If I could score zero stars I would. This company used to be great to their customers. However recently it is pathetic the way they try everything to get out of paying out their promotions to which you have qualified, you waste time chasing for days but to no avail just more time wasting and excuses!! I am awaiting a call from their management team now for two days regarding my own issues with the company and I would recommend anyone at this moment and time thinking about joining or using Betway stay well clear their is a lot better betting sites out there with better promotions and which are easy to deal with if a problem ever arose!!

Offered a 75 spin and bonus match using a link valid until May 2020. Deposited only 10 pounds to trigger the spins. No free spins. Contacted support, told no such offer existed, said to send the link - from their own website - and then told me I needed to deposit more. Pointed to number 4 of the offer T+Cs to show 10 pound or euro required. Apologised to me and said it would be looked into. 2nd time contacted support - same situation, send link. Then told I did not click through the link correctly. They would not reinstate it basically told me I did not do what I said I did. It astounds me these situations still occur and the offer is still on their website. Lost all confidence and closed account.

I received an email stating my withdrawal of 500$ Canadian was paid on January 20 and should reflect in my bank in 2-3 business days. When it wasn't in my account I sent an email saying it was actually paid on the 22nd and should be 2-3 business days but they again asked for my bank info and history. While I was waiting for my funds on the 27th I sent an email again with my bank info to confirm they sent to my correct bank account they confirmed it was. I waited another day still nothing when I asked they responded it was sent back for invalid route number and will try again. My bank has never heard of an echeck but they keep automatically sending (or say they sent) this method? What options do I have? There have been over 30 emails with 15 different reps and I'm starting to realize I'm getting pulled in a circle

Just a bunch of scammers. Placed 1k into my account and over a week and a half managed to get it up to 10k. Then when i started to withdraw some of it they shut down my account. Wont give any of my money back and wont even give me a reason why they shut me down. Disgusting business practices, take your money somewhere else.

Deposited 4,450, went to withdraw 6,100 and account has been closed by the responsible gambling team. Asked to speak over the phone arranged 3 calls, all missed by Betway. Then told via chat my account senior management closed the account refer to section 7 of their terms and no funds will be returned. I placed bets on mainstream sports and used no bonuses. Not only are they holding my winnings but also my stake. Disgusting company. Do not use. Essentially stolen over 6,000 and given no reason whatsoever. you may have read my other review and updates just when I thought everything was good after a phone call from Richard well it seems like its amateur night at the palladium!!!.. I'm keep getting emails from a Betway STALKER in customer services who goes by the name ROZARIO. who keeps asking for my passport as photo ID I keep ringing up and telling them ive already sent my paper work through and its all been excepted but low and be hold I get a email at 4am saying send me your passport but it must be in date so I then ring up and spend half hour on the phone telling them what this STALKER is doing and they have confirmed that my photo ID and proof of address has been excepted and I will get no more emails.one hour later the STALKER ROZARIO is back demanding that I send her my passport what is going on is she running a fake passport racket, no seriously this women should not be in costumer services I now have no faith in this site and am worried about my personal information ive sent. I am a high stake player that was looking to change my Bookmaker now I think its safer to stay with LADBROKES. Really Richard this STALKER needs to be kept away from any contact with your customers.UPDATE UPDATE Ok had a call from Richard at Betway who was very understanding and apologised yes that's right APOLOGISED not many bookies do that.so ive been assured the STALKER :) will no longer be contacting me for info that does not concern him and my account. This website LITERALLY stole money from me. I did a bet and I was suppose to win it. I betted +1.5 on Akatsuki which means they need to win at least 1 map in a bo3. They won 1 map and they entered the bet as "Lost" After that, I contacted the livechat and they were useless, telling me to contact the customer support by email. Update 6:48 PM East Time: I never received your "private message" First answer I get is: "We see it at -1.5 instead of +1.5 in our system, please let me check." Already a weird response. I did that right after and I was told to wait 24-48 hours to have a response. I finally get a response saying I lost the bet with the following explanation comparing my video game match to a soccer match: It was indeed a loss for this bet. Here is an example: So, a player has bet on the event of Liverpool vs Man Utd. The player bet on the handicap Man Utd +1. A +1 to Man Utd’s score would produce the same result as -1 to Liverpool’s score. For example, for this event say the score finished 1-1. I finally get a response saying I lost the bet with the following explanation comparing my video game match to a soccer match: It was indeed a loss for this bet.

Agree with a lot of negative reviews on here about Betway , worst Bookmaker we have ever used by far !!! My wife opened account no problem at all , deposited and got free bet , she won, and tried to withdraw 190.00 in total , this was declined and verification was needed , we sent all documents in and withdrawal was still declined , Betway have repaid her stakes but no winnings , disgrace of a firm and avoid at all costs

I have deposited withdrawn many times using betway it's quick and easy one of the better bookies to use I put in 120 pound won a bit and just kept placing bets on horses for Cheltenham ante post market now my total staked on the festival with betway stands at 3400 but over the last couple of weeks have been asked to provide source of funds I wasn't to keen on the idea at first but provided them with the required information they then requested that I provide bank statements again not to keen on the idea but done it once again I've got a mate who owes me money who pays me back monthly there now asking me to provide his information which I can't see being fair and more to the point I'm not going to ask him his personal details reading a lot of reviews on betting companies online course there is always going to be good and bad ones but I have also read how betway are being sued because a man stole from the company he worked and deposited high amounts of money now maybe this is just betway protecting them self but I certainly wouldn't put anyone off using betway sometimes there's a bigger picture anyway will update once I get the response from my last e mail

Appalling site, closed without notice because I made 400 quid profit in a few months. Very distressing at the time, thought had been hacked but they made a decision without notifying me this. Losers welcome. Apparently they monitor reviews of this site. Shame cant screen grab but jist of reply states, a decision was taken by senior management to lock my account and it wont be overturned. As I said, losers welcome. In fact is it possible to have no stars, it doesn't even deserve that.

I think Betway are very fair and offer great promotions but their mobile app is a real let down for me. Simple things like a quick passcode log in like bet365 and betfair do would mean so much especially when wanting to place a bet quickly on the move.

I have wasted 40 min of my time claiming money for a bet that I won and they automatically gave it as Lost!! I think it is not acceptable these type of mistakes for a big betting company. After wasting 40 min speaking to the support team they reimbursed me the money. You wonder if I never claimed my money... Scary...

I requested this on 31st December and then a few days later they requested proof of ID and proof of address which apparently needs to be a utility bill or a regular monthly payment type bill. Betway like most companies now don’t want you raising complaints with them. I’ve tried 4 different numbers the site deliberately takes you anywhere but to a point you can speak to them. What a con! No free bets given as promised , greed pure and simple.

WARNING! If anyone is reading this review please listen to the warnings and all the other one star reviews. Their ratings are false and customers were offered money to make false reviews. Take your money to a trusted bookie like Bet365, William Hill or Bodog. I made my biggest withdrawal of around 2000 dollars, after previously verifying my account and withdrawing smaller amount before without issue. Since December 21st i have not been payed and they are having issues with their "Processor" or "Investigating". I have not been given any timeline as to when i will receive my funds after proving i have not received the withdrawal. A 3 week turnaround time for a withdrawal is absolutely unacceptable. Betway is happy to take your deposit and are frugal when its time to pay a winner. Be warned new customers. STAY AWAY!! A generic copy and pasted company response with no empathy or solution will follow review.

Betway are without doubt one of the worse bookies to open an account with. You will find yourself very quickly restricted (no Best Odds Guaranteed, Free Bets etc) after a few bets win or lose. The same thing happened with a colleague from work and a friend. AVOID!, AVOID! AVOID!

In the last week they have taken 40.00 and 50.00 out of my BANK account I am having problems with them putting the money back into my BANK account today I put 50.00 on a horse and they took out 100.00 you can't get in touch with them over the phone they are a very bad bookies

I have no number or chat on there site to close the account site is a scam and it’s plan to see you play roulette and number jump out the number they am to land on I have had 28 numbers on the board and still lost up to 6 times in a row and more the only good site to this site is it’s free bet and that’s rigged because it never add the amount on to your free bet so you never get it it also unlike other site has to be a multiple of so many team to actually get it when on other site it’s just a certain amount of money games am a scam this site is terrible been with them ages and they haven’t ever once phoned me up offering a free bet my other sites have offered me a 25 pound free bet loyalty bonus this is by far the worst site for betting on

Betway service is bad and they lock my access to my account after I won some bets and withdraw the profits from the bets. They began by requesting documents to verify my address once I sent them the keep on asking for the same information, eventually they locked my account and stopped responding my emails. I woyllll

I had an email yesterday from Betway saying my account had been reviewed and I was being excluded from all sports promotions and free bets etc. They will not give me a reason why they have done this and just replied back to my email saying they reserve the right to withdraw promotional offers at anytime. If you don't want customers to take advantage of promotions and free bets Betway then why offer them in the first place? My account is now closed and I'll be sticking with Sky Bet and Ladbrokes in the future.

Listen people do not use bet way it's a scam bookie who let you deposit as much as you like but will never pay out and then start saying the money safe when u make a deposit but we have to be 100 percent sure on a withdrawal listen just a scam using every trick in the book to not pay if they feel so strongly about this why not ask identification before your first deposit SCAMWAY$

After a day received an email saying the documents have been transferred to the operations team. They will take care of it. "Fair enough". The next day received another email saying the proof of address is 3 months and 2 days old. It should not be more than 3 months old. So I must send something new. Since I receive my electricity bills every 3.5 months so had to send the broadband bill this time which was one month old. That's it. No email, no communications after that. Come on, it's a simple verification. Where most of the bookies do verification electronically within seconds or even within a couple of hours after sending the docs, and there we come with betway. It seems they are too busy to do the job. Never again with them.

Would be zero, but Trustpilot won’t allow it: Here are some facts: 1: Betway in the UK take a minimum of 72 hours to pay out because of “UK regulations - This was confirmed in their response to me as below “ Your withdrawal will only be sent to our processing department after the pending withdrawal period has elapsed. The pending withdrawal period, of up to 72 hours, may vary at weekends.” So any review on here saying they have been paid “in a few hours” is false. I have taken my complaint further and they have failed to meet their own imposed timescales twice already. Term 10.2 of their complaints procedure states “ Upon receipt, best efforts will be made to resolve any reported matter promptly and, at a maximum, 10 days from the date on which the complaint is received. In certain cases and based on valid reasons, we may need to extend this to a further 10 days, in which case we will be informing you accordingly. If for some reason You are not satisfied with the resolution of Your complaint, You may refer the matter to one of Our ADR entities.” I received no response within 10 days so they failed. When they finally decided to respond they sent me a further complaints procedure that gave me a chance to escalate this. It states the following - “ Stage 2 – Dispute Procedure Upon Your request to escalate the complaint as a dispute, the matter will be referred to the Compliance Team. Once referred, the Compliance Team will: 1. acknowledge the referral of Your dispute within 24 hours; 2. obtain a full and detailed report from the Customer Care Team; 3. conduct an investigation (independent to the one conducted by the Customer Care Team); 4. create a log and maintain detailed records of all aspects of Your dispute, including the determination; and 5. inform You of a determination within 10 working days. An official response and determination from the Compliance Team represents the final stage of Betway’s internal Complaints and Disputes procedure. If, upon receipt of the determination by the Compliance Team, you continue to disagree with the decision made, you now have the option to escalate Your dispute to an independent adjudicator (ADR) for final ruling. You may refer a dispute to IBAS, eCOGRA or the MGA. Disputes must be referred within the time scales stipulated in the respective ADRs terms and conditions.” I asked for this to be escalated to their disputes manager over 30 hours ago and still I have no acknowledgement. They are clearly flouting their own procedures, yet alone those of their regulators. Little annoyed with the withdrawing system cus I live in Canada I can’t just withdraw back to my visa I have to do an e check and most likely wait like 10 days , I just hope I actually receive my money unlike some other reviews

Any genuine recreational punter is well advised to stay away from this cowboy bookie. You'll not be able to withdraw even if you win on games or pick a winner on the horses; the constant bad reviews from users (1st time) are a testament. How this cowboy bookie is allowed a licence to trade is scandalous. Stay away.
