Decent exchange but not as good as Betfair as fewer markets, worse prices and fewer offers. 2 stars because despite their claim of 30x wagering requirement on their introductory casino offer it is in effect 60x. Their terms and conditions are very clever to hide this fact. I would advise any customers to avoid this offer and keep your money in your pocket.

The betting experience has been positive, and I particularly love the Matchbook Zero feature due to its no-commission policy on winning bets.However, I have noticed a room for improvement in the live baseball betting aspect. There have been instances where the markets for baseball close when the games go live, and occasionally they reappear.It would be highly appreciated if the live baseball betting experience could be enhanced to match the level of quality and convenience offered for soccer. This would greatly enhance the overall user experience.If baseball can have similar live experience as soccer, that would be really great.

After a take a break period matchbook didn’t allow me to deposit. So because I’m a responsible gambler it might be they don’t want your business?Will complain to gambling commission. In my opinion this is a sinister twist on new legislation. Also…are all these 5 star reviews for real?…come on….

Great site only issue I like the in play market on the football it’s very limited ones with no green market you can’t even access the marker which is awful to lay out its win or loose which the exchange is not about that

I’d like to say, as a relatively long term player, I am totally amazed at how fast bank transfers go after i request, some are instant. I get emails asking me if i’m ok with betting losses, which overall i’m up, but I think is a good thing they keep an eye on loses as a responsible site. Overall, I think they are a solid, fair company and with the fastest deposit and withdrawal speed, wont be going elsewhere….

Customer complaints were very helpfulThere was a mix up with a promotional offer. Initially I was told that my sign up offer had to stay in place, but the person spoke to a manager who agreed to rectify the mistake

I am giving 5 stars because their website is very fast and easy to navigate. The odds are higher compared to the other bookmakers. I have improved my play using their platform.

Opposed to some other sites I find Matchbook quick and easy to navigate.No real problems getting matched. The only drawback lack of streaming for all sports, otherwise a good experience.

They have a dedicated team who supports users wanting to interact with their API. Their API docs are a good starter – you will likely need some help but there are that many coding languages you could create a site for each one so it’s a beginners guide. Would recommend to any user looking to use API because there is always someone to answer a query.

Customer of 5 years who had account frozen day before Cheltenham Festival. What a truly great day to pick!! Now they are withholding my money and will not provide a statement of acitivty. Always liked the platform but recent outages particularly on Saturdays have left me exposed with unmatched bets

Very easy to use platform, and great odds of course as I’d expect from an exchange. Competitive across all markets and typically blows other exchanges out of the water on US Sports. Customer service is also extremely friendly and helpful, any issue I’ve had has been dealt with quickly and easily, highly recommend!

Was great until they started screwing me over.Lost £50 after proving the odds froze on their horse odds so was unable to lay a back bet i screen recorded the race odds as were actually happening after odds freezing for 3 minutes only to be told apologies was error on our site but not liable to refund.They clearly don’t give a damn about their customers just what can be swindled out of them. Then they close account for KYC welfare checks and after numerous documents 20 days and still waiting.I appreciate needs doing but even getting a mortgage don’t ask this much info it’s beyond a joke. I used to give these 5 stars but sadly my views have dropped.Sadly gone down hill and the staff are not very helpful at all

Having some knowledge of matchbook’s propensity to ignore the rules, it’s a bit rich for matchbook to lock people out of their accounts for refusing to submit financial information which Banks and HMRC advise against divulging. If Paul G flags this review as well because the truth hurts so much, I will remind everyone of the fines and suspension imposed on matchbook by the Gambling Commission.

An absolute pleasure to have a betting operator who puts customer issues first …there customer help desk is fabulous…everything resolved quick …unlike the other 2 match betting operators who have lost me for good….I can see match book taking a lot of customers from betdaq and betfair….plenty liquidity in markets and never had any issues betting or laying

Matchbook can’t take criticism. Not only are Matchbook terrified of their regulators, they are now running scared of anyone who is critical of them. They have now resorted to flagging unfavourable reviews on Trustpilot and having them removed.

I have used this site for a long period, have always found the functionality of both the main site and app really good and comparative to Smarkets in relation to market availability, settlements, funds clearance etc.However I have recently had the account limited to a derisory cap, from what was a previously agreed and sensible level, making it practically unusable. When questioned I was told it was related to KYC and was asked to provide a variety of documents yet again. this is despite providing all the relevant documents once upon signing up, and then once again later in my usage of the account, now they need access to all accounts, payslips etc. yet again.Effectively with the continued requests for personal data, the company are requesting real-time continuous access to every aspect of my financial life. This is far beyond the requirements of any bookmaking site, or indeed any financial institution I have ever dealt with, even when investing significant sums.

I use Matchbook everyday. The layout is super easy to navigate, they regularly have good offers on and they do something that other exchanges don’t to: “Enhanced Specials” – boosted odds on shots on target and other quirky bets, certainly makes the experience more interesting! Thanks, Matchbook!

great until they shut down your account, on a whole, not as good as smarkets, not as many markets events etc, not as much functionality for example you can’t lay accas, they need to catch up, still a good platform however if you are matched betting and you lose a lot of money in a short period of time say goodbye to your account, I understand that they have laws to follow but when you provide evidence of matched betting and huge assets then they still shutdown your account without providing further relevant dialogue it’s very poor service, they should at least request more information if needed, I will continue to spread the word, online and via word of mouth, they also started to ignore me after sending several emails, emailed support and EDD recently, no reply, tried to raise a complaint, the complaint department never replied, thus I will passionately tell the truth and tell others to stay away, I know matchbook were fined millions a while ago due to bad practices however you still need to see things through and give customers an opportunity and treat them with fairness and respect, appalling behaviour
