Types of bets

Netbet offer single bets, handicap bets, combination bets and system bets up to 8 selections. They also offer a bet called a “Teaser” bet. A teaser is 1 bet involving 2 or more points spread or game total selections on American Football or Basketball betting . A fixed number of points are bought on all selections in the teaser. The number of teams selected and the number of points selected determines the payout odds. All selections must be successful for the bet to win.

In-play experience

Bright colourful icons are used to highlight the different markets, which makes finding and betting on your favourite sports very simple. All the markets loaded fast and we experienced no delays or problems with the site, while NetBet have introduced a “Rapid Fire” for mobile users which is just superb. It is easily one of the best ways we have seen for betting on a tablet or a mobile as, within a few taps, it’s so easy to lay multiple bets across different football games and football markets. Even better, NetBet offer a free £10 bet when you use the mobile app for the first time, and the live schedule is located at the bottom right of the screen, very useful for a quick glance to see what in-play events are due to take place.

Live streaming

There’s no live streaming with NetBet.

Nothing difficult here. As soon as you go the NetBet site you are greeted by a landing page which has all the sigh up offers for their products. This is all you will find on the home page apart from the main menu at the top of the screen.

The overall betting margin offered at NetBet is 5% which is a reasonably competitive margin compared to other online sportsbooks.

The best margins they offer are on US sports with Basketball, Baseball and Ice Hockey all at 4.3% or less.

The above sports are what create the average margin of 5% but take note that football betting margin is around 6.55 with tennis at 5.3%. These are both high and football in particular is not so attractive on NetBet as on other bookmakers sites.

Market coverage is stronger on the major football leagues with each game usually having around one hundred seperate markets while in the lower leagues on other countries, this drops quite dramatically where some games might have less than ten markets.

In terms of the selection of bets they have a full range of handicap, teaser, combo and multiple system bet options as well as the more standard win and each way singles.

NetBet aim to keep their site uncomplicated so would not offer as many bet types as some other sportsbooks and bookmakers

The In-play interface at NetBet is definitely in the top tier from a users perspective. The layout is really clear with all events on a single page but with the option to get to a certain sports by clicking a clearly labelled sport icon related to the sport.

The interface uses the same colour scheme as the main site and when you click on an individual game it then changes the layout to a three column view which gives you all other games in the sport in the left column. The centre column houses your chosen game with all markets viewable. the right hand column has a stats and game live view so you can follow.
