Setantabet Review

You may well know Setanta as a sports TV and broadcasting company from Ireland where they made their first broadcast in 1990.

Using their knowledge of sports, they have recently set up a sports betting site which of course allows them to cross promote their sports broadcasting products. As a new site they do not yet have any sign up offer in place. You can expect that to change quite quickly with the power they have in terms of potential investment into this part of their business.

The site itself is really well laid out, but the minus point is that the text is quite small and difficult to read even on the dark background.

As a late starter in the sports betting sector,Setantabet do not have the best offers on the market and our advice would be to check back here regularly, as we aim to update as their offers improve

The Setantabet interface uses the origibal colour scheme from their TV broadcasting company and it actually works really well from the users point of view. The mix of black, dark grey, yellow and white blends in very well to make this site really easy on the eye and the layout is very intuitive.

The site uses the now standard three column layout with sports on the left, main odds and betting interface in the centre and the bet slip on the right side.

It is the centre section where all the action takes place with live and upcoming events being very easy to find. At the top of this section you will find a set of sports icons which relate to each individual sport.

Scrolling these horizontally allows you to find your favorite sport easily. It is then just a matter of one click to take you into that sport where you can find all of the available markets.

Once you click into an event then you can see a full list of markets, and once again you have the horizontal scroll to find a market segment, this again makes it very easy for the user and all prices are shown in white text on a black background which makes it very easy to use.

In terms of odds value then this is very decent from Setantabet as we found that looking through a range of premier league games they consistently beat some of the bigger sportsbooks by 2-5% in terms of prices, and for football punters this is quite a margin, especially if you are placing bets for trading or arbitrage purposes.

A decent selection of markets are available on the platform and we saw that most premier and European football league matches have close to 100 different markets to choose from.

With betting available from 65 countries and just under 200 leagues, then there are plenty of betting opportunities for players at Setentabet.

The In-play betting interface is exactly the same as the main interface and we noticed that odds changes are very active without very much delay at all.

Just moving away from football, the live betting at Setantabet has a big focus on tennis and we noticed that they have a really wide range of fast market bets to choose from on matches that go across lots of non grand slam events.
