Awful site! Was a member for not even 24 hours and they put restrictions on my account with no explanation! I’m closing my account as a result as I won’t do business with a SCAM website like Betway! Takes your money then restricts your account! AWFUL!!

Money taken out of my bank acct. Never showed up in betway acct. No one to talk or deal with problem. Anyone that is thinking of signing up take a extra minute and think about it. Lots of legit sites out there and you will not have to give up money without even having a shot at winning as hard to play the games when,your money never shows up.

Virtual betting is not fairly done on this site I know we cant win them all but I've tried and wasted 80 pound on this site. I lost 15 games in a row at one stage and I backed draws favourites and high stakes always seem to lose. My luck cant be this bad. I think there is something weird going on here the games also glitch and you end up waiting sometimes days for your money back in away of it being void. So if your game win and it glitches you lose the winnings and get stake back. They always refer to terms and conditions on everything someone needs to look into virtual betting on site it's the worse I've ever experienced. May aswell just deposit and give them the money it's just simply unfair tactics.

They don't seem professional. First of all , the ssupport guys are unapologetically ignorant about their own offers and webpages. I did sign up through one of their links which promises a bonus of 30000 inr through the ocb website. can't post the link here as they don't allow links . But then , I got a bonus of just 2500 . And when contacted the support team , they are completely ignorant and keep saying that the offer I registered for is just for 2500. They don't look like they are committed to responsible gambling either. I have registered with them yesterday and it's a bad experience as their support guys are rude as well.

Again me, 2 months past Scumbag BETWAY still not paying me over 1500 pounds, My bet already has been paid out from other betting websites where I have a place a bet for the same game match, Ladbroke for example pay me straight after game has finished.

I tried Betway as a novice and found many choices either not available to me or the choice crashed time and time again. When I tried asking for help it's supposed to offer chat online but all it does is go around in circles or crashes,totally frustrating!

Still none the wiser!

Having replied to Betway's private message I still haven't heard a reply why my account was locked / suspended.

Although crediting my balance back to my bank this still leaves me 140 out of pocket .

Its like playing a poker game with friends and buggering off after winning the first hand!

After confirming I passed the checks the locking the account within 1/2hr doesn't sit well.

I will continue to voice my opinion on Betway until I see the full deposit monies I made on opening the account.

Suspended / Locked my account?

Signed up today and deposited 400.00 playing the roulette. Whilst at a balance of 260.00 so losing 140.00 my account was suspended / locked for no reason mid spin.

Clearly the phone lines are not in operation at present but with kicking me out I couldn't access live chat and further still they are not responding to e mails!

To be non contactable in any form shouldn't be allowed and if things are that bad shouldn't be taking any form of bets.

A truly shocking experience and hoping they have the decency to refund my balance immediately AND offer an explanation why they closed the account.

If anyone from Betway reads this I'd like a response.

One of the most unfair and dishonest gambling sites though being one of the biggest.
Not to mention that anyone will lose his money anyway there, they simply log you out by force out the account in the middle of a game, even after bets are placed, without any explanation. The bets will also not be refunded.
Dont worry there will also be no apologies or refunding after contacting betway managers, only denying the facts.
In the end, there is no possibility to prove anything.
Now imagine all the dirty words which can or must be put into my comment.

You can withdraw money and after I asked them, they have blocked my account.

They will reply here, we gonna help you but in the fact your money is gone.

Customer support is just waisting time as they actually do not want you to withdraw money.

They don’t do responsible gambling. Account was opened when was self excluded through gamstop. Company did nothing. Did not even check whether allowed to gamble as the gambling commission states.
My friend (also self excluded!) did the same and with the same results. Perhaps by hitting their reviews they will start to take it seriously and refund the transactions as they lawfully are required to do? Social media don’t reply.

They Block stake amounts when they see you winning more. they set limit on stake amounts and dont let you put more. I'm sorry betway but i was impressed initially but the moment i started facing these, I lost my interest in betway and moved to other betting sites.

Online blackjack is very bad I think the cards are not shuffled properly. I never seem to win, dealer always deals me terrible cards and they have 20 most the time. Maybe this is just my luck but I have played on many online casinos and I seem to win on them more often compared to Betway.

This is the same! I wanted to withdraw money from my account and it was not possible. I have contacted the terrible CS named Chene who said I can not withdraw money just deposit and blocked my account. I can not get access and just the useless chat.

It is very difficult to withdraw your money. Customer service is neither responsive nor humane.
Inevitably, the impression is that they do everything not to transfer money.

I am honestly shocked by the behaviour of the customer service. I am restricted only on sports as everyone is with this company but not casino. I opted into and completed an offer on casino for free bets for goals and did not receive my free bets. I have contacted them on multiple occasions and the emails I have received are shocking. I have been told I am restricted by all, then told I didn't opt in insinuating I am a liar, then I've been told if I can opt in I can do the offers and so on and STILL this fraufulent company will not honour my free bets because they are insinuating I am a liar when I categorically did in fact opt in and placed the relevant wagering requirements. I will be taking this further and reporting them to their relevant governing body because their treatment of customers is shocking. AVOID.

I want to post a review of the Betway complaints process based on my own recent experience, because you rarely see reviews covering this side of the business.

I lodged a complaint with them 9 weeks ago. During this period, Betway conducted a very thorough investigation. I found them to be very professional, honest and kept me well updated at each stage. Complaints can take time to investigate and resolve and I acknowledge Betway have a team that clearly take complaints seriously which is all you can ask for from a company within this industry whom you can trust.

i made a 50 dollers interac withdraw with them.1-2 days latter i get the e transfer email but betway did not send me a the password so i contacted thire support and asked for the password they said try gigadat and Gigadat i tried it and it the trasaction locked because it was wrong thanks betway support . and now that im looking to get my money back they are passing me around and playing with me saying ohh we cant do anything contact gigadat or interac to get a cancelled interac back. On February 17, 2019, I bet 8 euros on an allegedly manipulated game. I didn't know what was manipulated. If I were a criminal, I would have bet more than 8 euros. As a result, my credit of 112 euros was blocked. The game has been under investigation for 1 year and 3 months and I don't get my money

Had 10ew on 11/1 shot using free bets 1/5 odds and they returned me 12?? I registered on the site and started betting I deposited 1120 gbp and tried to place a few bets but the limit was too low, I did not win around 50 gbp, extra I decided to withdraw money, they asked me to check account, I sent all the documents, but they blocked my account for no reason and money I deposited, they confiscated!Never deposit your money with these scammers!

Great for sports betting , bet 25 during the week and get 2 x 5 pound free bets every weekend. Competitive pricing and BOG for horses , love the 4 to win horse racing offer too, withdrawel process ok . Needs improvement on its responsible gambling ie needs to have the option of self excluding from different platforms so you can exclude from casino only if you wanted and needs to stop the option of reversing withdrawels, these two things are commonplace for responsible gambling on other sites. I had one issue with an in play bet that was voided after it had won and the money put in my account then taken back out , i was not given a reason or any evidence to support their reasoning for voiding as the price was in line with the score when i put the bet on as far as im aware, i was close to cancelling my account thar night and many people would have so this practice made no business sense on betways behalf as it was only a 10 bet to win 6 . All in all a very good site that could grow into one of the best if it stops its pettyness and looks at the big picture…..

closed account in 2018 just came back to give it another chance and now I remember why I closed in the first place.
Lack of bonuses copious amounts of dead spins and when you do get a win the payouts are nowhere near comparable to other sites.
No gameplay unfortunately so wont be returning.

It's terrible, they don’t give me back my money

My name is Liubou, I registered on the site and started making bets, passed verification, including confirming my address, the withdrawal of funds became available, after several wins, I issued a withdrawal of funds, for which the betway blocked my account!

I contacted them and they asked to re-confirm the address, I sent them another document, to which they replied that they would not accept it and confiscate all my money! This is just disgusting!
I sent you a bill for electricity and a landline phone, why are you steal my money? I have fulfilled all your conditions

I registered on the site to have fun, went through complete verification, made a deposit and started betting
I was lucky and doubled my deposit, there was $ 1220 on the balance, I requested a withdrawal and started to wait
A few days later I try to enter my personal account, but my account was blocked!
I wrote in a chat, to which the employee replied that they had decided to confiscate all my money and accused me of fraud! Refusing to return even my deposit!
This is disgusting, instead of positive emotions, I got a complete disappointment!
Betway are scammers, as soon as you win the money, they will block you and steal all the money!

My formal complaint lodged with Betway is now 48 days old!

Betway HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINT………Despite advising next to my complaint that they have ‘Contacted user’ to learn more- THIS IS NOT TRUE!
Betway have not contacted me to learn more … DESPITE ME CONTACTING THEM SO MANY TIMES OVER THE LAST 48 DAYS!

I have been waiting 48 days, and the complaints team (IF THEY EXIST) are apparently STILL INVESTIGATING my complaint below.

Each day I ask customer services for an update by email- I GET NO RESPONSE.

I have been submitting my emails to the two .com addresses below:

Support@betway

Despite sending emails for 48 days, BETWAY have not responded to a single email which is why I took to Trustpilot.

I have contacted Betway customer services on Twitter, but they just say ‘complaint is being investigated, and they outright refuse to ask the complaints team for an update, nor are they able to provide an ETC.

Despite Betway’s complaints procedure stating complaints will at least be addressed in 5 working days.

Betway seem to be ignoring complaints, hence all the negative reviews on Trustpilot about them.

If a few days I will be able to refer the compliant to the ombudsman.

I raised a complaint to Betway on the 12th March based on an account held with them.

The complaint being that during my time as a Betway customer with VIP status, I fell into the population of individuals that were not identified by Betway, as problem gamblers, despite the data which could and should have allowed them to identify me as such and take responsible and appropriate actions.

I have advised Betway that I believe this was because it was a period where Betway:

Did not have effective policies and procedures in place for customers who may be displaying signs of problem gambling. For example, this was because:
A) A customer interaction policy was not implemented until April 2015.
B) Until January 2017, the customer interaction policy did not have a specific provision for VIP customers.
C) The policies and procedures in place did not always prompt effective interactions where customers may be displaying signs of problem gambling
interactions, and decisions not to interact, may not have been adequately recorded.

This led to Betway’s Failure to identify problem gambling behaviour and adhere to the below;
Social responsibility (SR) code provision 3.4.1(1)
Licensees must put into effect policies and procedures for customer interaction where they have concerns that a customer’s behaviour may indicate problem gambling. The policies must include:
(e) specific provision for making use of all relevant sources of information to ensure effective decision making, and to guide and deliver effective customer interactions, including in particular:
(i) provision to identify at risk customers who may not be displaying obvious signs of, or overt behaviour associated with, problem gambling: this should be by reference to indicators such as time or money spent
(ii) specific provision in relation to customers designed by the licensee as “high value”, “VIP”, or equivalent

It has now been 47 days and the Betway complaints team have not yet concluded their investigation, nor are they willing to provide an ETC for the complaint.

I will keep this forum updated with the progress of my complaint which may be useful to existing or previous Betway account holders who may have experienced similar issues.

I dont know what everybody is talking about! I requested a withdrawal several times last month, a total of more than 10.000€. Processed and paid within 24 hours! Wow you guys are amazing Betway! Stop making new users scared and don't point to betway but look what maybe you are doing wrong.
I veryfied my documents at the beginning when I opened my account and have never experienced problems with a withdrawal. Chapeaux👏

Everytime I ask for a refund I am asked additional details. Now that my identity is proven and so is my bank account to which the withdrawal is to be done. I do not see asking any reasons for asking Credit card statements. This is all just to be able to do a fraud, nothing else. They do not want any security and all when we are depositing money, but, do ask for so much of documentation whenever one asks for a withdrawal. I have not played for the last 2 days in Betway because they are acting weird with my withdrawal. And now I wish to be sure about my withdrawal before I play again.
