Absolutely horrendous. Robbing scumbags got a result with my free spins then out 5 pound in only once I deposited did they close my account and claim it wasn’t verified despite having an email saying it was in fact FULLY verified. Wouldn’t let me take any of my money out but we’re quick to take it avoid at all costs.

I love Betfair ,they are brilliant. I particularly like the in-play betting on the horse racing. They pay out quickly when I win too. If there is a gap between races I like to play on Slingo.Its just a simple bingo game but it fun.

I would give them a minus if possible, found a winner at York took 13/2′ starting price was 9/1 and expected payment on the 9/1 but was paid at 13/2 so made a complaint and was told they changed the rules in July where you now have to opt in to get best odds which to me seems madness,anyway told them to close my account which they did before refunding my balance,now i cannot access my account to request the refund and seem to end up in an Indian call centre every time i use the chat function

Could not log into my account as hadn’t used it for about three years. I have a new email and had forgotten my password. Contact support was transferred three times to different very unhelpful agents had to explain myself three times, upload documents three times was kept holding on for ten minutes at a time and in the end after an hour I was no better off. I don’t think the people I was communicating with understood my problem they were just messing me around. Useless totally useless. I’ve only given one star because I can’t give 0

Asked my son to write this reviewI wanted to increase my funds limit to 3k from 1k was asked to provide self assessment as well as proof of funds and documentation.Provided all the necessary information required explained it’s a online wholesellers companyWhen I logged in to betfair my account was suspended contacted live chat was told to wait few hours as they will review my account And then got this email below for permenetly closed When asked was asked not to message betfair support again. On live chat wrote my name and nbsp then refused to state what nbsp stands for..refused entry and stated its outside risk criteria but won’t explain what it means.No one willing to explain or help or work around this matter.As below email states this can’t be challenge not sure what to challenge if I do not even know Thank you for your co-operation to date. Upon review of your account and the documentation received, a business decision has been made to maintain permanent closure over your account, as the account has been deemed to no longer meet Betfair’s risk criteria. I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to divulge specific details pertaining to the closure as this is not made available to us. What I can confirm is that the decision was made in line with our Terms and Conditions and I’m afraid isn’t something that can be appealed. They also changed one of my bets I had and then said there is issues with the app and you should screenshot bets to prove there is a issue? Screenshot bets why would you have to do that every time.

Abysmal customer service! 72 hours and still no reply to messages. Asked for proof of address/income so I sent a monzo statement, they don’t accept those but will take a deposit from the card. Make you jump through hoops to withdraw £25. I’ve closed my account, plenty of better betting sites around.

I had £1011 taken from my Revolut card and the bank closed the investigation without investigating so I went to betfair and betfair have taken 1 week to investigate but then did nothing and closed the case, so my money is stolen, I am on GAMSTOP and my money was deposited into someone else’s account which is against there T&Cs but they won’t pay me back

Bets are suspect on this app. Use a more reliable betting app that wont use term loopholes to stop paying you out. For example a player in a bet they offer gets subbed after 20mins? They pocket your bet and say if it was 10mins we would refund you. They move the goalposts as they say.

Absolutely appalling! I had a bet which involved Kevin De Bruyne. Unfortunately, De Bruyne went off injured around the 18th minute which means he didn’t have any real opportunity to complete any part of a bet involvement.Every bookmaker I have ever used will refund/void the bet if a player on a bet builder/bet goes off injured before half time. These scammers have a different idea. One of the “customer service” agents told me that they don’t care about other bookmakers, and will con customers as long as the player is on for one second.Laughable greed. I asked for this to be escalated to management, but instead they shut me down twice not answering this query and closed the chat, transferring me to an automated tool that checks if you have any free bets, which will tell you that you don’t just to get rid of you.I’ll be closing my account and not letting these conmen have any more of my business.

Betfair allowed me to register and deposit with a 100%bonus. When I tried to place my first bet my account was closed. Live chat said that my account was closed on “business grounds”, but would not say anything else than it was the security department doing this. It was not possible to complain or talk to the security department. So Betfair just took 100€.

Oh dear ,I get the feeling that betfair maybe struggling . Not so long ago for the big horse meetings it was bet 10 pound on a horse racing multiple and get a 10 pound free multiple bet, that got shaved down to 5 pound to get a 5 pound multiple now its bet 5 pound on multiples to get a 1 pound free bet!! Best odds guaranteed is only on singles ,it’s all give less take more lol. And as for the casino ,I don’t play larger stakes on any flutter company slot as they are all pretty bad ,but I ll try a tenner ,and I don’t remember the last time I won anything ,I really think they’re struggling and just creaming off what they can ,shame as it used to be a good site

Total thief’s, you win then they suspend your account saying this is due to them needing to verify who you are, both sides of bank card provided, full UK licence all provided, gas bill provided and still they keep running around in circles. Both sides of my card needed providing as they don’t believe that natwest puts the details on the back not the front.You don’t get this rubbish with the national lottery, casinos or even with Coral. Bad? Thats actually compliment for this company. Im currently running 100 days – 100 times try challenge on their Pinball daily Jackpot /Rewards machine…….and let me tell you that past 60 tries didn’t sum up even to 20 quid in total….and this daily dame is only available for depositors …whats more I already spent with them over a grand multiple times in the past always ending up the exact same 0£ balance which I don’t mind in the end its supposed to be for gun and entertainment.I however wasn’t entertained at all, to say the least. I’ve tryed to contact you at least 50 times since 19:20 last night, your chat is unusable they have no idea what there doing, I’ve emailed every email address I can find for you and no reply I’ve called numbers I’ve found on the internet and no answer or deadline, I placed two bets on the without favourite market last night 7:10 Yarmouth, there was a withdrawn horse (odds 200/1 in normal market) my first bet you made a 50% deduction due to this withdrawn horse who was available at 20/1 in this market less than a minute before is withdrawal then my other bet you made a 35% deduction from my bet and withdrawn horse was available at 66/1 so on both markets there should be no deduction but trying to get through to you to get an explanation and someone to correct it is impossible

The platform is OK but if something goes awry the support is truly shambolic.30 minutes waiting for response. A further 30 minutes for an escalation manager. Unhelpful staff. Signed up easily, deposited easily won £20. Went to withdraw and behold my account is now suspended asking for my documents and personal details along with a picture. Didn’t have a problem when I deposited, as soon as I Withdraw….Suspension.
