This gambling site is an absolute disgrace. Surely with all these lousy reviews the gambling commission should step in, what are they there for.I had the usual problems, the app is appalling, try they’re live chat, ha, it says they are answering, in about a few hours. My latest request for my money back, has gone unanswered, now for 14 hours! I’ve emailed them, had no answer in 5 days. Once you have signed up, and deposited cash, which seems dead easy, it suddenly appears that to withdraw cash, if your lucky to win any, is the most difficult process in the world.They seem to constantly making new excuses, as to why they can’t give you any money back.AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I opened 888 account with 100 saying I get 100 bonus but I never got. I send my passport to Verify my ID they didnt accept it so I play won 700 but was not able to take it out. They stop my account and dont let me withdraw my money out. They keep all my money . Robber send them 100s email to solved but same email reply and nothing was done . Its over 3 weeks now. My account is closed around the end of July 2021. At first, Bwin said it was about document verification and requested for necessary documents.I sent the necessary documents and account verification has been completed.However, Bwin has kept my account closed and told me that a match I betted was under investigation and your account will be closed until the end of the investigation. Bwin could not provide any time frame for this investigation because they said a 3rd party is doing the investigation. This means Bwin can keep my account closed and hold my money as much as they want.I have deposited around 150 EUR into my account. Right now there is around 250 EUR in my account. I cannot see the exact amount because my account is still closed.It has been more than 2 months and there is still no update about this investigation. I do not want to use Bwin anymore. That’s why I have requested a manual withdrawal 1 month ago. Bwin has escalated my query several times but they always answered me that they cannot let any withdrawal because of the investigation.The last response of Bwin on 01.10.2021:’Until we hear back from this investigation, no activity is allowed on the account. Sadly everyone is right, pretty appalling, deposit obviously they match you then lose that in a matter of minutes, however then you get the free 88 ? I played 11 of the 88 i won 45 so it then said I couldn’t play those spins any longer because ? well I don’t know why. So then the 45 was randomly turned into 10 cash bonus, bonus for 888 because you can’t collect it, so inevitably in seconds i lost that and then the 77 bonus i thought I had left had disappeared??? Marathonbet are simply liars. The say they have great bonuses and promotions but I’ve deposited 1262 and only received a 1 free bet. I even entered the bonus20 offer for new customers but never received any welcome bonus. I emailed them over a week ago with an issue I have as every time I deposit they automatically log me out and I was told on the phone that he would speak to and escalate it to the relevant department but the issue still happens and they now refuse to fix it as they say the issue is with my device but I explained that it happens on all devices and even devices I do not own so that’s the sort of company you’ll be dealing with. Awful customer service from
MC or Marat. They make you wait 10 minutes and then give you information you haven’t asked for. Deposited and entered correct bonus code but refused to give me a welcome bonus. They have a bonus system where you have to deposit and bet over 750 to get a free 10 bet and 75 for a free 1 bet. Use your brain and join a decent bookie.

I was taught the hard way. If it sounds too good to be true: it will be too good to be true. Everything was fine until I asked to make a withdrawal. Then they said that I need to put more money in my account in order to withdraw money but this wasn’t true. After spending on slots and at only 20p to 40p per go, realising I’d put £125 on and got 2 features for that amount of spins it’s time to close the account as I don’t mind losing but at least make it fair and give the punter some sort of enjoyment. I have been using Marathonbet since January 2021 and had no problems as long as I was losing money. I was making regular deposits, and was able to withdraw twice using the same method without any issues (although the second time took longer, and was only processed when I lost a lot of money and made another deposit before they had processed the withdrawal).
I was playing roulette one day and got lucky and made a big win and decided to withdraw part of my winnings. I was asked to provide documents once again and after I did, I got an email saying my account had been verified for the second time. I was then limited to 5 dollar bets on that particular roulette where I won (which I can understand, but am not too happy about).
One day later, they sent me another email asking me for a picture of myself next to my ID, which I sent them. (Honestly, it felt a bit like a mugshot).
I haven’t received an answer since then, and the amount I had requested to withdraw was returned to my balance at Marathonbet. I got in touch with them through the chat and got no answers or explanations for what they did, and was asked to wait for an email indefinitely.
After reading the reviews here, I feel like I shouldn’t waste any more time and write an official complaint, as the amount I have with them is fairly big.
Could anyone please help me with the name and contact details of the relevant authorities to file the complaint with?
I would not recommend Marathonbet to anyone. They refuse to process withdrawal requests and ask for far too many documents, which is quite scary, given everything we know about identity theft. Nothing on the internet is 100% secure, and having to send all of those documents online puts you at great risk, especially when there really is no justification for that.

On the surface this appeared to be a decent sports betting platform with a reasonable selection of markets. Fast forward a few weeks however and i've discovered that this is an incompetent company piggy backing on the success of mainstream gambling operators and marketing themselves as one. It is more the case that marathon bet are a pound shop version of the more reputable firms. If you want up front honesty and reliable customer service then avoid this company. They will gladly lock your account without any prior warning and ask you to supply documents that they should have requested (as per their licence conditions) when you open your account with them. Customer service staff are scripted and robotic and have no ability to conversate appropriately.

Was happy at first with fast withdrawals and best odds. After a couple of weeks I wanted to withdraw 100 (not even in front with them). All of a sudden I was asked for a security check and was asked to provide two photo I'd and another proof of address. I sent my passport, birth certificate, a council tax bill and my photo Id of my support workers badge. I was told I needed another photo Id of either driving license, military id or national id card! As I am not a driver I don't have a driving license I've never been in the military and don't have a national Id card. I explained this when I phoned their head office but to no avail. I offered to take a selfie there and then or go on video chat to Proove it is Me, but to no avail! My only option now is I have applied for a provisional driving license at cost,and inconvenience to myself. Interface is really outdated and no promotion for new clients (sports betting). They do have some of the best odds for some markets (they even advertise it), but you won't get to profit from it unless you are a loser overall. Like many reviews said, you will get limited to 0,35$ per market if you start winning even a little bit. I got limited after 11bets (10w-1L) on mostly main markets (NFL) and playing huge favourites. only won 200$.
My withdrawal went correctly and without fee.

If you were to play with them, I strongly advise to at least roll-over once your bankroll not too late (probably in their AML rules), because you might encounter problem trying to withdraw if they limit you before that, and it might take some time to do with a 0,35$ limit per market.

I don’t understand the bad reviews, Iv had no problems at all. I would like a few more international horse race meetings and dog racing but when it comes to the actual betting they pay out straight away, Iv had a min and max bet option every bet but never had a max bet of 20p!! Payed into my bank quickest Iv ever experienced and when I signed up I forgot to put the bonus code in. I had an online chat with them and as a gesture gave me the bonus anyway. Top marks from me so far!
