Betway Review

I joined betway and then read reviews here. I decided to try to withdraw funds without gambling on anything just to prove reviews wrong. You guessed it!! I have sent a copy of my passport 4 times and with the promise to get back to me within 24 hours on each occasion I have heard nothing. The gaming commission on Malta do not include an email address. Has anyone else got in touch with Malta or the gaming board in Britain. I will let you know how I fare. In each acknowledgment of receiving my passport they advise me I may gamble away pending proof of identity. They accepted my money without any identity verification but will not return it although I have not gambled at all.

The money in my balance was used to place a bet without my consent. It came up in my transaction receipt but when I checked the list of bets I made it was empty and my balance had been withdrawn. They kept telling me to refresh but I tried still nothing. I'll update on how it goes

I would of gave a 5 star rating to betway before the 5th of January 2021 but as of today I don't want to give them any stars what so ever .So on the 4th or near there I made a withdrawal of 100 of which I have made withdrawals before with not one but of hassle but on after withdrawing the 100 i kept thinking it's about time to be in my account, still nothing I have contacted live chat so many times every day nearly till to date and first they said they had paid it into my account on the 5th January and to give 1-2 days for it to reflect but the date is now the 14th and still nothing after contacting them everyday and sending bank statement screen shots which at the time I was not told they need to be pdf format so off I go again live chat sent pdf still nothing then I spoke on live chat and the lady looked into it and said it was paided in on the 12th of January and that was the day I was talking with the lady. she then said give it a couple of days which I have I asked what time was it processed she said 14:45, so I said ok I will wait , got up the next morning and I received an email sayin they need pdf of bank statements I got back on live chat and that lady also said yes it was paid in on the 12th January give it a couple of day to reflect it has only been 24 hours I said yes I was going wait but just received the email about wanting bank statement s again . I said shall I ignore the email then she said rest assure your withdrawal has been paid , but if in two days it doesn't show then I suggest you send the bank statements , I reply but you and the lady yesterday has said it has been paid on the 12th of January and I have already sent pdf format of my bank statement so it either has or hasn't been released they can't be a maybe it has. It has so got my back up and so frustrating I even took a photo of my banking app and sent them that which is full proof with what went in to betway and what came out from betway to my account . which is nothing 00000 it has been 2 day nearly and still nothing .Never I have a problem with any withdrawals from them before so why now , I even got on a live chat with my bank and asked was anything pending and they said nothing at all was pending or gone into my account , Betway you need to stop all the lies or whatever it is you a doing as there seems alot of other people experiencing the same thing. soon you will have no one using your site , I will have to take this further if nothing is solved and soon , I have took screen shots of the convocation on live chat to stating it has been paid in and I should rest assure, it has been paid let's hope so

Used this site a few times went on this morning everything was fine I deposited and then hey presto … sorry you’re account is now suspended I contacted customer support who said we’ve decided not to carry on a relationship with you I’ll have to wait to see if I’m returned the balance or if it’s something I’ll have to take up with the bank . I’d give it zero stars if I could

I have been trying to login. I put in the correct username and password and it was rejected. Changed it via email link. Still doesn't work. There is absolutely no-one to contact. No live chat or email or telephone. I will not use them again. If I had a balance I wanted to withdraw it would be impossible now. Luckily I spent the last 5 on Saturday. The account has only been open 10 days. I didn't get my 10 bonus for opening an account either. Back to the trusty old Paddy Power and Skybet. At least you can contact them if there is a problem.

Worst site ever. In the middle of the game, as soon I got free spins, they suspended my account. Reason (as it hasn't met our responsible gambling requirements.) I joined 2 days ago, I have deposited a fair amount, but yesterday i won! I am just waiting on my withdrawal, if I get it ok and speedily, I would recommend this site!
Watch this space, I will let you all know when I receive my withdrawal.
The only issue is being able to contact them, can never get on live chat and no e-Mail address supplied or any other way of contacting them which is a bit disappointing

Be very careful of this site. I recently registered with gamstop to close my accounts because it was becoming an issue. I received emails from other firms stating they had closed my account but betway have asked for my full name bank account details and other personal info in order to refund some money to me. I have emailed them several times asking what funds they have that belong to me but they will not reply. I know I have no funds with them so I am thinking that they are trying to defraud me.

Although their selection of games is good and they have a few promos here and there, the game variance and volatility seems so badly skewed in house favour on their site compared to others major casino sites, it's massively off putting.

Don't think I'll be depositing any money with them anymore. What gets me is I can play the same game on other sites and regularly get small winnings or at the very least get my stake returned on an individual round. No hope on this site. 1 bonus game in hundreds of spins only to return 4.32. Joke. Also the game seems to have spins in which the reels continue to spin for ages suggesting server latency issues.

Not recommending this site. Betway are a terrible bookie. Opened an account and have been betting to qualify for their free bet club. After believing I should have qualified one week, I complained to the customer support team. The first time I contacted them, the agent agreed with me and said this will be resolved by the next day. Let behold, the next day passes and this issue has not been fixed. I contact them again and I am told to wait until the qualifying period has ended and to then complain afterwards. Then on this day I receive an email to say I am no longer eligible for the free bet club promotion, with no explanation to why.

I am a recreational customer of Betway and have not broken any rules. They have excluded me A. Because I complained and B. because I’ve won more than I lost in bets I’ve made so far. I should not be banned for that reason.

I was using betway for years without a problem, I deposited 200 and put 120 of football bets on and next thing I get a message saying my account is locked and they would not tell me why. So I can't get my money back let alone the money I've spent over the years. Why didn't they lock my account when I hadn't put money in. Most of the time there is no money in my account.

After playing at this bookmaker for a few weeks, my account suddenly got locked. I was asked to provide several documents, which I sent quite soon afterwards. I sent these documents over a month ago and they still have not been checked. In the live chat they say someone from operations team is going to call me, this was said 3 times already and it has been over a month without receiving a call.
