Very bad experience with this betting site. Honestly just use Bet365 true professionals. Once you create account with 888 they ask you for verifications okay up to here. I uploaded everything and then I was allowed to deposit money (before you get verified you are not allowed to deposit) I deposited 35 pounds and I was logged off immediately and my account was terminated and they asked me again for further verification. I entered live chat and asked for a refund and termination of my account and they said they cant do that. I just uploaded the verifications again and I wont use that bad site again. Keep in mind I was just trying to place my FIRST BET EVER WITH 888.

Absolutely worst ever online inter action both sports betting and gaming. Problems with joining and getting free bets. Took a month to get any response. Avoid at all costs. Burn your money and derive a little light and heat cos that’s all your getting spending on 888. Their games 50 quid get 20pback. Is utterly ridiculous. Tried to close my account those links don’t work either. Only links that work are deposit. Media gangsters need banned ASAP and I work in the horse racing industry. Generally OK site, Paypal withdraws are lightening quick (minutes), which is great. But ApplePay withdraws take an age (days) which makes me think twice about using this site.If you deposit and withdraw by ApplePay, be prepared to wait for your money, and it’s very variable. Sometimes a day, other times, 3 days. . btw it’s not the card company, many other gambling sites refund by ApplePay much quicker.

It is a scam,not joking..deposited few thousand…i wanted to withdraw 240 after some wins….asked for id and card details which i provided when I registered..i send them again…it went through..after i started another withdrawal which they asked AGAIN for details…i send them again …now they rejected the withdrawal for no reason…all the time, i mean everyday i speak with support which they say that they are escalating it ….been more than a month…if i could i would sue them …at the end of the day money from our 888 accounts are ours ,no? Opened an account to enjoy Cheltenham festival as Im off work .All went well and deposited 20 to get me going . Managed to place 1 bet then got logged out saying I had to have my account verified. Uploaded relevant documents and havent heard back . Basically missed the whole festival . Might come through today but not holding my breath!!! If i could give this company no stars i would. An error meant that the didnt pay out best price guaranteed meaning i was paid out at 7/1 when the price was 14/1. Not a problem you would think, and easily rectified? Oh no! 24 hours later and despite hours of live chat still havent recieved my money. Have now been told that someone will contact me in the next few days via email!!!! To say that i am fuming would be an understatement! With cheltenham around the corner please be aware, avoid these scam artists at all costs, they are sitting on my money and refusing to give it to me. Before I begin I’ve read through these reviews and it sure seems like it’s coming from an automated reply as all replies coming from 888sport all give the same response which I suppose is to fool people that they are taking on board peoples complaintsMy late wife was a gambler. I never knew about it. Her gambling consisted of loans etc. She overdosed and died and despite being utterly devastated and grief stricken I had to find out what caused this. She had been gambling with this corrupt company 888sport. She had registered an account with a variation in her surname. At the same time she also submitted her passport and a bank statement as verification. So it took 888sport 2 days to verify the account. She was allowed to deposit. They passed the verification . I mean this is mistakes that only someone illerate could make. I later discovered that she has at the minimum 7 previous accounts registered with them. I have no idea how much has been deposited but I would say thousands. Is not checking documents for errors in a new account not what they’re supposed to be doing. I mean what else does the word verify mean. These people are trained to spot signs that someone is addicted but instead all they have done is exploit the situation. She deposited this time almost 1500. They clearly apply rules which suit themselves given any particular situation. They then tried to blame my wife stating that due to a change in details it was done to her. Not them that is expected to adhere to rules and regulations and keep vulnerable people safe from further related gambling harm.I am going to inform their regulator because something needs to be done. They don’t care about the person behind the screen or their poor families and the consequences of not checking documents or just approving them anyway. If you are gambling please think about this story and the devastation it has left behind and what lengths these betting companies will go to. Absolutely heart broken

Possibly the worst company I have ever used . Never try placing a 5 or six horse accumulator because it will be rejected. Eg. I tried placing 15x 50 pence EW doubles and 1 EW accumulator on 6 horses. The possible accumulator win was ten grand .. the doubles were accepted but the accumulator was rejected. Notice came up. The limit on this accumulator is ZERO . When you are looking at the runners for a British horse race ..it suddenly disapears because a foreign race has just started . Ad infinitum . I withdrew money from my account and left 3-50 . And that disapeared to . Nowhere to be found . 888 dont do best price ,so if you bet a horse at say . 8-1 and it wins at 14-1. You get 8-1 .. worst bookmakers in the UK apart from Ladbrokes. aaaaargh! their support is so frustrating as they don’t seem to read any email you send them carefully. I sent them a query which they failed to answer adequately several times. I asked to escalate and they said I can send it over to Manager. I did and didn’t get reply from manager but from a previous respondent and they failed to answer adequately again. I replied saying I’m very unhappy and annoyed and asked for info on their formal complaint process and the body I go to if I remain dissatisfied as they’ve not escalated my complaint as I previously requested. All they said in their reply was I can send it over to Manager again!!!!!!!

So 2 stars as I have been with 888 for 20 years. Had drinks with these guys in Ocean Village Gibraltar. Then someone corporate got greedy. I put 100 deposit & an hour later withdrew 100. Converted to $dollars for the benefit of them but 9% deducted? Got 91 back? Queried & told transaction fees. They do not buy $dollars on the bank market. They imaginary convert deposits to a $dollar equivalent. You could bet hamsters so why deduct 9%? Then got a scratch card to say I had won $5 free spin. So hey, I bet roulette red for a 50/50 chance of doubling my money? Oh no. They deduct that bet from your year cash balance & then you have to bet a a multiple of real money before you can cash out. So if you have 100 or after conversion $108 dollars & lose the $5 win. It is deducted from your real $dollar balance. So after a free bet of $5 your real money goes down. To recover you have to bet 30x times real Monet IF your $5 free bet wins. However Jackpotjoy I won 1000 with promo money & it. Was in my bank 24 hours later. 888 stop brainstorm on how to milk 20 year veterans. Back to basics of steady, loyal, customers. I have been really pissed now. I have submitted my document on this website. My id has already been verified. It took me 5 working days to get my bank statement from my bank. They have not verified my document still its been 5 days now. All the chats say its under process. The workload is too much right. Dude its just one document. I already provided the my id. I signed up today, unknowingly I triggered a 50 bonus while on the site. No information was given on the bonus and so I used it as I have used bonuses on other sites. Unfortunately I found that rather than playing with the 50 bonus funds the site first used my real money funds, the opposite of many other sites. I therefore lost 50 of my own money without being informed that I was playing with real funds (which every other site does offer warnings for). I believe 888 is a criminal enterprise with the aim of fooling customers and deceiving them to make profit. Avoid at all costs.EDIT: Was asked to contact 888 following this review to which they gave me the same unhelpful copy and pasted response that Id already received on their Livechat. The customer service experience has been horrible, the staff are poorly trained to answer your questions regarding your account, they are not aware of the promotions and the different tournaments available on the site. Keep getting the same promotion for 2 free roll even though there is only one event available, my tickets gone without an explanation, asked to speak to a manger told by the staff that a manger does not take calls on the spot. Waiting over 2 weeks for a manger call back and all I get from the staff when I call is stalling tactics and a couple blast tickets which is useless as the problem is still not resolved several days/weeks later. They need to train the customer service staff a lot better, as the ones I have dealt with there is only about 2 that knows what they are doing the rest us being paid to fill the space and give horrible customer service.Will be cutting my play time with 888 Poker and go somewhere else.

I have contacted them several times to file a dispute, and they have never responded!! The games have false pay out percentages as well as keep kicking you off to reset the game stopping you getting the bonuses.
