I only bet in fivers because i am now 70 and drawing a pension. I used to but in the shops but i just cannot get around like i used to. I opened an account with betway because of their high stars. I usually had about 3 bets a day at a fiver. Some days nothing when i was down at the hispital. After around 6 months i had 80 quid in my balance. The wife needed a new hoover so ia i want to withdraw my money. What a polava. They wanted personal details from me before they would send my money. I told them i was just an old man betting in fivers and only wanting my 80 quid. They would not budge. How embarrasing for them. All this cafuffle just me me. My wife is now 77 and she is very worrried about me sending personal stuff in. I wish i had stayed in the shops now. I am only betting peanuts so i reslly dont know how the rest of their customers go on. I am beginnung to think there 5 star reviews are fake.

I notice all the other bookies have a few hundred reviews on Trustpilot. Betway have 10 thousand. That isnt suspicious is it. What a total crock this company are.

I see below they're trying to get bad reviews removed. So paid for great reviews are fine but truthful bad reviews get reported. You have to be the worst bookmakers I ever wagered with. Try and get this one taken off and I'll go on every social media platform and tell the gambling commission

I think it's superb that since they were exposed for paying for reviews they can't spam it with 5* excellent reviews and hide bad ones so what you're saying are the real views of people

I have to laugh when I see their PR man on horse racing telling everyone how they're seen money for this horse and that horse when in reality they don't lay a bet

They shut down my account for no reason at all. I’ve tried to contact them on there “customer help line” which is a complete joke. When I ask about my username they reply with the wrong one. I had over $500 in my account now I can’t even get a hold of them.

Limiting account is one thing it's done by all betting websites. But closing account with money will haunt your company I see reviews here daily no big sites like bet365 or others do it people will fear Reading on internet before opening account. Please improve you loose more than you gain. I am pretty sure I have reached few thousands of people and atleast 100 might have not opened account watching my review on YouTube.

Hello, i don't believe i have exhausted anything as i have never got a fair chance to prove my innocence cause my questions are never answered. It feels like robbing you have taken away my own deposited hard earned money 30000inr forget the winnings which was 105000 inr. And when i try to prove my innocence I just get one line reply of rule 7 and when i say i haven't violated it i am being told my documents are in dispute. Please put some effort of communication in my case i seriously don't get it when i was told my account is verified and i will get my money even did a call verification. How can you say my documents are in dispute and even if they were in past for any reason why can't you come to agreement when i am sending my documents in every mail i am communicating with. I had sent my documents like 10times can you please be specific which id is in dispute and why. Below i have put my past case and response in brief and my reply about it. Why when you reject my driving lisense and passport don't give me proof that where you checked it that it said invalid. How is it invalid just give a screenshot of where you checked then I will never bother you even again. All i ask is for a screenshot of my documents showing you invalid please show me on which site you are checking it. I am ready even for home verification. You can send your staff to my home i will verify myself. If not i can come to your place please tell me your office adress in India. If you still decide not to give me my account back even after proving so much of my innocense please its a kind request i dont want to do anything with your website. Just send me my deposited money which was 30k have your money i have no greed for your money. But please give me back my deposited money if you can't reopen my account despite proving every proof of my innocence.

And please don't give me automated reply please just send me the proof why is my documents in dispute. And if they were for any reason in past they why don't you sort it out by asking them how can they deny documents they ask for upon registration, those that can be checked online including passport and dl which are international ids infact Indian driving lisense in valid driving lisense in most United nations country. Show you have a clue and they limit you straight away and then looking at the replies on here just say things like " industry standard" or "senior management decisions not made lightly" or quote terms and conditions

Its a shame they never go industry standard prices. Look at soccer or golf odds on comparison website and you'll see they are dreadful

Oh and they DO make it difficult to get in touch. You have to click numerous pages to get info and contact them and live chat is no use. Every other firm has live chat easy to reach not hidden away

Then I got an email saying I was no longer eligible for the promos!!! Why send them me and then stop when I used them??? Ridiculous

This is Scam Company if you think you can get your winning amount it's totally wrong thinking. When I going to withdrawal my money its near about 7k they asking me my id and address proof I send them my I'd and Address proof also. After 2 days they again ask me my address proof. I send them again.. Next day I chat with live person he told me your documents are fully verified you can get your money as soon as possible.. I feel relaxed.. Next day I got a email from verification department that my account is permanently blocked and they are not going to release the money.. Now you think guys they can easily take deposit without any objection. But when you go to withdrawal the same money they required lots of documents from you to prove it you are the same depositor.. Its mean they want you won't able to take you money any how from them.

Give this site a bad review as i was was drunk and upset about a bonus not being awarded. Turned out to be my fault, through cashing out with 2 minutes left and the team 2-0 up lol (impatient wee s#it) Wasn't allowed to cash out even if game was basically over.

Anyways … they offer a nice selection of bonuses and have a nice site to go with it. Fair wagering. I won't be using them anymore as i like to use cash only. I had too many accounts and now i've kept only two. This site was a tied third but had to go over others. I will be back here playing again if i want a change.

Be careful everyone , they are very bad in terms of verifying you. When it comes to this politics they are very strange. I sent bank statement and it was under 3 months and they rejected it with driving license. Then I sent driving license and passport and keep asking me to get verified,they do not care guys. I opened my account cause i saw a promotion which said 30k bonus when you deposit 30k but after i deposited 30k i didnt got my bonus i had to chat with many of their representatives to get it added. At start i lost but then i won 104000 inr approximately $1500.

I had only withdrawn 1000 inr but never got it in my neteller account.I contacted their support and they asked me to send verification documents. I send them all my documents in many emails which were adhaar card, driving lisense, passport, utility bill and bank statement. Then i was told i need to complete call verification. I did that too and on call verification i ansewered everything correctly and i was told i will get my money soon i am verified. I kept waiting but no sucess by this time my account was also locked then closed and all my winnings 104000 excluding unsetelled bets disappeared.
I was told i had violated 7.1 of their rules which has over 20 things written in it but even after repetedly asking i was not told which rule i violated they told me even we are not informed of that information on senior department knows it. I mean seriously they took my deposited money 30k and winnings but wont even tell me why. After sometime i became hopeless cause they stopped replying or i was getting automated reply telling same thing. So i started thinking what i did wrong. I thought a lot and came to conclusion i was rude to them and called them cheat and fraud thats why they are treating me badly so i decided its best i apologise. What else can you do with your money being stuck on a online website that operates abroad and with betting being illegal(sort of) in India there isn't even a leagal option that can be taken. So i apologised to them 3 times and waited. I waited for 2 months but still didn't got any positive response.

So now i thought its not gonna work maybe i failed somewhere to put my case and realzed i might have done 2 things that might have caused this one was the fact that i used public wifi on metro which i use 4hrs a day and being public there is a chance someone else too on betway might have used it. And secondly my address was slightly different on all ids i have sent them too which i gave them explanation too that here in India things don't work like UK the address migh be slight different on different id this is because same place is pronounced differently too, or has more than one name for example – Chirand and Chirandanchal are same District is also in short spelled as DIST and Chaprapo is also called Chapra and more.

I don't have much hope with betway cause mostly i get automated reply from them i doubt its even a human replying. But my case is open any positive news i will surely share.

But i don't want anyone to go through this torure so i have uploaded a video of my betway review which has around 2000 views already i hope it gets more not only this i am in process to make collaboration with 2 one big and one decent youtube channel with 128000subs and 28000subs. My goal is to reach many people specially Indians so they don't fall for any bonus and lose their money.

Its really sad and unbelieveable despite sending driving lisense which they themself ask during registration for quick approval cause it can be checked online by anyone and specially passport which is biggest International identity proof surely can be checked online they didn't verify my account. This site is one of the lowest of the low. They wouldn't even let me close my account for life, in case i choose to play with them again. Lots of fake offers on show and if lucky enough to be awarded, your account will be restricted shortly after by the looks of it.

Hello my account is alexcosmin1990, i used betway for a while and after i won little over 600 pounds with a 300 deposit my account been limited and restricted for betting, requested withdrawal, sent my gov id, passport, driver licence, bank statement.
They after requested me a bill on my name wich i cant provide as i explained them clearly i cant provide bills as i moved in uk 1 year ago and the bills are on my girlfriend name, i told them i only have my driver licence and my bank statement. They keep rejecting me saying they need utility bills or credit card statement… How can i send them a credit card statement if i have a debit card and i sent you my bank statement and my driver licence!

Had a football accumulator last night in cup games and couple of others day before ..11 teams 10 was winning one drawing the bet was for 6600 off 5p !! Went to cash out constantly but one game wud suspend then another unable to cash out at all ..ended up with nothing …sent a email to customer service who fobbed me off with rules ..let me tell u skybet never suspended game like u did ..it's a rip off don't get them your money ..I won't give another penny …and belive me put few hundred in..they said it's 3rd party ..I don't pay 3rd party I pay you ..disgusting service and you never win …sky bet n paddy power much better …

Live chat are unhelpful at best. Also, even though they offer bonuses its not a good idea to take them as they end up severely restricting your use of the account. As other reviews have stated, don't trust all of the good ones as Betway have bribed people to leave them and as i understand, are now being investigated for it. There are plenty more helpful, honest and trustworthy betting sites that can be used instead.

Terrible. Chat service is hard to find. When you do get through on chat, slow to reply. The reason I contacted them was to speak about their first past the post rules. They don’t pay out on first horse past the post. I’ve never heard of a bookmaker who doesnt do that ever. So even though my horse won the race it’s been settled as a loss. Madness.

I won a good size bet. Blocked account made me jump through hopes to claim. Then made me wait 3 months before they paid out… Then they shut the account… This firm only wants bets that loose. Do not trust or use… Stay well away very poor…

Betway is definitely one of the better sports betting websites I've used. The interface is easy to use, plenty of sports markets are offered and the promotions are pretty good too.

The odds are competitive with the other top bookmakers and customer support staff are helpful if you ever need them. Generally an all round good bookmaker.

Betway is a good betting platform. Any offers I've had are always credited quickly and depositing/withdrawal is always a smooth experience too!

Awful experience, poor customer service and ridiculous policies.
Had to chase free bets after completing promotions, had my account restricted because I won a bet and they make it as difficult as possible to withdraw your money. Constant problems and the help desk are friendly enough, but their only answer seems to be "we are not privy to that information". Use Coral instead.
