The betfair exchange is still by far the best there is. No betting exchange comes close when it comes to ease of use and volume of money. In fact no betting site comes close for ease of use. They're not perfect though I don't think enough is done to protect punters from making palpable errors.

Betfair's customer service has really gone downhill, probably because they got taken over by Flutter. They do things completely the wrong way around - they approve big deposits or exposure increases BEFORE verifying people or checking if the person is gambling responsibly. Then they do all they can to screw you over. First things first: I'm completely genuine (not a problem gambler - I make money betting on politics at exchanges since the bookies restrict my stakes to amounts like 1 at a time due to winning too much, and I have a Premium Charges page. I'm definitely not a money launderer, never have shown any signs of that, and I've only ever used one Betfair account in over 15 years). Last month Betfair kept constantly emailing me asking repetitive questions about my gambling. I explained how things were fine multiple times - I was betting big at short odds on the US election *after* the result was known, so it was a super safe bet - but my account still got suspended or restricted each time. This is bad because if you want to trade in or out of open bets or have plans to withdraw, you can't do that when that happens and no notice is given. Then they started asking for documents to prove my identity and source of money. I diligently send all evidence asked for each time, and on the same day - passport/driving licence/bank statement/photo of debit card/utility bill/savings/stocks. Yet suddenly with no notice and no reason given, they closed my account. Live chat waiting times have got bad too - 50 minutes to wait to get through last time. Live chat didn't give me a reason but said that someone would contact me. A couple days later I get a request for evidence of an old debit card. I provide a bank statement with evidence of Betfair payments from it. (It was for the same bank account for the one I use now: my bank simply had sent me a replacement card.) I've still not heard back and I'm unhappy about this because it's such an unprofessional way to do business as well as unfair a way of doing things. A search of twitter finds that they've been doing this to multiple people and that it takes months to resolve even if you have to go to court. :/ I feel targeted because I know that there are real problem gamblers out there - people who lose money they can't afford but Betfair are using 'regulations' as an excuse to go after people who are clearly aren't, to try to get rid of them. It definitely feels like that Betfair are looking for any kind of reason to ban me and keep my money which stresses me out. I must say that if Betfair still don't tackle the real problem gamblers, the government will end up cracking down on the betting industry even more and I don't think I'd mind that because it makes me uncomfortable how big the gambling problem in the UK now is - I'm lucky in that I'm in control. Betfair Exchange are really, really lucky that they were first and have such a big reach which means that liquidity is better than anywhere else by a mile. They also have a wider range of markets in general. My experience has pushed me to open accounts at Betdaq and Matchbook but Betfair Exchange still has the best liquidity and more politics markets unfortunately.

In reference to my previous comments about Betfairs Exchange and Sportsbook please DO NOT under any circumstances play any of the casino arcade or slot games on the Sportsbook otherwise you will lose a lot of money and if you know someone who does play them warn them as every single game on there is rigged by Paddy Power. Since Paddy Power took over the Sportsbook arm of Betfair there have been some very suspicious patterns appearing regularly on certain games there is a game called Bounty Raid or Bounty Hunter where you receive double your stake back for hitting certain symbols the object is to hit the Bounty Hunter where the symbols can go upto x 50(so if you bet 10p per spin you would receive 5 if you bet 20p you would get 10)the problem is when you hit the Bounty Hunter you will never see a x 50 symbol you will see x 1 or x 2 symbol on numerous occasions it is exceptionally rare to hit the top symbol but when you do see it its on a spin that doesn't matter this happens all the time when you hit the Bounty Hunter. The Bounty Hunter will vary from going extremely fast during spins to extremely slow I've been in a lot of casino's and I have never ever seen a game do this they are always consistant in their speed and once the reels start to slow down that's it that is when you will start to lose and lose heavily because Paddy Power are manually adjusting the speed of the games while you are playing them to stop you winning. Casino's are casino's you expect to lose the majority of the time you play but also win on a regular basis but I've never seen anything like this you can literally go hundreds and hundreds of spins without winning a penny it is so obvious that the games are rigged and unfortunately Betfair are letting this practice go on right under their noses because they benefit they are allowing Paddy Power to fleece gamers and apart from not playing the games and boycotting the arcade there is not a lot you can do about it. When I joined Betfair in the early 2000's it was the place to be every Sports Bettor wanted to have a Betfair account in my opinion the exchange is fine its punter against punter and Betfair take a commission I have never had a problem with the exchange the odds and bonuses you receive are the best in the business but since Paddy Power came along and took over the Sportsbook there have been a lot of very unhappy customers not just with the arcade but Cash Out issues where the Cash Out option will be rendered defunct as it is suspended for long periods of time stopping users from Cashing Out. Add to that football matches disappearing totally and never reappearing along with numerous other issues in my opinion it is just not worth any Betfair user getting involved with the Sportsbook so my advice is simple DO NOT get involved with the Sportsbook at all totally ignore it just use the Exchange or even better go to another online Betting Portal because I've tested a lot of games on the Sportsbook and pretty much every single one of them is rigged you might aswell just give them your money it is daylight robbery. I cannot believe they can and are getting away with it one of the biggest Sports Betting Firms in the world Paddy Power bleeding their customers dry so go elsewhere where you know that your experience is genuine and your on a level playing field because having played a lot of games on the Sportsbook I have absolutely no confidence in the legitimacy of any of them so I would say as I have said before if you do play them you do so at your own discretion because in my experience you will lose and lose heavily over a period of time.

Got scamed like so many other on the US president election. I even called their support to make it clear that the bet was settled when the president was finally appointed by the senate. Iḿ still confuded about what grounds that betfair considers Biden as the appointed president? If there was any rule of law, the swedish consumer agency should have gotten rid of this company years ago!

1. Changed Phones. 2. Google Auth app hasn't stored my details. 3. Tried logging in, asks for Auth code from app. 4. Tried contact customer service, the only option was online chat. 5. No one answers online chat and it just continiously tells me to refresh the page, which I've done over 10 times now. Very poor experience.

Not recommending this casino. Games are scammed and freezing and catching errors just to disturb the play. In game bonuses are so ridiculous that it's funny to watch. I'm starting recording my playing as no one wou believe me if I would tell how it really looks playing on that scammed site.

Been a customer for over 10 years, never had any serious issues over that time and its still the best betting exchange to trade sports despite other entrants (Smarkets, Matchbook, Betdaq etc). Its safe, convenient, liquid and very simple/quick to deposit and withdraw. Can't vouch for the Sportsbook, but the exchange is still excellent despite the various changes over the years. The Premium Charge is annoying if you are a winning player, but they reduced commission from 5% to 2% last year.

I have won more than 75,000 just within the last 3 weeks, and guess what ?, he does not 'If you do not charge a penny for his game, you only pay him when you win! I worked my way up from 25 pounds all the way up to 135 a few years back, and I had to go through so many hoops to take out money because I was in Canada. Including Passport proof which I scanned and sent and bank account info ie. I gave them everything they asked I only had until a certain time to do it, and guess what I never recieved my money, do not trust this company EVER. THEY ARE SCAMMERS, they know that the average person will just let it go, they wont pay out , unless it's a huge number probably.

I had registered an account with Betfair a week ago and completely verified it. After two days continous winning bets , I had initiated a withdrawal request. After an hour, my withdrawal was reversed and account was closed. Contacted the support center, and was said as closure is permanant and our decision is final. We can't disclose the reason. Betfair.com is fraud. Avoid it

I bet on Trump winning Presidents race. Outcome still unknown, since many key States are in litigation over numerous allegations of election and voter fraud. The election process (including amendment 12) is far from over. There is a high probability that Tump will eventually be confirmed in January. Betfair has dropped a b*llock here. I expect the courts will force them to payout on a Trump win eventually. I shall join the class action suit as soon as it gets going - after Jan 20th most likely. What-ever happens, the damage to Betfair's rep. has been done; they have been exposed for being Communist sympathisers; and part of the deep state scam being perpetrated in the US by closet Commies and the Biden puppet.

Pathetic business involved in fraud. Obviously the owners comrades bet on Biden. Paying out a wager that has not been settled will hopefully allow class action to have betfair ALSO payout the winners when Trump is re-elected. I didnt sign up to bet on Trump being next President but being out foxed by the wording regardless of who the next president will be. Betfair made assurances after the election that they would not rule until any court action had decided who the winner was. Clearly there is still court action going on.

Deceptive and misleading practices. Placed bets on Trump to be next president. Paid out on Biden early when there was no result. Many states have contested electors and Pence has made clear he is going to throw these out on Nov 3rd. There's no way this should have been called without an official result and I will be part of a class action lawsuit to seek a fair outcome. I will not use Betfair again or recommend due to their misleading, deceptive and unfair practices.

I have bet on the US 2020 election on Donald Trump as the winner ... but on 14.12.2020, Betfair itself has announced Biden winning after "fake news" from the major media in the US ... as it has not been announced by the US government yet. I think Betfair should wait until 20.01.2021, when there is a clear official statement on who the next president of the United States will be. If Betfair does not withdraw this decision, it will harm your business in the future

OK. First and foremost, you id*ots voting on the US election lost your bets - deal with it. So you can't criticise betfair for that. However, after using Betfair for about 5 months for my lay bets and depositing well over 1000 I was majorly let down yesterday. I layed the Saturday ACCA at 50 for a 3 or so profit off Sky (I've seen Betfair actively encourage matched betting before anyone gets on their high horse about it - no need to stick up for the bookies). The cash out value on Sky was double what I put on after about 15 mins into the games so I thought I'll cash out of everything now. For some reason Betfair didn't give me any sort of cash out/trade out option for this one, so I backed the ACCA for around the same amount I layed it, which should have cancelled out my lay bet and returned my stake. Apparently not. Even after everything was settled I was left with 14 out of 65. Although the profit on the back bet was supposed to be 116 - 70 or the lay 70 - 53. So I should've ended up with either 46 or 23. But I ended up with nothing. Leaving me 20 out of pocket in total. Betfair can't do simple calculations correctly. In future I will only use Smarkets, as they have a clear and simple trade out option and pay winnings instantly, not a week and a half later like Betfair.

Betfair assured me that they would not call the USA presidential lawsuit until all legal disputes were cleared up. Believing that they would do what they said, I put another large amount of bets on Trump. Betfair deliberately misled punters and cancelled all our bets paying out Biden backers early, effectively stealing all our funds. After further investigation, it seems that Betfair has ties to some shady people involved with Scytl and the Clintons. If you are going to bet and want peace of mind, go elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusted how this company has just decided to change the bet to winner of the electoral college instead of the next president 20/20 WTH How in the hell can they close this bet when it hasn’t even been legally fricken decided yet. It’s still going through courts and if Trump does actually win and become the 20/20 American president and you placed your bet on him well sorry you have lost all your money. Listen up Betunfair if I wanted to bet on who won the electoral college bet than I would have had the option to do so on your site but I did not want to bet on that and only wanted to bet on the next American president 20/20.FULLSTOP It’s as plain as day on your site back trump to win or not. Have you lost your minds ? What are you thinking ? Have you all gone mad ? You have lost the plot ? Do you know what I’m betting on now ? I bet that after January 20th 2021 there is going to be the biggest class action case in the world’s history against Betfair and the honest Betters. Good luck Betfair

I recently bet on Trump to be the next president, I was told on the phone it would be based on either a concession by Trump or ratification of the electoral college votes. Betfair are in clear breach of their own stated terms for the USA President "Next President" market. The bet was paid out contrary to their "expressly stated terms". There was to be "certainty" of the result, which requires the closure of outstanding litigation in various levels of the justice system, including the Supreme Court, and the expressly laid our process in the 12th Amendment of the USA Constitution. This is appalling, and must be remedied should the conclusion of this "Next President" result be determined in favor of Donald Trump.

One star is generous!!!!!!!! I feel totally outraged and conned by their handling of the US Election. They have manipulated, lied to, and stolen from their customers. Not just a little bit of theft here, we are talking big big BIG bucks and they CANNOT get away with it! The bet was for the NEXT PRESIDENT, plain and simple Betfair! Your service team misadvised customers to encourage them to keep their bets in play and place more bets, you are trying to get out of this with the small print but it's a contradictory load of rubbish which changed throughout. There are sooooo many more totally immoral and ILLEGAL things you have done which i could mention but the list is too long. Total fraud and corruption. There is more than meets the eye here and you will not get away with it. NEVER BET WITH BETFAIR!

Do not use this SCAM platform. I put a lot of money in the US Presidential Market on Trump. Betfair has decided to close the market early and pay out the "Projected" winner and not wait to hear who the "Actual" winner is. They mentioned they would take into account pending Legal Action, but they have ignored their own statement. Legitimate Betting platforms like Sportsbet have paid out for Biden as the projected winner, but clearly stated that if Trump goes on to win they will pay out those who backed Trump. I have lodged a complaint with the regulator NTRC in Australia.
