Unibet Review

Signed up to an account via app. Immediately received an email telling me my account was locked, when I tried to verify the app said I was "good to go" and there was no way to provide documentation. Contacted customer services who, rather than offer the opportunity to verify my identity or otherwise solve the problem, informed me my account has been permanently closed and I'm barred from opening an account with them in the future, with (as I see others on here also received) a vague reference to their T&Cs which state they can close accounts for several reasons – fine, but they didn't actually tell me the reason. Misspelled my name in the response. Thankfully never actually got the chance to make a deposit so at least they won't be getting any of my money. Complete waste of time.

Update on my previous review. Took 4 weeks to eventually review my documents. I had 8500 sitting some where for that amount of time. I eventually threatened them with a small court case and media exposure and they paid out the next day… convenient. There is a website called ‘resolver’ a very good tool to solve problems with the gambling site. They respond immediately once you open a case.
There procedures and t&cs are all wrong and do not stick to the time scales, there is a legislation that says if you’re not notified about the time scale they will take and they go over the time scale shown on their website you start a case. They will do anything to hold on to your money. They then closed my account after because they made me wait 4 weeks and I said I’d make a case. Worst company ever.

One of the worst online gaming sites…
One of the worst online gaming sites that I have experienced .
I made a deposit from my debt card . I lost most of it then I started to win and suddenly they interrupted my game asking for verification of my account .
I tried to withdraw my funds but was refused until I verify my account . So I went through the process of verifying my account ,which was approved by unibet.
I again attempted to withdraw my funds , again I was refused as I needed to show proof of funds . Which quite frankly it’s ridiculous as it not a very large amount, and it was going to be returned to my debt card.

I then provided proof of funds from my account and I’m still waiting for unibet to review !!!
This process has now been over a week .
So my advise is stay away from these scam artists. As for their customer service there is little to be desired .

Over 3 weeks keeping 8k no sign of them handing it over. I’ve never lost any money so it’s no bad review to hurt there rep. Im only a couple of grand up after depositing a large amount. In the process of taking legal action as they are not sticking to time scales nor updating me about what’s going on. They make up excuses and try to use their clever t&cs to make you out to be a criminal. I’d listen to most these reviews and don’t use this site. Ask to send relevant documents in which I do so. Say it usually takes 48 hours it’s been 10 days. I’ve had zero communication. The department that deals with it are not customer faced.

Seems to be a feeder for the casino, even the poker promotions are free spins which seems morally inappropriate as the site likes to go on about being beginner friendly.

There seems to be very mercenary regulars, I'm not saying they are team playing but they are absolutely leaving the tables momentarily after winning then returning with minimum buy in. This is absolutely happening.

This is an Update to my previous review.
Is now 2nd July, after several times chatting to online customer service and requested call back from a manager I had call back on 26th from manager and she told me that my sorce of income would be good if I could upload the same statement from the bank I use to gamble with. Bear in mind you can only upload one document so I asked her to delete the other bank statment so I can upload the one she requests so she did and I uploaded it and she said yes now everything is fine the verification team will confirm it shortly. Shourtly enough is 2nd today and week passed and documents still there waiting. Called up and spoke to Christine (Apple and Banana most been busy this time) so was Christines turn. She checked and she said: yea but only have been a week since you last uploaded the last document…. yes love you are right but the documents been waiting since 19th June. So otherwise a week for them to do 3 clicks is not enough time. I checked the total deposit and withdrawal since I joined Unibet and total was 64.000 (18.000 in red). I am now looking for solicitors that deals with such kind of issues and planning to take them to court so any referral or an opinion please do come forward I would much appreciate it.

I played for years. I Had small issues here and there but they were solved. 10 days ago I was asked to verify myself again and sent all the documents. I contacted them 4 times by chat and every time they say: sorry about that, we have escalated the isue but still nothing done about it. Now is 27th and still waiting. The couple good reviews most be put from staff or someone they paid as no way they will pay you before you get verified your account as one of the reviews says and all them good words. Yes they were good on bank transfers and withdrawal but when you open account it will take few days to be verified yet to play. I would no suggest anyone to use the casino is no longer a business is a con. Do not gamble with them!

Do not bet with these cheats – I placed a bet on the golf after round 1 on a player who was in approximately 25th place and then when my golfer improved his place to 2nd halfway through round 2 they cancelled my bet! Secondly, their variety of roulette and slot features is superb, especially considering that I prefer Evolution Gaming interface. Unfortunately they don’t offer roulette wheels direct from an actual casino, so it’s just your standard studio roulette wheels, but there’s still a wide selection.

Lastly, and most importantly, their withdrawal processing times are one of the fastest I’ve encountered. I opened a unibet account and deposited some money. I identified myself using iBIN. I made a small profit, and after 10 days I tried to withdraw part of my profit. At that point they bloacked my account saying that I needed to identify myself again, and suddenly there was no other way to do that besides uploading a copy from my ID (which I was not willing to do). They didn't want to give back my money and they didn't try to find a proper solution.

So I signed up for the welcome offer, deposited and placed a 10 qualifying bet. That bet was settled and they awarded 2 of my 3, free bets (I was still awaiting my casino free bet), no hassle so far. I then placed my 20 free bet on the Netherlands game last night, and 20 minutes into the match they decided to close my account with absolutely no reason given.

I don't understand how it's legal that I signed up, placed a qualifying bet of my own money in good faith and they close my account before they even let me use the free bets I rightfully earned.

I tried Live Chat, the gentleman on there was incredibly blunt and rude. When asked why I can't log in I was told "Unfortunately your account has been permanently closed by our security department, apologies for any disappointment", to which I queried this, stating I had done nothing wrong to which he replied "Unfortunately we are not advised to the reason why I'm afraid. However, Unibet reserve the right to close or block accounts at their discretion, apologies again".

He basically stated he knows I've done nothing wrong and kept reiterating they can basically do what they want. I've used several betting companies and never has anything like this ever happened.

They're complete fraudsters, an absolute disgrace. No doubt if I'd have put more of my own money in and my bets were lost instead of won, they'd have no problem leaving my account open.

SO PLEASE IF YOU'RE READING THIS, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. I DIDN'T THINK A COMPANY COULD BE THIS DISGRACEFUL, BUT NOW I KNOW.

Opened an account – submitted all docs, same day they email me saying the account was suspended in relationship with T&C. Contacted CS as I really wanted to find out which T&C I violated, that they decided to close my account. I initially thought there is something wrong with my docs, but no – they were all good.
CS then send me an A4 page with some T&C to read, copy and pasted, without clarifying which of the T&C.

These have to be the worst bookie ever.

I was doing the bet club they offer and after completing the offer I had my account restricted for some unknown reason and they won't give me the free bet I earned. These are the only bookie to do this and it's because they are so cheap and all about profit NOT about users like other bookies are.

All I can say is that considering they are supposed to be a fair bookie that has the customer at heart, its just a joke, they are about draining as much cash from you as possible and then not giving you what you earned fairly.

Just started playing today on slots. I deposited 10 and got the welcome bonus. I ended up cancelling the bonus as I won 140. I withdrew 110 and it was in my bank within about 5 mins. Can’t complain at all. Would definitely recommend so far. After cancelling the bonus don’t expect any wins. Considering it’s supposed to be done by a RNG they seem to know I’ve won some and won’t pay anymore, the gameplay slows and glitches when your about to get a win. I thought it was to good to be true. My brother is disabled with Parkinson's Disease and so I helped him set up he's account. However after placing a first bet they then blocked he's account asking for proof of identity. Passport, Utility Bill or similar. Fine no problem.

However they then also wanted the debit card back and front and will not let us remove excess numbers from the card they want more of the numbers.

When they were told he would not do this, they told me they won't accept he's account, best part of it at the moment they are refusing to return he's money deposited if they don't get the credit card how they want it sent!

I have told them to return the money to the card from which it was taken and they are still refusing to do so.

I will be looking further into this tomorrow and taking things a whole new level.

In this instance they are trying to steal money that does not belong to them since refusing to return it even though we have told them they will not be being used and to close the account! Not sure if I could contact the bank for a charge back or would that be only credit card? And again would they since Unibet let him place a bet from the money first deposited before blocking;.

If anyone has any sence stay as far away from Unibet as possible.

I have been a long time customer spending money on unibet but not after this day on May 17 I bet on trident vs go game trident gets to 9-4 rounds technical issues happen and they forfeit the match and they don’t refund like who does that? I feel betraid they told me because vp was announced winner ? So what? New to unibet and I'm already 600 in and I haven't had a single win on the slots at all. All the other casinos I'm with I normally get a nice hit for every 100 I play on slots.
