I think that 81% 1 star reviews of this sham of a company says it all. I deposited with them £10 yesterday on my partners account. They let me add my details and even took my £10. To which Tote then blocked my partners account. So I have £10 stuck on my partners account. Unspent my own money and there refusing to refund me unless I and my partner provide a ridiculous amount of identification documents. Are you for real? Your quick enough to take my money off me though aren’t you? Nothing but scam artists who are essentially robbing peoples money. One of the worst gambling sites I have ever encountered and I have been on many. Steer clear and avoid these charlatans. Your literally better off throwing your money down a drain! Don’t say you haven’t been warned. I am in the process now of having to speak to my bank to get my money recalled back not happy at all customer service is abysmal and the few representatives I have spoken too was nothing but unhelpful and very rude towards me and my partner. I really don’t know how they are still in business? I know why because of situations like mine and many others on here they are robbing people blind!

Got restricted after two months (I was up net by a small amount) citing small print clauses including “bonus abuse” whatever that is meant to mean. Enjoyed the site before that but will now take my business elsewhere.

After having a Tote account for a number of years (I’m 64) I have just received an email informing me I was no longer able to partake in their promotions (free bets, Tote credit or gaming). They quote some clauses in their terms which I find a little defamatory as they suggest I am abusing the promotions(don’t know how you can do that?). I am a small stakes only betting person as I try to enjoy the activity but they begin their email with “after a careful review of your account” whatever that is as there was no input from me. When I queried I received the bog standard copy and paste reply that it was a business decision which implies to me I was not a profitable person to their business which leads to the question are their promotions only available to people who lose a lot? which also leads to it making a mockery of the safer gambling/enjoy it message being pushed by bookmakers who are trying to outdo one another with the plethora of promotions being advertised trying to draw punters in. The Gambling Commission should look into it.

Don’t bother with this site. Signed up and deposited £10 for the £30 in credits and free spins promotion and was told this will be recieved within 48hrs. Bang on 48hrs later they decided they need additional documents. Live chat is useless they give quick replies but are always automated replies so please steer clear.

Absolute joke of a betting company. The £10 / £30 free bet offer is totally unclear. The £10 has to be a total bet and has to be the very first bet you have. Despite placing other bets that meet the criteria after your first bet, that doesn’t count. Utter crap compared to other companies… and they can’t lose as it a tote and only pay out a percentage of bets.

Opened account thinking I was getting £30 pounds free bets for Cheltenham because my first bet was a £5 ew didn’t meet their long winded small print requirements I got no opening offer. I should have gone with my head and not my heart. After reading all the poor reviews about this company, I still went and opened an account with them.Deposited £10. Bet went down the pan. Waited for my £30 credit and free spins for over 48 hours. But no credit or spins. Just been on to their customer service team (Shaban) told I had to send additional id etc. Chalk this one up to being a wally. Closed my account. Like most of the other poor reviews that have been left. This is my attempt to try and stop anyone else falling for the same con.

I just joined last week and everything was fine until they decided to remove the only slot I was playing and constantly losing in (Big Bass Christmas Bash). They claim this is because it’s no longer Christmas yet they still have Christmas Big Bass Bonanza! I demanded a refund or at least some sort of compensation but they resorted to their terms about basically being able to do whatever they want. I told them to close my account and they have done that. They don’t care about fairness, their site is horribly set out and their promotions are a joke. Absolutely rubbish sure, avoid at all costs. Roulette scam! I foolishly thought this company may be different but no. Computer system, how if random, I cover 1st 2 dozens so expect to lose 35% give or take, yet 3rd dozen hit 80% of session. 1 person against company computer, not fair, not random. Another account closed, I play for fun not to make money, but when you are cheated blatantly I do not understand. Tote, don’t bother giving people the random crap. My search for a fair site continues but I think all in it together. Industry is corrupt to the core.

Slots are the worst! The spins are very laggy and the bonuses just don’t come in, just played £80.00 on big bass bonanza and only played 0.20p a spin and got 1 bonus for £4. Bet e/w on a horse 40-1 Oso Rapido 17.35 York it Won by a nose. Done a stewards enquiry it came 1st. If i could give them zero stars i would they are a complete joke of a company. I have been betting consistently with tote for years putting my placepots on just small bets of £1 – 0.50p I have lost hundreds which is part of the game but now they have the cheek to take away my ability to use free promotions as my account is not gambling enough money with them which is ridiculous their own terms and conditions say free promotions are open to all customer with an active account and if they are to withdraw this they should give prior notice which they did not, also the customer service is terrible you can’t raise a complaint so they say, even though they have a full section on the website outlining the complaints process in full which obviously customer service staff cant be bothered to follow

Special offers confusing I opened an account on the promise of opening an account, depositing £5 to get £20 in so called free bets but not on the same day you made the deposit or the bet but credit later which was not clear on the account.Having contacted customer service some time later to question we’re the credit was only to be informed that the was an expiry date on the on the credit then to be told it was in the TCs They have made a gesture of good will but not honoured the agreement 😤I’m a customer with other betting apps and never experienced any issues.I suggest you do the same .Having seen the Trustpilot score I can see now why it’s so low.The one star is for the customer service person who responded to my email quickly.Only to be failed by her senior manager in trying to resolve the problem.Gamble responsibly but make sure you do it quickly is their massage🤔
