I was quite disappointed with my experience. I live an hour away from the nearest Neptune store, so I called ahead to confirm that the paint I wanted was in stock. However, when I arrived, I discovered that only 2.5-litre tins were available, priced at £48 each. I needed 7.5 litres, so I ended up paying £144 instead of the £128 I would have spent on a 5-litre tin (£80) and a 2.5-litre tin (£48).The store offered to order a 5-litre tin for me, but that would have meant wasting my trip and paying more for delivery, so I reluctantly paid the higher price. To add to my frustration, the store had a Christmas promotion: spend £150 and get £30 off. Unfortunately, no one informed me about this offer at the time. I realised later that I could have spent a little extra to benefit from the discount.Additionally, while free mulled wine and mince pies were available in the store, we were not offered any. My husband had to ask about them, which felt awkward.Overall, this was not a great customer service experience, and I feel like we ended up overpaying for our paint.

Love this store, visit frequently for Interior inspiration, invaluable advice and amazing customer service. The store is beautifully presented, so much so I never really want to leave. Most recent visit was for their Christmas market and it was lovely to see local crafts in a relaxed non sale pressured environment. Will be back very soon

I love everything about the Neptune store in Canterbury. From my very first experience to present day. The staff are an absolute pleasure always greeted with an hello, and a smile. My recent purchase was handled perfectly and the member of staff guided me through each process including when I might expect delivery. The Montague bar stools arrived and they were unboxed for me by the very pleasant driver. I checked the stools whilst the driver waited. The driver took all the packaging away for me. They were perfect in every way and are now in my kitchen and I am delighted. Thank you and will be visiting again very soon

We had an excellent experience from start to finish with Neptune and we are very happy with the end result.The project started with design concept, on-site visits, planning, etc, and we were kept in the loop at all times. Nothing was ever too much of a problem, being encouraged to take our time over choice of style, layout, colours and timescales. This all made for a relaxing process and gave us a feeling of confidence in what was promised. For example, this included changes to colours and work surfaces which would probably frustrate many a supplier!Once we had sorted the whole area ready for the dry fit (completed perfectly by Steve Matthews from Warmflow and his team), the Neptune installers did a fabulous job, whilst working in what must have been the hottest days of the year – great stamina! Any large fit involves various small niggles, and these were always ironed out with the least fuss and we were kept abreast of timescales at all times.The final result has given us a kitchen of high quality that will clearly last the test of time, something Neptune feel confident enough to supply a lifetime guarantee for.We have a bespoke personalised kitchen that WE wanted, and not that as desired by a designer – this was very important to us.Special thanks (in no particular order) must go to the Project Manager Ian, and Sarah, the Design Assistant in the Guildford branch. Bryn, Karl and Ollie from Eleven Oaks fitted everything, and Tom put the final touches together including the decorating. They were thoroughly professional and we would rate them as highly recommended.We are delighted customers.

Store very well laid out, stock presented in a very attractive way., found things I didn’t know I needed! Staff very helpful and were able to give me advice on colour schemes and furniture for my rooms. Having recently moved into a new house this was very useful.

Beautiful Christmas baubles. I bought x 9 of the papier-mâché Christmas baubles. These are beautiful quality and came each individually boxed within a couple of days of placing the order. Highly recommend.

The emulsion paint is very good. My favourite in fact. After fully decorating a number of houses and using many other brands the only one that’s come close has been Dulux Heritage paints. The current project has been exclusively painted in Neptune.Shipping is hit and miss, sometimes waiting much longer than advertised which always causes issues when in the middle of a job.The eggshell paint is water based and while it’s easy to work with as it has low odour, it takes so many coats to get a good coverage and chips far too easily once dried. Used different colours/batches in different areas and it’s no where near as good as Dulux, worth keeping in mind if using in high traffic areas.

I visited the Christmas market at Neptune Farnham today where everything was beautifully presented, with artisans keen to talk about their products. Great ambience in the lovely premises with live music from a local singer songwriter and really helpful staff.

I love Neptune and have shopped there on numerous occasions. However, this time the sales assistant was very snooty and unhelpful when we needed help with buying a lampshade. It was only when a colleague came over to support her did she become less aloof and a bit more helpful. I made my purchase but it was not an enjoyable experience.

I bought two medium Athena lamp bases and two 28″ Oliver warm white shades after seeing one on display in the Winchester store. They are stunning and worth the considered price. They have really useful dimmer options on the switches which I wasn’t expecting. I love visiting Neptune Winchester (and Bath) I love how it’s like walking into a very stylish home, and being able to see how things look in a room setting. The staff have become like old friends and are always very welcoming and helpful. I ordered the lamps in store and picked them up from the store 2 weeks later as promised. I have bought many things from here and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality and value for money.

The two delivery guys who bought our Suffolk sideboard did a superb job, it was unpacked and assembled very efficiently and the explained the feet adjustment should it be needed, great credit to Neptune. Thank you.

Store very helpful with ordering a TV cabinet. We had to wait quite a while for delivery but there were no problems and the cabinet was delivered in the timescale given by Neptune. Delivery men were very pleasant and polite – removed packaging, placed cabinet where we wanted it and gave us additional information in case we had any problems. As always great service.

We ordered our Neptune kitchen from Neptune Global Village in Dublin in 2019. Despite having to return a couple of lamps for shoddy workmanship, we were pleased with the finished kitchen. The office staff (Deasy and Karol) were particularly helpful.One problem occurred that I should have dealt with at the time but let it go. That problem was the use of the old style magnetic door closures on the bespoke cupboards we ordered. The old style ones have leather pads while the new type are rubber which close much more quietly and were installed on our non bespoke cupboards. I thought we could put up with the clunking noise but it has become very irritating so I contacted Neptune Global Village in Dublin recently to ask whether they could send me just the rubber pads. They said they don’t supply just the pads and I would have to purchase the whole part which isn’t cheap for 4 cupboards (10 catches). I wasn’t happy with that response so contacted Neptune UK but they referred me back to Neptune Dublin. Unfortunately the original office staff from 2019 don’t seem to be there anymore. So all in all I think a company that claims to offer a premium product should treat their customers better if they want repeat business. I appreciate that I should have dealt with the matter when the kitchen was installed.

I am over the moon with my table, chairs and console table. I also had the best advice from a lovely lady in the Bath store when choosing my chairs to go with my table. I have the smallest space to furnish and the help and advice I was given was excellent.

I love Neptune and the service at my local shop in Bury St Edmunds is great. However, having bought a very large discontinued vase there recently, I wanted to buy another 2. I was advised to speak to the outlet store in Swindon who confirmed that they had a few in stock. I was surprised and disappointed that they wanted to charge nearly 40% more for exactly the same vase that I had bought locally and wouldn’t match the price I had paid last week. Not the service I would expect from such a high-end shop.

The delivery time is just too long, had to wait over a week for delivery. There is not an option to track it either! Rather poor service and think Neptune should review this aspect.

We visited the store just outside Chester and were greeted by staff who made us coffee and helped us to view and understand the range. We purchased two lamps and were given all the information we needed on the items we were interested in. This was followed up by emails thanking us for our purchase and gave us details of the items we had shown interest in. Overall a great experience.

As we have said before quality and value cost a premium but with Neptune it’s worth it. Whe we bought are first house in 1969 we bought mainly Danish furniture. Now we we buy Neptune. Need we say more. Thanks Mike Robins.

Really helpful advice on design from Alessio Bestetti. Neptune handled everything seamlessly from beginning to the end, and we have a wonderful flawless kitchen. We re-did our house, and this was by far the smoothest experience we had. Everything was delivered at the highest level of quality. As a result, we ordered other furniture from Neptune.

I recently visited the store for a food demonstration by the wonderful Becky. This is my second time of attending a food demo. I was disappointed that this year we weren’t given a glass of Prosecco and only offered water to go with our meal. It was a really nice touch last year and certainly got everyone chatting whereas I think this year people were more reserved. The food as always was delicious and I shall definitely be giving it a go at home, another little comment, my recipe card was photo copied whereas my friend had a proper printed card. As we had booked months in advance Neptune should really know the numbers needed.In saying that this is my favourite store, the staff are always super welcoming and very helpful.

I took delivery of a chest of draws a few weeks ago. I have been trying not to mind but, I am becoming I very unhappy with the draw closing mechanism of the top draw. It does not run smoothly on the runner to close and has to be pushed when it should glide at the first touch. I have decided not to accept this. The cost of the draw set was over £700 & the quality is not good enough I am getting in touch with York Neptune store where I purchased it tomorrow.

Neptune are a lovely company to deal with. From the people working in the showroom to the delivery men you are always made to feel that your purchase is important to them. They kept me informed about my delivery every step of the way and the delivery of our beautiful new bed went without a hitch.

The side table was as expected as I have purchased from this range before. However, the glass does have a tiny scratch which is disappointing. My main issue is the white glove delivery service. The item was unwrapped on the road and then brought into the house. The table was extremely dusty and the glass completely smeared. On my previous purchases the furniture was carefully unpackaged in the house and presented beautifully. It would seem that not all the delivery drivers follow the same format. Like my previous purchases, I paid full price for this item so the delivery service should not have been as it was. Disappointing.

Where do I start! The experience I had in store from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was incredible. I ended up purchasing all of my Christmas decorations even though my husband wasn’t too impressed but was impressed about the quality at least! I will definitely be visiting again soon! Love this website – have bought several items – rugs, storage baskets, log baskets. Very good quality. Brilliant return policy – bought a log basket and my measurements were wrong, it was way too big. Filled out the return form, next day got a phone call from courier they picked up and got my email confirming my refund within days. So easy to do.

The ladies at your Cheltenham store were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I purchased candles in store but had two large trifle bowls ordered on line. The items arrived two days later – a very efficient service!
