So… I have been playing at betfair now for about 8 months and this is what I have to say, at first you get a few okay wins to reel you in so you think your going to hit a decent win but that soon goes down the shitter! They are absolute robbing C*nts who should not be operating and anybody who says “oh this person is only sayin this because their a sore loser need to think again because that’s not the case at all. I’m not one to write reviews but I’ve done it to warn people who are thinking of even opening an account with them to think again! This company have literally made me ill at times with the absolute shambolic corruption, they think there clever but it’s so damn obvious they conning people and that’s what there here for! My close friend has left this site a few weeks ago too because of the same reasons and I know plenty more people who have left them too, please people don’t let this grotesque company operate anymore go somewhere else these need wiped off the face of the earth!

3 star is only for the sports side otherwise they would get one sports side brilliant love it games on the otherwise are the worst ever not even worth putting a pound on cause one day u win then the rest you lose all the time. Let’s go onto virtual I’ve never experienced anything so rubbish. Horrendous site for gaming, the only thing it does well is take deposits. All the games seem to sap your balance very quickly rarely hit a bonus and if you do the return is minimal and annoyongly games regularly crash. Also found that Betfair daily bonus is linked to how much you spend, deposit nothing you get nothing. Played the free Pinball bonus for 14 days straight and lost everytime, when you do actually win its usually a 20p bingo card or 2 x 10p free spins !!?? Other sites such as Bet365 regularly give £5 free bet or 10 free spins, thats a bonus and you dont have to deposit to get it! Betfair is one to stay clear of.

Initially thought they seemed OK but after using them for a good few months now they are just as bad if not worse than the other gambling companies. Closed my account, reason being is that was ‘a security issue’, customer services do not get any more information to give you than that. There was no security issue, they just wanted to close my account & keep my money. They can do it to whoever they want, whenever they want & claim ‘security issue’. Paddy Power have done the same to me. Do not use.

Won an 8-fold both teams to score last night. They have retained my winnings and won’t pay out!! Said I have another account with them. I have never used Betfair before in my life, I set everything up yesterday and there seemed to be no problems until I withdrew my £120. Logged me out and tried to log back in and they had closed my account down. When I spoke to them they had told me they will be retaining my winnings and my account is closed and there is no where further to go, end of basically. Do not use!

I banked my winnings on a Saturday so I had some stake for the Melbourne cup Tuesday passed no money it’s now Wednesday and still no money in my account. I rang up customer service and was told one to five days and that I wasn’t forced to make a withdrawal. I won’t use bet365 again. For a bookmaker to do this and have me miss racing’s biggest day in Australia is pathetic. If U lose and just give them money it’s ok but if U want Ur winnings it’s crap

These company do not honour their own welcome bonus. Lure you in with offers and do not pay them which constitutes a breach of faith. Customer service agent agreed that she should correct the situation only for her supervisor to refuse. Unpleasant people to deal with generally.There is no shortage of book makers so within a few hours Ive withdrawn my business. Avoid this place or play at your own risk. Terrible place.

What a great start with bonuses, then a week into the site I placed a bet and it deducted the balance said the bet was placed. I come back half hour later thinking I won and bang no trace of the bet and my stake given back. I contacted them and their response was, we are sorry have a good night and your stake was given back to you. Wow so generous and caring. Also Sportnation I hope you respond to this and I’ll throw the transcripts in for you too.

Verification process is a nightmare. I was allowed to deposit heavily with no questions asked, then when you withdraw you have document requests coming out of your ears. Payslips aren’t enough to prove a source of funds apparently, and neither is a bank statement showing money in. You have to provide a full bank statement showing everything else that you spend your money on, and it’s simply an invasion of privacy. If the amount of money I spend on my Chinese at the weekend determines whether or not I can use the site and withdraw money, you should be asking for it before I’ve deposited thousands with you, it’s that simple. Avoid.

One of the worst experiences I've had with a company ever. They bring me in with bonuses, let me deposit and cash out a few times, then lock my account and tell me they need documentation galore on me, or I won't be getting my most recent withdrawal. (Even though the previous customer service agent said it wouldn't affect it.) They wasted multiple hours of my time refusing to answer questions or even resolve this issue in anyway. Eventually, they knew they were in the wrong and released my withdrawal, but then banned my account.

These guys are genius scam artists. I'd avoid 110%. Unless you have the patience like I did.

I deposited £10, then won £50. As soon as that win went into my account then suddenly my account was disabled or whatever they say!! I’ve spent 3 weeks sending multiple documents just to prove who I am, they didn’t want to prove who I was when they took my money!!!!!

They refuse documents for reasons that are absolutely ridiculous!! I sent a bank statement in with dates etc and they told me there was no dat for the transaction hahahahhaha!!

The online chats are useless, they just say it’s down to the verification team who must be working 48hr shifts with no sleep if they can’t check a document properly!!!!

Just don’t waste your time!!! It becomes such a stressful experience!!

They send you nuisance messages, you cannot use your phone to block them for some reason , if you send UNISTOP they will charge you and it does not work! I have reported them to the ICO today. Their site has no contact details surprise surprise, it's seems silly worrying about junk messages but they message constantly and it's annoying:(

Horrible Experience, Absolute Scam Site. If you win a Bonus feature on a 0.10p – 0.20p option, all winnings seem to be capped at around the £3 average mark. The rtp has been manipulated also, and I don't care what crap they claim. Just go on the Manufactures site for the particular slot and play it in demo mode for the same stake. And check the comparison, its absolutely insane the difference LOL.

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. Signed up with a promise of a £30 bonus if I deposited £10. Within minutes of starting playing the game a wining they blocked my account.
