Do not use Betfair! We want to withdraw money from our online account with Betfair. We provided all the information Betfair have requested multiple times via their chat messenger service and to 2 different email addresses they asked we send bank statements to. Betfair have not responded to the emails. The (AI) chat messenger service cuts us off and there is no other way to contact Betfair. The customer service is atrocious. And there is no way for us to withdraw our money.

After using them for quite a while they locked my account mid game and asked for lots of information I could not give or was uncomfortable sharing, so they stole my deposit and ALL my winnings. Told me on security questions I had got my father’s name wrong?? Told me my bank account was 3rd party even though it had my name on it. Citizens card id not good enough even though it recogonised by law, bank statement wrong format even though it is clearly shows proof of address and bank details and time of deposit. VERY DODGY

They refuse to provide any clear answers or resolve the issue, which makes me fear this might not be an isolated case. I would strongly advise anyone to **be cautious** when dealing with Betfair, as their lack of transparency and refusal to release my funds has caused unnecessary stress and financial harm.**Conclusion**: **Avoid Betfair at all costs**. What a joke company. Sportsbook is a complete joke and even though I’ve only had a few bets on sportsbook and have lost, the maximum bet is to win about £100 max. Even odds on tennis bets restrict to £80 or around there. What’s the point in having sportsbook if they are pushing for you to use exchange so they can take their commission. The people in charge of this Mickey Mouse company are conmen and lucky they hide away like little girls

So far so good. Returning customer who had problems with his last provider. So tried Betfair again. No problems updating address and reactivating account.Not forced the horrid deposit limits on or even asked me to set them which I will not. Never used these new fangled tools nor ever will.I am a strong willed person who has his own safety checks in place. Like I cannot get at my savings without 90 days notice. Also have a sperate bank used just for investments. Be it betting or buying shares.

Hopeless. Deposited a small amount for a bet and received an “unknown error” message. Live chat were spectacularly bad, asking me for bank details and screenshots…they took my money easily enough but unwilling to help or have someone call me to resolve it. Never going near this cowboy outfit again and nor should you.

The app is awful.Won a bet fair and square and wasn’t paid out properly. Got in contact with customer service and told me it was a ‘late bet’ despite the bet being placed 30 mins before kick off. There boosts also don’t work as some customers get £20 max stakes while mine only gets a £2 max. Far better betting sites i’ve never had a problem with out there. Don’t bother giving these thieves your money

Dont Trust this website they can suspend your bet just because they like . Matches can go on normally you can even bet them again but your cash out is suspended not matter winning or loosing.If you wanna play online bet with cash outs dont choose this site they can damage you easilly!As well you can have winning bet go to cash out and they change the price dramatically in a milisecond so the moment you double tap the price the second tab they drop and you cash out tottaly deferent ammmount event all your bets are winning witch make no sense support cannot do anything about it carefull this website is horror movie with your money!

Mostly fine but their customer service people are woefully undertrained for anything except basic queries. Exchange customers with experience should get better support. They also make margin calls of 100% on some antepost books, which ought to be illegal. My cash balance regularly goes negative as a result of unannounced changes in the rules.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative asked me, “Why?” a question I found incredibly frustrating. Despite my repeated requests, Raheem insisted that I needed to provide my birth certificate just to speak with a superior. This raised an immediate red flag, why would a company require additional forms of ID merely to escalate a complaint? I eventually gave him the birth certificate however I was denied the chance to escalate the matter.To top it off, I was informed that their team would get back to me, but could not provide a timeline. It’s outrageous that in this day and age, a company can leave customers hanging like this. This experience raises serious questions about the effectiveness and transparency of their support system, leaving me… and likely many others… feeling neglected and frustrated.UPDATE: I contacted again and Mohammed was the best and was able to resolved all my issues. my account is reactivated and verified all at once. Updated privacy policy with no disclosure they have updated it. Website footer updated with no disclosure they have updated it. Betfair are not a company , it’s a website only and the Betfair companies listed as having licences belong to Flutter entertainment. All companies became jointly owned with paddy power in 2016 when they merged. Betfair group PLC merged with paddy power PLC to become Flutter entertainment but your still led to believe that Betfair is a company of its own as they merged but kept it without even changing its name!. The new privacy policy confirms Flutter are using your data across all their brands and your terms and conditions even allow all brands to access your account! This won’t help them to use your data to prevent problem gambling they will use it only for commercial gain and tell you that safer gambling controls required on Betfair don’t apply to paddy power etc, if you haven’t been notified of the new privacy policy (date shown as last updated was 2018 which is wrong. Was updated after 25/7/24) contact a solicitor. If they haven’t abided by social responsibility licence requirement then ignore their terms denying liability and report them to the gambling commission.

Lia took the query, investigated, disabled it from the backend and gave clear instruction how to proceed. 4 years and not verified even after sending all id, passport, driving license,bank statements, bank card front and back letter of residence, utility bills….etc anything you can think of they ask for it….then they disappear. When they finally email you back they ask for the same thing all over again been doing these for the past 4 years. I think is a bot not a real human behind the scene all along i’m interacting with a bot. The feeling i’m getting is a program relooping itself.

Have been depositing and loosing for ages and they never got in touch to check what is up.Yesterday made a deposit of 100 and luckily won around 3k and decided to play on with some of that money.
