Iv been a customer for many years. Today I got yet again amazing customer service from Julie. Julie replied instantly to my email and was very very SATISFIED with my customer service. Never once have I had an ISSUE with Tote in all the years Iv been a customer service. Best betting site out there.

Opened an account. Deposited £50, wbuilt my way up to £400, put a bet on for £514 return, it wouldn’t settle after winning. Contacted team, was told bet was late and they voided my bet with no further explanation. Attempted to place another bet then found I had a £1 max bet limit on my account and was again told no further explanation and I can make a complaint. Have just withdrawn the £400 so let’s see how long this takes. This was all within less than 24 hours of opening the account. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This company is despicable. They constantly annoy with their warnings about how they will intervene when you reach certain deposit thresholds. Even when I provided all of my information after £1500 of deposits over a few months, they kept bothering me over and over. Every time I complied yet they’d be back a couple of weeks later again. All I had was a monthly loss limit of £500 yet they still wanted to know more about me as if I was on a dating site with them! After the fourth intervention they just closed my account without giving any reasons. They did not even return the cash value of the promotions I had earned the previous week. I have requested a DSAR which they are obliged to send me by law and will expose them further when I receive it.

Well I’m always brutally honest. The limit you are given when you start slowly ticks away with very little in returns! The games are set to take your money but as play goes on you get less wins. The first 10 percent of play you actually do win a few pounds but that soon dwindles out! how can you spin £2 and get returns of less than 80 percent of your stake! Basically you’re losing most of the time even when the win comes in!!! It’s blatant robbery to be honest. Do not believe anything they have to say on stats because it’s all Micky mouse. Placed a bet (just the one) and won. They put my account on hold pending the identity verification process. This was 8th May 2024. I have supplied everything they asked for in a timely manner, and my account is still on hold, preventing me from withdrawing my winnings! It’s now 18th June. On enquiring again, I have just received this “This is still under review. As soon as there is an update, we will revert back to you with any further information”Could it be they are trying to avoid paying out………..Disgraceful.

I think that 81% 1 star reviews of this sham of a company says it all. I deposited with them £10 yesterday on my partners account. They let me add my details and even took my £10. To which Tote then blocked my partners account. So I have £10 stuck on my partners account. Unspent my own money and there refusing to refund me unless I and my partner provide a ridiculous amount of identification documents. Are you for real? Your quick enough to take my money off me though aren’t you? Nothing but scam artists who are essentially robbing peoples money. After having a Tote account for a number of years (I’m 64) I have just received an email informing me I was no longer able to partake in their promotions (free bets, Tote credit or gaming). They quote some clauses in their terms which I find a little defamatory as they suggest I am abusing the promotions(don’t know how you can do that?). I am a small stakes only betting person as I try to enjoy the activity but they begin their email with “after a careful review of your account” whatever that is as there was no input from me. When I queried I received the bog standard copy and paste reply that it was a business decision which implies to me I was not a profitable person to their business which leads to the question are their promotions only available to people who lose a lot? which also leads to it making a mockery of the safer gambling/enjoy it message being pushed by bookmakers who are trying to outdo one another with the plethora of promotions being advertised trying to draw punters in. The Gambling Commission should look into it.

Absolute joke of a betting company. The £10 / £30 free bet offer is totally unclear. The £10 has to be a total bet and has to be the very first bet you have. Despite placing other bets that meet the criteria after your first bet, that doesn’t count. Utter crap compared to other companies… and they can’t lose as it a tote and only pay out a percentage of bets.
