Watched them withhold over £7000 from a man and call the police on him TWICE when he tried to collect his winnings in cash even though they let him bet £2500 in cash with no issue. Shop around, there are better bookies offering better odds. 0 need to put yourself in harm's way by using William Hill

I just saw these jokers on a YouTube upload where they refused to pay a guy his winnings and called the police on him, the only way they said they would pay was by bank card he used cash for the bet but said they only wanted his bank details so they could run checks on him and his financial life to try and sway the win. They finally sent the guy to a different bet shop to pick up what was owed to him, who else are they doing it to?William Hill shame on you scumbags.

Treat you like a fool. Block promotions and say they are protecting you from safer gambling when you just have the casual punt. I am an adult but they treat you like a child. Customer service is appalling and I've now closed the account instead of having one more conversation with them. William hill use to be a decent company but Jesus, they are so wrapped up in safer gambling red tape that they can't let a causal normal punter have a bet. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I am a new customer to william hill. I won 61 pounds with a mix of bets and some free spins games. I decided to withdraw 55 pounds and that is when the fun and games have begun. They stopped the winnings from going into my bank account and froze my william hill account completely. They asked me to confirm my I.d with them to complete the transaction which I have done including a copy of my English passport being held in front of my face and a bank statement and other bits but this is still not enough for them. They are refusing to pay what they owe me. I am a new customer Nd will not be using them again in the future. Utter joke. Please everybody save your money and do not use william hill. For the past few weeks there as been very little wins and are only paying very little out even on a £1 spins . Contacted customer services a few times but get the same response. William hill uses bonuses to block you from cashing out during games to make you lose more than what you receive. On fly x you place a bet and you can cash out any time as the meter rises, but at any time the game can end and any unclaimed bets will lose. during a £10 bet, a promotion prize popup of £1 blocked me from cashing out during the game and by the time the pop up had ended, the game had ended and i had lost my bet. do not play or give them money!

At the end of the week if what u have put is bigger they don't give u anything back they play blind. If u put 1k u get 30something back, how is that even calculated? Their machine will log u out this days for no reason while the game is still on, once it did that u will catch nothing they will clean up your account within a second. They need to be checked again including how much each person have put in their business and how much did the person receive in return. This is absolutely cheating. It's against the law to rob ppl day light.

Poor customer service I had a 30 pound non confirmed bet coincidentally on a roulette spin which a wining number came in ... this would of left me in 60 pound profit I then couldn't receive the original 30 pound back that was not confirmed nore the 60 win if it was confirmed leaving me completely robbed glad this was only a small amount but the principal stands !! Thief's!!!

The slots are bad the bonus rounds are even worse to win back what you have spent is not a win but a refund! i would say they are the worst in the industry they don't care about anyone just the profit margin they can get sick of them and the way they carry on the day they get shut down is the day I will rejoice I have been with them for so many years joined virgin bet for about a week and they gave me so much more already in the time I have been with williham hill showed me what a fair casino truly is and made these guys look like convicts.

Having net deposits of -800 William Hill restricted my sports bets to mere pennies with no explanation other than 'traders decision' I obviously asked this to be escalated but was met with the same stock response. I haven't 'abused' the site in anyway and am a genuine recreational punter. This has an uncomfortable feel about it and the fact nobody is prepared to speak to me makes me even more concerned about their ethical practices regarding gambling on their site. I would think very hard before depositing and using this gaming site

I am surprised William hill have any customers the way they treat people.Been a customer for year's but the other day I tried to put a £5 bet on a horse and it said stake too high.Then tried £4 and then £1 but still said stake too high.Complained but told I can still bet on game's and casino's of which I said I do not bet on game's and casino's.They didn't really give me a explanation of why I couldn't bet on horse racing except too say it was above them.So I have now closed my account.What away to treat a customer of year's.I advised anybody that has had this experience too close there account and bet elsewhere.

I have been with William Hill for a long time now, was inactive for quite a while but more active in the last year or so, and I must say to me personally they are one of the best ones out there. Occasionally they drop £1 for me to play on games, I know it's not that much but still. I also win 8 times out of 10 at least on the bonus drop. Also tend to win on most slots I play. Never ever had any problems with depositing or withdrawing. Smooth and reliable. But they choose to play the lowest RTP option they can so no surprise. Deposits gone literally in minutes. Just don't bother you won't win here. For many years now bookmakers have been placing rule 4 on races every time a horse is declared a non runner. Before the internet bookmakers could only place a rule 4 if they didn't have time to make a new book, ie if a horse was withdrawn 5 min before a race. Today I place a bet on the 2:35pm (14:35 for those living in the army state) there was 1 non runner when I placed the bet but 6 were on the book. Just checked the result and surprise another rule 4. I looked at the race and the William Hill website states, 'Win - 25p reductions on bets placed between 17:08:59 and 14:20:37'. A time slot covering almost 21 hours, if I ask why the rule 4 covers such a time spread I know what the answer will be, 'it is industry standard practice'. Maybe if they didn't offer extra places, best odds, odds boost etc they might just make a 'living' because we all know how hard it is for bookmakers to make a living.

These charlatans lie about showing races on their website. Hit by insomnia I bet on a couple of big races in Australia. (Randwick and Flemington). Said was on Betting TV. Instead was showing kids on ponies and blokes racing in their underwear. The sound was a competition between a microphone under a kids party and what appeared to be actual race commentary that was to silent to be heard over the kids shouting. I will look to bet elsewhere in future.

I have strict cash restrictions on my account, £5 per week. I deposited today & went to play Lightning Roulette, one of my usuals. I always place 20p bets but the default is set at £1. I quickly realised my mistake & tried to undo the 5 x £1 mistakenly placed; however the undo button froze even though I had plenty of time to cancel. The bets lost, as they were all on the same numbers. My moan is that CS didn’t accept that there had been an issue with their undo button, it was my phone’s fault. Hey Ho, just don’t bother complaining as the replies are robotic. 😊

They have restricted me from their bonus which I find shocking and concerning. Have asked them why is, but they don't want to tell me the reason why. Which baffled me. Have spoken to William Hill customer service and asked why that extra money was added to my account. They never answered the questions. They avoided the questions and never explained. The two times I got that extra cash have noticed that the slots I were playing got interrupted and closed automatically. Whenever I restart them they should continue the play but didn't. The slots and games are controlled which makes it impossible to win from them. They never used to be like this. Their algorithm is adjusted so it's impossible. These slots on gambling sites need to be reviewed thoroughly. No fair play, it's online the bookies keep winning and not customers. If spend hours online they use it as punishment and never win.
