 (so I thought) within an hour of withdrawal my account was closed and I was told I needed to provide ID Verification which I wasn’t fussed with, I have proceeded to send over my documents and was told I’d get a response within 72 hrs. It has been 4 days now and not 1 email back. Just hoping I’d see the money as it’s close to Xmas :/

Laugh out loud at a page full of invited five star reviews shows how easily pleased simpletons are. If you want your password recovered they might be fine but anything slightly more complicated and then you're in a mess. You're dealing with uneducated reps who are unhelpful and stubborn. They say they'll get back in touch but never do.

Relatively new to Exchange betting but so far it seems to be a good platform. Decent liquidity on all the major events and their customer support team was very quick at handling an issue I had after I forgot to type in the bonus code when signing up.

Ok want to give a higher rating but their cash out is absolutely scandalous!! I had a £1 bet and took 30/1 at the start of todays match ht lazio ft Ajax. At half time with Lazio winning 1 O and the best return if I just backed Ajax at by to win 6/1 well it’s really 5/1 as matchbook have the commission I clicked on my bet just to see what my cash out would be. The screen went blank no amount given then £1 appeared in my account! No way would I cash out for that sum! So what’s going on here Matchbook !!!

It's a scam platform. And the staff are racists! It might let you use the platform for a few months but will then close the account and take all your money. I think the only good reviews are fake. It's impossible for anyone to rate this platform as 5 star! So many issues. the liquidity is poor and on a number of occasions, winning trades have been voided and money returned. I can't voice my frustration enough.

Matchbook have a bad habit of unlike Bf, that as soon as the markets close, the page you're on disappears which means you can't get back on to watch the race. Which is incredibly annoying.When I contact the customer Service they do reply fast but then refuse to engage if you have the audacity to question them. They never take the blame for anything and nothing is their fault. Their default position is that there never wrong and it's not their fault. It's the supplier of the feed or people who do the games. But never themI've given them 2 stars as they're not the worst

It’s unusual to speak with a person these days and this was a refreshing change from the usual bot service you get in most places. Keep up the good work.

Conor on customer service was not helpful and just replied generic AI type responses. Go with Betfair or smarkets guys much better exchanges
