Took 4 grand from my savings and closed my account. I was clearly foolish enough to waste 4 grand gambling on this site which clearly wasnt in my favour, but I was down so I shouldve been allowed to stop when enough was enough. I felt they took my money and then didnt give me the opportunity to try and win it back. I wasnt in the right frame of mind at the time and just needed to win something to make up for the loss of many other things. No call, no text, no alert to tell me I was going in above my head, just took an awful lot of money, money I didnt have and closed my account without warning when I was truly desperate to win something. I have been with many sites, and although Ive never had a problem, as I know when to stop, the other sites I have joined in the past seem genuinely concerned when I go a bit mad, this company on the other hand just took my money and threw me to the gutter, thats how I feel. I feel so down about it. Absolutely appalling

Awful I put an accumlator on still got teams on but they keep altering the bet was ment for a team of 13 for 3,300 then altered it down to 1,416 now altered it to 849 really disappoint as with a confirmed bet the prices should not change will not be returning after the accumulator is finished

Very slow doing things. South African racing more markets with place odds and insurance etc come up one race at a time about 5 minutes before each race. So impossible to use. Why wouldnt they just have it up for the card. Pain in the a.. to use

You win some you loose some! Slots provide good payouts. Spin King bonus does not come up as much as other bookmakers but Betfred seem to offer better returns. All good fun. Will only gamble what I can afford to loose.

Only giv 2 stars not due to wins because it lacks wins. Its constant take. Iv give it 2 stars due to the daily promotion which is worth checking daily in casino tab. The free spins. Iv only ever won 5 and when i deposit won 10. Says you can win up 100 so we will see. But its definatly worth checking i dont always get spins but atleast 3/4 times a week i do.

Used the sign up offer, where you should receive a free bet when you spend 10, and now theyve refused to pay. When queried, one advisor said the funds will be with my by the afternoon. When they didnt arrive, chased again, the adviser was very abrupt saying youll have a verification email before they release them. Now theyre asking for passport details, utility bills, photos etc. just for a free bet. Yet nobody is willing to answer the question about security when holding these details! I will never use this company again!

When i signed up i never knew you had to give extra details to get your bonus for signing up for an online account. If i knew that in the first place i wouldnt of opened it because ive had nothing since signing up. Never seen anything in your ad or t/c’s saying this???

Deposited 4000, placed a bet. Moments later my account gets blocked. I win the bet and now theyre refusing to release the funds 4800 into my bank account. They keep asking me to send different documents and I do each time but still nothing. Is this normal?

My son gambled all his wages and he’s only 17 he managed to use a old account that wasn’t used for years. And register his own card. Which he has the same name as my husband. And he didn’t even know the password. He used forgotten password every time and still they didn’t pick up on this. Great security system fair play.

I write a review before Christmas, I was in a differnt part of the UK so I thought I’d try ine of the shops, it camt be as bad as the one in basingstoke as its the poorest bookmakers I’ve ever been in ( what you get when it’s run by kids) and it’s still the same dosent matter where you are in the UK all betfred shops are the same. Staff have no clue on wjat there doing, just there to pick up there wages, constantly on their phones,making up your bets payouts off the top of therir heads even if ypu proveit on a bet calculator, the poorest customer service I’ve ever had with a book maker. you then complain following all procedures ( betfred make ypu jump through several hoops to make it hard on purpose and you still get the same autated service ) clearly betfred do not care about their clientele, its a joke of a book maker. Best bet anyone can make is that betfred will be out of business within 10 years, they will still find a catch out of it.More for me giving betfred another chance, never again, there are so much betting companies out there then betfred! Betfred, you are a joke, the laughing stock of the betting industry.

Stay well away from their gaming sites, they are a complete and utter rip off. Refused my request to have free bets I was entitled to rejected because of terms not listed in the offer. That’s illegal. Will hopefully cash out my money and then never touch these scam artists ever again. Bankruptcy is in their future, hopefully.

Betfred fails to safeguard customers then block your account. They say they are following UK gambelling pecedures but this is false. Take them to small claims court as many others are. Don’t give up!! Ibas and gambelling commission can’t get your money back but they can fine better. small claims court is the way to go

Stop playing at Betfred, they are scammers. They failed to protect me when i was vulnerable, they let you lose crazy amount of money then block you, they didnt check if could afford losing the money. I already started a court case against them, Gambling Commission already fined them for that, and i have full support from them in court.Everyone that has been scammed or not beeing properly protected and not asked for affordability checks , should complain to gambling commission and take them to small claims court, if enough people do this, they will get their license revoked, as they already been fined a couple of times

Was allowed to open a second account with Betfred after my first account was closed. Was able to deposit over 5000 over a 2 week period without any verification or source of income. I have a gambling problem, I can admit that. The fact that Betfred allowed me to open a second account after the first one was shut I believe is criminal. I have since signed up to Gamstop. I will continue to make more and more noise about this until Betfred accept responsibility that I should never have been able to open a second account.

Goliath bet doesn’t work. 5p stake is too high as potential returns are high, but 4p stake is too low?? Impossible to place one on decent size odds Too many unnecessary bet types available App and website crashes far too often
