I agree with all the negative comments on here. My account was restricted within 10 minutes of opening because I tried to place a couple of bets at their advertised prices. Obviously they do not want winners or losers at any price, in fact I don't know why they are in business if they do not want any customers.I think the description of bookmaker is slightly flattering for these morons. Don't they understand that there are plenty of bookies out there making a good few quid by allowing punters to actually place bets with them!

Very very bad, stay away. Placed a bet this morning and then got an email 5 mins later saying that I could not place a bet on fixed odds anymore. First bet with them.... DO NOT USE. Get them closed down. Bookmakers like this do not deserve to be in business.

Absolute shambles. Opened an account using the offer, won a single bet, then informed hours later that restrictions have been placed on my account. Avoid!

Honestly I've gambled with some shoddy bookmakers before but racebets take the cake, they informed me I wasn't eligible for any promotions, after my first bet. Now they've informed me I'm not eligible to use their site even without best odds guaranteed or any bonuses. They're trading team must be petrified. They don't update odds quick enough so perhaps if they spent less time checking their clients and more on their product maybe it would have been a more mutually beneficial relationship.Credit where credit's due though, their site is a genuine pleasure to use. Thoroughly impressed with that side, just a shame you can't use it for long!

Shady company, got an email from them stating I could have a 50% deposit bonus for my birthday. Deposited my money and found they had banned me from bonuses. Got that sorted out over live chat to find they had banned my from fixed odds betting. They said I am more than welcome to bet on starting price odds and tote bets. OK fine so I go to place a bet to findo I am stake restricted. Avoid this shady underhanded company.

I had an account with them with which was already verified several years ago. I recently made a deposit after I had moved to a new country and they requested a new proof of address. I sent a utility bill but for some reason they didn't accept it and asked for another one. As I can't provide any other document (nor would I bothered to waste so much time for 20 euros) I asked them to simply give me my deposit back and close my account, but they refuse to do so and say that they will confiscate my money. All this to scam me 20 crappy euros; you can imagine what they will do with larger deposits.

Joined Racebets had a few losses amounting to £1000 then a couple of lucky wins totalling £1400. They immediately restricted my account ,removed all bonuses and limited my max bet.I tried to withdraw my winnings and struggled. They wanted every bit of verification that they could out of me and that wasn't enough. Apparently a passport isn't enough of a proof of identity!?Still no pay back, not even my deposit. Only option left is to open a complaint with the gambling commission.Avoid at all cost. There's no honour, they only want #MugPunters!I would also like to add that as far as the website goes. It's not at all intuitive. It's impossible in the mobile version of their website to place any double, accumulator or lucky 15 etc and their odds are not competitive.

People stay away from racebets. They are no bookmaker, no integrity, no honesty, no values... they are nothingThey will not pay me my winnings, as each time i fail their "verification" for KYC. I have logged a complaint to the Malta Gaming Authority and invite everyone facing the same to do so. This company must be shut down for the sake of everyone.

When I signed up the sent me an email saying: (quote) "we want to be the first port of call for horse racing enthusiasts who want to place a bet". The following day they send me an email saying that my account is nor eligible for fixed price odds. This is absolutely the last port of call for horse racing enthusiasts - go to one on the bigger bookmakers who care about their customers

I'd just like to echo the sentiments of others on here. Deposited £50, race won then account restricted. Online chat very unhelpful. In order to withdraw bonus money I have to place £250 worth of bets (pretty standard) but they started by restricting the amount I could bet to £19.59 and after 6 bets they've reduced to £9.59. They're trying to make it impossible for me to withdraw the bonus and again, they've refused to give me an explanation. They've also blocked me on Twitter too. Awful company. Surprised they can do what they do.

Company makes offers that they have no intention of supplying. Restrictions placed very quickly with no redress. Only want customers that will lose and are one to avoid at all costs. No discussion allowed with customer advisors. Only the "needy and greedy" should use. I am surprised that the GC have allowed this company to operate with UK customers. In over 45 years this is without a doubt the worst company that I have opened an account with

I registered with Racebets after seeing they were offering the best odds in a horse running the next day, most bookies were offering 20/1 but racebets offered 33/1, but there was a catch, I signed up and I read the promotion advertised in their website that you can get a matched free bet of upto 50, all standard payment method and wagering terms applied as expected, I made my first deposit of 50 via PayPal and added my selection to the betting slip, I tried to place a 25 E/W bet but a message appeared in screen to say I couldn’t place more than 20 each way at those odds, I’m wasn’t all that bothered since I was still getting much better odds than other bookies, an hour later I received an email saying my account was restricted and I could no longer place bets at fixed odds but rather at the SP and their decision was final and no further communication on the matter would be discussed, but it did state that although I could no longer opt in to any further promotions for free bets but the welcome offer that matched my first bet I could still receive, I did phone the company and I spoke to a guy who was very polite and helpful and I had mentioned I had read so many negative reviews about the company and his tone automatically changed and he took offence as if it was his company I was critizing (it could very well be him running it from his basement somewhere lol) and he assured me that wasn’t fair and the overwhelming majority of customers had a great service and experience with racebets, I went to opt into the new customer offer which I was still entitled too and of course! My account was not allowed to opt into it like the email said, from what I can gather the email I received is the same every single customer receives after registering or depositing and placing a bet, my selection didn’t win and although I feel cheated by a fake promo and a dodgy bookie god only know what would’ve happened if I won and tried to withdraw my winnings, I’m not a disgruntled punter, I simply trusted the company and the promotion as advertised through attheraces.com but I guess it’s best to stick to the big bookies like sky bet or bet365 they have decades in the business and a good reputation, take my advice if you are thinking of registering with a bookie for a new customer free bet promo or for slightly better odds, there are dozens or reputable bookmakers out there, it’s a shame that all new customers get that generated email about restricting accounts because you could’ve had loyal punters using your service for years to come, just thought I’d give my opinion
