During the month of March 2024 Paddy Power have been on a mission to completely strip back and limit their (promotional offers). This includes:*5+ACCA insurance- This has been changed to a maximum of €2 free bet return. So even if you put €10 ACCA on and 1 team let’s you down you will only receive a €2 bet not the full €10. *2up you win- This promo has been completely removed. Despite paddy power being ‘experts’ in marketing they failed to inform customers effectively about these changes. *Cash card plus- paddy power decided to remove the cash card system. Allowing customers instant access to their winnings without using a bank account. Paddy power closed this method of withdrawing despite customers having active cards which do not expire until 2025*PP rewards club – Paddy power have limited their rewards club. This has been limited to a maximum of €5 per week. Reduced from €10. *PP wheel of fortune – I won everyday when it first came out. Then it changed to be near impossible to win. I don’t bother playing it anymore (stopped about 9 months ago) because it’s just a little joke to them. Paddy power already had the worst odds of online bookmakers. They drew customers in with their bells and whistles. Using exciting and unusual promotions and advertising. Unfortunately they aren’t even able to these things well anymore. Please use I different bookies to place your bets. Paddy power change the rules as and when they please. You will only face frustration when betting with these gangsters.

Allowed me to deposit £500 GBP whilst self excluded. I had a serious gambling problem, I managed to sign up to paddy power with a couple of details I changed which was wrong of me. However the problem I have is that I would have never passed verification, so even if I did win I would have never gotten anything. Luckily I have recovered a bit now and when I look back I couldn’t believe the pit I was in, I could not control myself. It was ridiculous that I just handed over this evil company £500 for no reason. If by a miracle I had even won something back when I did this..they would have asked me to verify myself properly. They also take weeks to respond to you. If you are going to be dumb enough to gamble online, use a company that does seem to care about their customers more.

I have held a betting account with Paddy Power for many years. On 6th May I tried to log in to my account but was repeatedly denied access which seemed strange as this did not normally happen – I tried the phone number on their website but was redirected to online. It subsequently transpired that they no longer deal with queries by phone and this has apparently been the case for about one year. Instead online you are initially dealt with by a ‘robot’ who asks personal security questions before passing you onto an agent. After answering security questions I was allowed to put in my original password and gain entry to my account. Straight away I could see that my balance of £84.75 was now showing as £0 which was very strange. On further inspection I could see that someone (not me) had placed a bet of £84.75 to win on a horse that ran three days earlier and lost. Making further inquiries I found out that my e-Mail password had been changed by someone else and I subsequently found out from Paddy Power the changed e-mail address but I am not allowed to repeat it on here. I understand from others that this can be traced but I am not that computer knowledgeable. I am at a loss to know how anyone else has accessed my account number as I live alone and no-one has access to my details – It also does not say much for the security of Paddy Power accounts that someone can just snatch my details and change the account password. I think at this point I should tell you that my normal bets are £5, £2.50, and £1 all each way and I have never ever placed a bet of the magnitude of the one placed by the ‘cuckoo’. Sadly it is now one week later and despite all the information available my account is still suspended and no repayment made. I have been in contact with Action Fraud who have taken the details and issued a crime reference number. Paddy Power have made no effort to contact me since my initial contact with them one week ago. I do feel that the standard for this company has sadly gone downhill and they are not acting in the proper manner. Any prospective customers may wish to read this post before taking further action.

I had a bet which was settled as a winner but my account was placed in minus after I’d withdrawn the money (as the settlement was then corrected & my bet did not win).However, as a gesture of goodwill, PaddyPower honoured the bet & returned my account balance back to £0 from minus funds.

This was my own fault for not querying it especially after it being the 2nd time in 6 weeks but they are a bunch of robbing b#####ds!! I done a 20p lucky 15 with a £3.50 ew acca written on the same slip. 1 nr, 2 placed and a 10/1 winner. They paid me out £29.27 in the Edgware Rd. shop. Thought about it 20 mins after leaving the shop and checked it on PPs bet calculator and it should have paid just over £43, not a lot but how many people have been done over like this?? I had a bet on the greyhounds a forecast double ,the first forecast won, the second had a non runner but the remaining dog won . I thought the winnings went on as a single. Not 1 STAR. ZERO! I made money from Paddy Power for the first time. I wanted to withdraw the money and the money has not been transferred to my bank account (HSBC UK) for 3 days!!! I contacted support; they said me “the money will be transferred to your account within 2-5 days. It is related to your bank; If it doesn’t work, get in touch!” There cannot be a problem caused by HSBC UK! Also; one of them said that they will check me, whether I am eligible or not for the payment! I live in the UK, I have issued a UK Bank Account. I am a customer with Paddy Power for several years. I bet very little but when I do love the experience of competitions with my husband. I used my maiden name for years and then changed my credit card to my married name but my account name is still my married name which I cannot change. When I win I cannot withdraw my money and I have tried chatbot, email and phoning.. Nothing has worked. But surprisingly enough I can bet. They are willing to take the money off me.. Devi a customer service advisor was absolutely ridiculous today. An advisor asked me to come back to chat on the 2/05/24 and said there would be a bonus availble. So I came back on to be told I was chasing a bonus and my account would be timed out. All I did was simply follow the instructions from an advisor to check on todays date. Devi not only spoke poorly too me all Devi did was try and get rid of me. Not listen to me. Try and palm me off but most of all just didn’t listen to me attall and began reply’s with things that had no context. There was no empathy not understanding no nothing infact it was just ridiculous purposely winding me up.
