Well, I was using Bettrader/BetAngel to trade, so dont using much Betfair website, anyway, why I am giving only 3 stars? Because live horse racing videos are poor most of the times. From my side, additionally I installed a satellite dish and was trading through aplication, watching satellite TV 😉 Anyway, it was good time, was making some constant profit. In the end of the day, I closed my account and move on. Thank you Betfair!

too many problems to list here notably their inability to fix live video (it's always my end apparently despite numerous people on the forum having the same issues for years. How hard can it be to live stream a horse race??). and their totally unprofessional customer support. You call and if you're lucky you get someone who speaks English as their first language but most of the time they struggle and its so frustrating having to explain slowly what the problem is. What do you mean I don't understand is a common reply. I'm sure they're taking the p***

They then tell you a manager will be in touch which never ever happens

Have used Betfair since it very first started – and let's be fair when it first began it was really good and a breath of fresh air for punters, Mark Davies was the front man and he knew how to treat people. Sadly over the years I have watched the whole service just get worse and worse, to the point now that I will be calling it a day. The "special offers" that come through are either misleading or downright false, bonus features or prizes that you can achieve…..well unless you spend a fortune you can't. The live video horse racing recently has just turned into me looking at a blank screen nine times out of ten. Some markets are not updated speedily, the phrase "user beware" has never been more true than when using this site.Yes you will get good odds on horse racing, and if that is what you want and only that then you'll be happy.
At the moment as I am typing this the site has lost all horse details for the current race at Gowran Park & the upcoming one at Beverley…sums it up really, just poor.

Re promotions I wrote to the ceo and got a call back from there management team .
I do find there promotions misleading and I had to photograph my phone to show the chat help my promotion text .
I wasted so much time for 1.50 but the management caller did apologise and thought the chat may have been handled differently .
They didn’t offer me a free bet though and I don’t think they want the small gambler as myself

Iv been useing betfair for 4 seasons and I bet on the same bet every Saturday only when football season starts. So when I went on the sight the other night I was In shock to see I had been band, on speaking to someone it appeared I had used paddy power and that is why, the thing is iv never used paddy power in my life, apparently betfair and paddy power are sister companies so what difference this makes I dont know but as iv said iv never used paddy power, so what I had to do was send pictures of all my I'd which I did and this guy said they would contact me in the next 24 hours and that was 4 days ago. I'd never one on my bets in the 4 years but stuck with them thinking one day they will come in may b I was due to win and they bailed out, that's what I'd like to think.

I wrote a review a month ago after losing on slots every single day for about 30 consecutive sessions. Honestly, the regulated reels they speak of are completely bogus. My first night years ago I won, and since, I've never had a winning night with 20 mins of game play.

For comparison, I opened a DraftKings account. 3 of my first 5 nights playing slots turned a profit over $40. Even better, their bonus reels actually hit. I kid you not, on 4 separate occasions on FanDuel/Betfair I waited 15 mins to hit a bonus reel for it to pay out between $1 and $2.50. Their payouts are a complete joke.

I had deleted their app, then gave one more chance after receiving an email that they did 15 hours of maintence to their site. It still takes me 10 minutes to log in and get verified in NJ, turning on and off wifi numerous times before it finally verifies me, another issue I never have on other apps.

There site went down for 30 minutes during the UFC event Sat night causing me to miss a winning bet. This is routine during football season and popular games as well.

Bottom line, there is absolutely NOTHING positive about using betunfair casino. Their slots pay out nothing and their app is complete garbage. They are literally robbing people of money to pay minimal fees in getting a working app. Their customer service is just as awful.

I truly cannot speak any more negatively about my experiences with them. Once a huge fan, their app, payouts, and service have become a joke. DraftKings, PointsBet, Bet MGM, Borgata, and numerous other apps I've had legitimate fair game play and no service issues. Only betfair is a constant headache. Avoid at all costs, unless you like being aggravated and donating your money.

Great odds on betfair but the live vidoes of horse racing is beyond bad, it worked when betfair first started but now it's terrible and normally i just get a blank screen. It ;s now just a point for the on course bookmakers to lay off bet's. If your looking for big odds horses then this site can't be beaten. Shame it has gone donwhill since corporate took over….

I did an in play bet in a game today. The game finished about 4.20. The bet won. At 5.40, it still hadn't been settled. I contacted their livechat to ask what was happening,. They told me their agents were 'on it' and it would be settled 'in some time'. Contacted them again at 6.45 as it still hadn't been settled. They said it would be settled 'soon'. Its 8.45 now and my account is still saying 'awaiting result'. So why lay an in play game that you can't get the result of? I got the result over 4 hours ago lol. How hard are you trying to get the result? You know, it was a winning bet 5 @ 14/5. Total return 19. I don't even want it anymore. Keep the 14 winnings and the 5 stake Betfair. It's not worth the annoyance. Not gonna spend the rest of my life being told it'll be settled 'soon'. You treat your customers with contempt. No enjoyment betting with you. I'm closing the account. Betfair used to be a good company. If there was a problem, you phoned and spoke to a human, who sorted it out. Since the take over by Paddy Power they have fallen off a cliff. Their customer service is close to non-existent. Use them at your own risk.

This companies customer service is absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Never EVER been dealt with in such a poor manner. I have 2 complaints which i am now gonna take to IBAS. I have sent photo and video evidence in for both issues. The 1st is now 5 weeks old an 996 Arcade win last night!!

Seem decent. Can only speak as I have experienced games seem a lot fairer compared to other sites sports odds decent nice layout easy to use. Firm seem very genuine on responsible gambling. Will constantly check comfortable with betting levels. Seem one of the better gambling companies

Can’t give 0 stars….

my balance transferred back to my bank account as my account was closed after I won some money.
I have tried every day for 2 weeks to speak to someone, the lack of transparency is frightening – they won’t allow me to speak with anyone other than a chat bot person who always says “your query is being dealt with and there are no updates”. I can’t get an update on when my money will be transferred, I can’t speak with a manager, I can’t access my account, I can’t get a date that the payments team will look at my request (this keeps changing on a daily basis)

I have been compliant and submitted all the documents they have requested yet they still havnt helped me.

Im 13 days in and I havnt been able to speak to anyone about this issue properly.

I have got all of the chat history saved and every account transaction saved as a screenshot and I am happy to publish these to show how neglectful you people are and how you are clearing avoiding my questions and paying out my funds.

Next step will be litigation.

Worst casino I have ever played, watch out guys they will try and do you up in anyway they can.
My story starts with me playing on the game called stallion which it’s exclusive to betfair, I get bonus award 12 free spins, during the free spins I get additional 4×3 spins,then al the sudden I get disconnected, I go back on the game and bonus gone just like that, I get in touch with customer service and they claim the can’t see any bonus been awarded to me but they you have to wait for 24h and go back on the game and it should be fine, after 24h nothing,I contacted them again asking to speak to the manager or someone in charge which they refused to do on number of the occasion with this matter, I had no other option but to close the account with them.

I've been on this site for over 4 years now and deposited 5k and won 1k back this site is a so sh.. I've played on nearly every game and the most I've won is 200 in a bonus they normally pay between 0-40 most times. I had 2 megaway bonus and 1 paid 3.12 or other paid 9.67 keep away from this site

Avoid. I usually played on sports book. If you do not turn on the feature to accept the odds change its almost impossible to place a bet while a game is on.
When you have that feature on happens that your bet will always, or over 90% of the cases, change in the site favor. The most incredible is that the odd change in their favor even if the point is not done by the player losing (which i normally bet on). The bet would have to change in your favor and is not what they do.
This is is programmed to still people.

Betfair exchange is one of the best sites for gambling on horses golf and football but after their merger with Paddy Power their Betfair Sportsbook site is the absolute pits

Betfair Sportsbook is the WORST bookie site by a country mile.Their rules are so ambiguous and pay outs on controversial events ALWAYS favour the site.Rules which are taken as "the norm" in serious gambling are ignored and never ever (not once!!) do they take one for the team so to speak like Bet365 Skybet Ladbrokes etc can ….I genuinely think the fixed odds side of the business (Sportsbook as opposed to the original Betfair Exchange) is so awful on purpose to drive business to the Paddy Power fixed odds site or the Exchange site

So I will end with a concrete example of why the site is so bad …the customer support!! Calling is "support" should be an offence against Advertising Standards!! First off it's difficult to access second they offer zero knowledge of their own rules and even when you quote their rules to them off their own page they just ignore them.The first contact know (or pretend to know) nothing about gambling in general and then the query is passed on to the mythical "traders" …who you aren't allowed to query or talk to and who ALWAYS have some obscure rule to negate the payout that doesn't exist on their rules page.To top it off it's all done slowly to the point of encouraging you to give up (sometimes you are only doing it for the principle and the sum of money is small enough to shrug it off) but most galling is the sneering tone and "get stuffed you whiner" attitude of the whole support staff …I genuinely think they are sat there laughing and talking to their "teammates" how they have just screwed someone else over and how much their cut will be because of it

I left Betfair ages ago, but today a friend of mine has learned the hard way why.
On the Macabi Netanya v Hapeol Beer Shiva match he placed a 200 back trade on under 5.5 goals after the second goal had been scored at 29 minutes. His offset lay trade was two points and nearly 130 had been matched when Betfair suspended the market at 31 minutes. The market was not restored till after 50 minutes (meaning 35+ minutes including stoppage and half time)! A goal had been scored at 41 minutes, so my friend would have fully traded out by then. Further goals at 56, 77and 83 minutes meant my friend lost over 70 because of Betfairs incompetence. So anybody wanting to try Betfair, DON'T, there are plenty of other providers to try.

Signed up on Sunday afternoon. Didn’t take a bonus (couldn’t see one). Just deposited 40. Account was automatically verified by there KYC procedure so I didn’t need to send any documents.
Ended up winning 800 after spending about 20 on millionaire megaways slot. Withdrew 700 of it played the rest out but didn’t win much more so withdraw.
That evening I reversed the withdrawal as wanted to play some more. Spent about 100 of that and ended up winning another 377 on millionaire megaways again. So withdrew 900 in total.
Payments are processed after 24hours.
So Monday night my payment was processed just now have to wait for it to hit my bank.
They have good amount of games to choose from too.

BetFair is by far the single worst online casino for slots I have ever used. You will never win. Ever.

Every other app I use, I lose more than I win on slots, but there are winning nights mixed in. It is never fun on betfair because the money is gone in minutes. Wins are small percentages of your bet given back. "Bigger" wins are gone several spins later.

I have played over 30 nights during this lockdown, and not one night have any of the games turned a profit. Only one spin in total hit anything substantial ($30?) But was gone minutes later.

The worst is slingo deal or no deal. The higher amounts are rigged to come off the board early. I recently played 5 games in a row where the top dollar amount came off the board on spin #1 LOL. Losing is one thing but they ever even make the games fun. Rarely do you get a night where you can actually play for more than 20 minutes even doing the minimum spins because they take it so fast.

I only really use the exchange as other parts of Betfair group are heavily weighted against the customer. Even here I have been very disappointed with their conduct recently though. Several times I have had winning trades just to find that Betfair cancel them after the match settles. It really is out of order, they just make up the rules as they go along. To add insult to injury I also made a single error and even though on a bookmaker this would be considered a PALPABLE error Betfair CUSTOMER SERVICE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me an so I've forwarded this to IBAS to investigate as I definitely feel it was unfair and against their own T+C's not to VOID the bet in question. Horrible company, the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. Placed a bet and logged off. That night someone has hacked my account and cashed out the bet and placed it against my original bet. When I realised what's gone on I contacted betfair who said they will run security checks which took the whole of 2 minutes. To which they replied no unauthorised access can be seen on the account and they won't be returning any of my money, even though when I checked the devices what have been on my account its showing 3 or 4 different ips from different places. One of them logged in the day I placed the bet, one that night and another the day my bet was won. Closing my account. They never done anything wrong as such but there are much better sites out there even in terms of UX. Odds are not even decent on sports. Hardly ever get a bonus. There is nothing personal about their service either. So what's the point in playing there? None.
