Been with Smarkets for almost 9 years, literally had my account suspended with no warning, no notice… no courtesy this is what we are doing, no phone call… no knowing if I was exposed by any bets, took 36 hours to actually get that info…. turns out they want Source of wealth checks… this will be my 5th time providing them, would have been no bother but if this is how you treat customers you can do one… my business is going elsewhere… will email you next year and you can return rest of my balance… turns out you emailed me once dated 28/09 sorry was hidden in all the spam you send daily I missed it… no follow up email, no phone call just suspended… very very poor showing…. Money returned I’ll stick to betfair going forward

Speaking from my own experience, the bad reviews of Smarkets are unjust. I’ve bet with them for years and never had any problem. They also have some of the best odds around and relatively low commission. Highly reccomend both Smarkets and Matchbook for those seeking a reliable betting exchange.

Used smarkets for nearly 11 years with only a few problems. I agree with the reviews saying the site is not well designed, but after a while you get used to it. Also the commision structure is very unfair. As a previous review said 1500 bets and your commsion changes – permanently. It doesnt matter if those bets are matched or not. They actually changed my commision after 80% of the 1500 bets (1200).Makes trading almost impossible as I would in the past try and trade a race with as many as 200 bets. If I do 6 races Im done for.Anyway… I wouldve given 4 stars up until a few weeks ago, but then they closed my account and refuse to give any indication of why. I have searched the forums and found no less than 10 cases of accounts closed in the last few weeks – the only thing they have in common is that they were all winning accounts !!!!No, why would an exchange that supposedly makes its money solely from commision on bets between customers close winning accounts ???I am sure you can draw your own conclusions.You only have to look at the markets for a few hours to see what is really happening.Is it illegal? I dont know.But it is definistely misleading.

This is out-rightly a scam venture , do not go anywhere near this company at all .They are set out to rip clients. . They act like they make you money, the site shows it but but won’t allow you to take any of it back out.After weeks of working with refund office **Expert reclaim^^& we have been able to get the money released. Last year was so tough for me and my family but we are well relieved now

When you back the lower end prices of football matches I e 1.01,1.02,1.03,1.04etc in running you up ould expect them to be at least the same price as the bookmakers,or higher ,I’ve checked them regularly with bet 365 and not once have they been higher,most times lower and many 1.03prices and 1.,02 have been 1.01 or no price at all offered ,this is not rare but the norm ,I’ve had to put a date on 1/10/2022 but this is the case every single day ,I thought exchanges were supposed to give you better odds than bookmakers ,this is not the case with smarkets ,check the factscif you think I’m kidding

It’s just really disappointing. They could be great but just constant bugs and errors. It would be great if it actually worked. It’s really frustrating not being able to get bets onYesterday a horse race wasnt available to bet, just blank next to name of horses where the odds should beThen today a race at catterick was missing on the sportsbook with a few horses not available to bet onWhen you contact customer service they just fob you off telling you that you should have contacted them before the race was off but how can you do that when you log on a minute before the off?I notice they don’t bother replying on here.

Had site issues at least 10 times the past 3 weeks including each saturday during the 3pm games.Had 2 friends have their accounts closed without warning since the football season started, only a matter of time until they close mine.The site is so buggy i dont trust it enough to leave a bet inplay incase their bot hoovers any money before they suspend the market, ive seen so many bets gets hoovered up by their bot its a joke.

Yesterday the sportsbook was down and error message when went to log in. Got fixed eventuallyThen today no betting on MLS and now the 4.00 at NewburyThis really is unacceptable. Twice today I’ve got the error message ‘bet is currently unavailable’ on the horses.Even when I managed to get on I was only offered a pathetic 30 on a horse to place at 1.82 yet when I went to click place bet it dropped to 1.70.. This wasn’t on the exchange but sportsbook . Another time 1.91 became 1.8 when I went to place it. Not acceptable . Each time you don’t want the bet you have to cancel and resubmit. Very tedious Customer service gave me a load of babble on my query so thought I’d post on here.Football bet offered me just 26 on what I wanted. Not worth the whileAlso why are there no live pictures or USA racing? it’s 2022 not 2001

Despite bad reviews on here I think Smarkets have potential. They have excellent volume. However, they will (I agree) fail if they maintain a website that is impossible to navigate-cluttered up by pointless graphs. I met the founder once-bright man-but if he doesn’t have the acumen to remedy a relatively simple problem they won’t last.

Odds keep going down. You click on an event and it’ll offer 2.12 but when you click submit it drops to 2.02. the odds are never there and odds always go down never up. I went on live chat and they just waffled on without answering meI don’t understand the message below about closing down an account for winning. Aren’t they meant to be an exchange ??

What’s the point??? Just end up costing you money because you can’t get on. The 5 star review below telling you to ignore the bad reviews has to be a joke Lots of events are that bad there’s no liquidity. Not even 1. Southwell this afternoon 3.53 no liquidity on the top 2 in the betting not a penny available to bet onJust a blank space next to the name of the horses. The same happened in race 6 at Ponty as well. Top 3 betting nope not a chanceWhen you can get on something you’re forever getting the message stake too large and bet is not matched It’s ridiculous way to run a site C.S no help if you want to complain. Customer ‘service ‘ is atrocious. You go onto online chat and they take that long that by the time they’ve finished – the event you’re querying has finished. Nothing ever is their fault, even when it’s obviously them in the wrong. Lots of faults in the app as well but they won’t acknowledge it. I mean seriously why are you so rude and unhelpful to your customers?There is very little liquidity either , there was a race at Sandown the other night and there was no place betting!They have a promo section but never actually run any promo’s

They are the best exchange by miles…all company’s you have to do Id checks..I don’t have a passport or driving licence.its going to take me a week to get an Identification card..customer services said no problem…bets are settled efficiently.low commission.fast payouts back to bank.i have never waited more than 24 hours..ignore the bad reviews..ps I have no affiliation of smarkets…

If you plan to win money you should avoid Smarkets I added a new payment method and had the misfortune to win!! You’d think winning would be a joyous occasion but not with SBK Smarkets.I now need to lose 160 pounds before I can withdraw my 160 pounds winnings or add another card from another bank account but seeing as I’m just a working class bloke and not an international money launderer, I don’t have loads of different accounts AVOID AT ALL COST

Utterly wretched company, Managed to lose a withdrawal I made for a significant amount and then have me jumping through hoops trying to find it. Shame really as I’ve been a customer for a few years and although the app is absolutely rubbish and the liquidity is crap they do have some decent qualities (ie bet settlement notifications.) I would advise anyone to try Matchbook or Betdaq personally and avoid this lot.

It’s bad enough no live feed but now No liquidity on the big race today is quite simply unacceptable I went on live chat and by the time they’d said there was no problems (there obviously was) the race had been run. Worst exchange company I have ever tried to use, I sent them every document I had, bank statements, government letters, passport, driving license, phone bill and they still could not be accepted, a complete waste of my time I wouldn’t bother if I where you, if that’s how they do business take yours elsewhere

2.5 starsWould be more but liquidity is really poor and seeing as it’s 2022 I expect to be able to watch the event I’ve bet on. Also customer service is pitiful. They have a promo section but I’ve yet to get a promotion after being with them 6 monthsOnly plus is the great odds. Shame you can’t get much on.

I applied a deposit limit of 500 per month and my account was closed. I don’t understand why they would do this. I emailed the support team and the response was that the decision was made and final.Needless to say the other betting exchanges are far better than these clowns

Don’t ignore the reviews. I’ve been waiting months for Smarkets to unlock my account. They have done nothing but request more and more documents and details of transactions, knowing I clearly have profited handsomely. The people they target most seem to be affiliates of ProfitAccumulator or OddsMonkey who take advantage of the 0% commission offers. They surely must profit from us on our losses with them, so I really don’t understand the incentive to suspend our accounts, I wouldn’t have even minded the 2% commission. I’m still waiting for them to transfer me my money, and have a feeling this is all just a massive scam to sell on all my financial details. Do not trust these crooks, they’ll probably give me my money back, but everything I’ve sent them is enough to ruin my financial situation for life if placed in the wrong hands. They essentially wait a month to respond, then request the latest month statement as well… Why is that even needed?

Betway is pretty great. I have been a Betway user for quite some time and for the most part Ive had good experiences and actually enjoy using this sportsbook. Unfortunately, I tried to withdraw $5800 last Wednesday. Betway confirmed my withdrawal and settled it as paid on Friday. I did not receive my funds while also being told to contact Gigadat to inquire. Gigadat bounced me back to Betway, stating that no withdrawal got pushed to their system, but Betway says its paid. This is a serious concern as no funds have been released to myself and its been over a week. I really do like utilizing this app, but no customer should have to chase their withdrawals, especially when our deposits always work I have obtained my bank statement for this period to aid in this process but still have not heard from Betway. Imagine not getting the money that you earned. Not right

Have some OK sports promotions but stay away from their casino games. Play like they are totally rigged seen some crazy number sequences like a number you haven’t got coming out on the roulette 6 out of 7 spins they just laugh when you complain saying its bad luck. I only gave this company one star because honestly I couldn’t give zero. The online casino is a joke and if you just want to waste your time spending money with no returns play on this casino. They consistently play you by making you wait for any bonus’s for at least half your waged money then give you bonus’s for next to nothing an example of this is…. Start 100 you start playing and might get a 4 to 5 win (play with 1 a spin) you get a lot of little 6p or 20p or 50p wins which are all losses but it feeds you the fact they are wins (they go towards your win count) and when you get down to nearly 33% of your balance they give you a bonus and it pays you say between 1 and 35 most times on the very rare occasion it might pay you 60 I am basing this on multiple games like book of dead , legacy of dead, king kong cash etc the popular games. then it just dead spins out time after time this happened in the 2 months I investigated this site. So don’t waste your time or money on this casino there are better ones out there and since they took away the auto spins on all sites it has just gone crazy bad with no wins in over two months on this site, but the computer algorithms will show 1.60 bonus’s as you got a bonus and I will tell you this I got 2 bonuses on the run where it paid zero amount (piggy bank bills) and it took over 100 to get them which some people might say well that’s gambling… no that’s ripping people off. They should pay minimum amounts for bonus’s and make it fair time to get them otherwise what is the point in getting bonus’s which is what people play for. Take my advice people and stay away from this site and ladbrokes as they are the same online company paying you winnings and taking your money.
