I have placed a bet on MLB which was voided after the ticket was winning, their response was it was placed on “incorrect odds”: “Hello, Thank you for your e-mail.We kindly inform you that according to our terms and conditions 4.7.4. If the Operator makes a mistake in accepting the bet placed by the Customer and finds out about suchmistake before or after the start of the betting event, the bet shall be cancelled. Well, here is my story.I went in for some gambling and saw an campaign that would give up to 200kr back if u payed today and lost.well i thought, thats what im gonna do.. allthough i though iam only gonna use 100 kr.. But i said nah, its okay.. atleast i get all the 200 back and can play for 400 all together.. BUT – when i finally lost the money, the cashback was not available.. All of a sudden, its gone, allthought everything seems fine.. Then i contacted the support, and they could see that something was wrong.The answer was: Well we need to contact our boss to get the payment accepted.2 days after i havent heard from them, i decided to contact them. and guess what?nothing had happend, the same happend. we need contact our boss and sorry we forgot about your ticket and so on…well im on day 4, and guess what.. I had the exectly same answer again today..Im guessing im never gonna se my money.Conclusion: Do not trust MR. Green – the steal your money and use thier “service” to prolong the tricket so i give up.such a bad exeperince, i will allways do my best to never recommend anyone to use a cent on thier site.

Absolute rubbish site fraudulently misleading advertising once deposited and never to be used again,the customer service was very poor,having said that,actually played ok and went up and down but the impossible to reach wagering assures you of losing.Not to mention the witholding of their offers.180 fs and no deposit top up for a first deposit is NOT worth going to this site.A lesson in how to lose customers and a day of rage reviews.

I transferred 25 euros to my account from my bank via Klarna. Racebets received the funds and kept it. They are now not responding, citing my email is incorrect. They are thieves and everyone should stay away. Do not give them the benefit of the doubt. Read and obey the advice given on here.

Best to stay away from RaceBets
As with the other negative reviews, they let you sign up, deposit freely but turn even a small profit and you get limited to SP prices only. When i say small i mean it it too (0 in my case!). Complete sham of a company…they don't pay nothing only cheating

My husband has been trying to withdrawal his money since October 2020, when he received an email saying UK sites were no longer going to be able to bet with them. His account was verified but he was asked to send a picture of himself with his passport. This he done but told not clear, he has spoken to 9 people on chat, one person 3 times, they say his picture isn't clear and they cant read his passport. Well he and I can read it on my phone! He has emailed them to complain in December …no reply he has a nice sum of money in there, he is not getting nowhere. Avoid at all costs!

I had an account for about a week, haven’t even won amything. Constant loses and they restricted my account. Can’t bet more than 0.50-0.60 on certain horses. Steer wide away. I don’t know how they earn their money if they restrict everyone in few days.

Restricted my account after I had a decent win. I lost 8/10 bets won 2 was about 19 profit when they sent me an email advising my account was restricted. Not in the same league as the major bookies

Liked the site and the tote features but restricted to noting for winning peanuts in Ante Post markets. At least they told me they had restricted me. Don't bother.

This company is registered and operated from Malta so beware of submitting personal data as they may not have the same data protection standards as UK. Submitted my UK driving licence (valid with the DVLA) when asked by RaceBets for verification. A few minutes later received a message saying they could not accept my licence as it was out-of-date. (verified by DVLA that it was in-date and currently valid) Then was asked to submit alternative verification such as a utility bill which I did! Again, I received a message from RaceBets that they could not accept this but did not give a reason. Up to that point I had spent a lot of time during the verification process and simply gave up in disgust. Personally I believe their verification process is a scam to entice people to give as much data as possible then probably promulgate it on to a Third Party so BEWARE.

Dreadful! Tried to make a small bet today, only for it to be cancelled by them.
Then I received an email telling me that restrictions had been placed on my account.
I contacted them asking why, and their response was as follows:

"I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Rose and I am a Customer Support Team Leader here at RaceBets

Please note that in accordance with previous correspondence, this was a business decision and one made at our own discretion.

May we remind you of our T&Cs

"8.2. We reserve the right to limit or refuse any bet made by you through your Account at any time. We are not obliged to give reasons for doing so but will make reasonable efforts to give reasons where possible".

Should there be anything else we may assist you with, do return to us by Email, Live Chat or phone and we are happy to assist.

May I wish you a great rest of your day!"

My response to them was a bit childish but it sums up how annoyed I am

Thank you for your swift response. I am surprised that your decision is considered a business decision, as I have hardly had an opportunity to conduct any business with you. It is not for me to question your business practices but I would expect it would be in a bookmakers interest not to alienate their customers.

Opened account but immediately restricted because I had logged on on another device. Like millions of people I regularly use a laptop and a tablet to log in to various accounts depending on my circumstances. Contacted customer service but got no adequate response from them. Seems like they want you to sign up but the decline any offers that should be available to you. Avoid.

I got in to horse racing this year following the Cheltenham Festival this year never previously been into gambling, with little other sport currently on I have been following the US racing. This company are advertising on a horse racing site – at the races – offering 20 in free bets if you place 10 qualifying bet at odds greater than 1/2. So I clicked the linked signed up, placed a 10 qualifying bet on quite a famous horse in a main stream event which actually lost. I thought oh well I've got a couple of free bets. These were never received. I have contacted their customer services, sent numerous emails, proved my identity, given them ample opportunity to rectify this, they never properly or directly answered my questions but I'm no longer eligible for any bonuses or promotions and they sent me some copy and pasted terms and conditions about duplicate accounts. Like other reviewers have stated earlier, I have never registered with this company before and they have not provided a specific reason why they have not honored there side of this offer.
In short, I would not recommend using this site, I certainly would not bother if you are expecting any free bets and given my limited experience of online betting the worst betting company/site I've come across.

I only use for PMU but apparently they cannot pay out on paypal for a month…. and this is ongoing and 15 emails later no answers or alternative method available.

One has to wonder if they're solvent.

Joined up under a promotional deal (so I thought) where you had to place a bet first and then get credited in free bets for the rest of the card. Waited for free bets and when they didn’t appear got in touch with customer support who said my account wasn’t eligible (as apparently it’s their discretion to award bonuses or not – and no I hadn’t ever had an account with them or anything like that before) so I said well I’d like to cash out my initial bet then as that’s why I placed it. Told no on that too as apparently you need a “valid reason” to cancel a bet. Absolute scam artists clearly.

Its a waste of time joining racebets because they won't let you do fixed odds betting. Some on this thread are saying they were blocked from fixed odds because they won money. But in fact I lost all my bets with them over a period of about three days and they still blocked me so its not winning that's the problem. They are in breach of the rules though surely if they make out you can do fixed odds to draw you in then block you for no reason.

Also they use "effect" where they should have used "affect" in their email to punters.

Read a lot of negative reviews about bets being restricted, which hasn't happened for me, but then again I've been winning AND losing, which is how it goes.
Furthermore, when signing up and attempting to activate the sign up bonus to receive the 3 10 free bets, I misread the T&Cs and my bet wasn't at Fixed odds meaning it didn't qualify. They allowed me to place a second bet and still added the 3 x free bets as a good will gesture.
Absolutely no complaints so far!

The biggest scammer bookie out there! I signed up to Racebets, placed 3 bets (small stakes, the biggest was 20) and came out 15 in profit.

The next day … an email telling me I'd been restricted to SP and all promotions removed! Unbelievable. How this "bookmaker" is in business still is a mystery. Have the audacity to win a couple of bets and be a little in profit and goodbye! there's the door.

Horrible little outfit, avoid at all costs!

The website is okay easy to navigate, not much to bet on except horse racing though. Deposits and withdrawals are pretty easy and come with hitches at all. They offer very good odds. They should incorporate football betting on this bookie to allow for in-play betting. When your first bet is 50 you are offered a 50 bonus.

Took my money then immediately banned me from using fixed-odds bets. As I’d won my free bet on Racebets, all of my money went onto there and I couldn’t withdraw it until I wagered it 5x. Now I have to place SP bets without knowing the odds (it says wagers won’t be put towards withdrawals unless above 1.5) and I don’t even know what the odds are.Crap company f*k off.

Opened an account made some bets drew out some money then wanted to place a bet and i couldnt emailed them and they said that its their descretion and they may apply restrictions. Avoid like the plague. ATR complained to as they promote this firm but more interested in their retainer than looking after their customers. Took my money but would not pay 3 winning free bets. Do not be tempted by any false offer made on ATR site such as free bets etc.

What a really awful company!!! As others have said below, i signed up as a new user and was restricted from placing bets immediately.
Basically, they are scamming you in with a welcome offer that they never uphold, pretty much guaranteeing that you will lose your deposit.
I believe I have enough evidence here to report this to eCogra as fraudulent activity by RaceBets.

Stay away from this site:

Signed up, went to place a bet, and was informed that I couldn't. I rang their customer support and I was told that the account had been frozen (without reasoning) and i had been restricted. New account, new address. Never used them before in my life…

So in summary, I signed up for a new account, deposited, and was restricted before a bet was even placed. I am now waiting to get my initial deposit back.

Please, stay away from this company.
