Hills used to be one of the better bookies. Had a credit account with them for well over 30 years which ive managed impeccably. Then they said they were reviewing all credit accounts. Now these numpties are saying ‘you are not credit worthy’ and withdrew my credit acc. You cant maintain a credit acc for over 30 years if theres a problem, and ive got a credit rating of 999, so it shows how thick and unprofessional Hills have become. Not to mention how disrespectful theyve been. No more Hills for me. Embarrassingly poor now.

I understand you win some and you lose some it’s the whole point of gambling but every single time I decide to have ago on slots it doesn’t drop bonues or completely eats your money with no play enjoyment what so ever, literally got to the point where I’d rather throw my money out the window and get more enjoyment out of it. Guys stay away from this scammer today in a Basketball game in Uganda Nabisumsa girl v KCCA leopards the game finished 69 to 90 this is W game and the spread projection was 119.5 so I backed under the total is 159 was this a game? I made a deposit yesterday and accidentally entered the wrong security code for my card. And the deposit went through. I had to double and triple check this and did it again and recorded the whole process. Again I entered the wrong cvc and it took my deposit. I have been to live chat several times today in order to send over the videos showing this and my obvious concerns into player safety. There could be peoe out there making legitimate claims for deposits not made by themselves due to errors like this and they don’t have a leg to stand on I presume. I have this recorded happening in 2 separate occasions. I have screenshot of customer service telling me this is impossible etc despite me having videos of this happening. Has me very worried about keeping William Hill on my phone incase I ever lose it and something happens.

I have gambeled on site a few years now went to make first 400 withdraw and they wouldn’t pay me offering every excuse under the sun no to pay or refund my. Signed up to WH earlier this year, through an offer and thought it might be fun to do a bit of betting. Got through verification, account good to go, deposited some funds. Then I got busy. And forgot about it. 8 months later, I’m trying to shut down the account and get back the money I deposited. I can’t access my account, but don’t receive the promised “email”. Through contacting them via support I learn that I need to validate my ID through a set of ridiculously OTT methods of proof. I do not want to place a bet, have not placed a bet and simply want a refund of my account, yet they seem to think they cannot do this without this ID process. I mentioned the Gambling Commission rules that state they must attempt to send the money back to the original payment method after 12 months of inactiviy, and that I would simply wait for that to happen. This triggered a transferral to a supervisor. 90 minutes later, the supervisor then informs me that they have reviewed my account, closed it, but won’t tell me why. Oh and I won’t be getting my original deposit back. I asked again for reasons why, was told “can’t tell you, sorry about that” and was then cut off. I will be pursuing this with the relevant authorities, as WH are behaving extremely disingenuously.

William Hill close account when you win on Free Bets.I was pre-warned when I joined by my friend that if you keep winning on Free Bets then withdraw they would close your account without warning. Lo and behold I got £14 consisting of free bets withdrew then 2 hours later received the following email stating:“Your account has been restricted which includes all further promotions”So they give you free bets each day then take it away and close your account when withdrawn this has happened to my friend and from some of the comments on here I can see it’s happened to others as well. The free bets is misleading to customers then you penalise them. I will probably receive the generic developer response of: “Sorry to hear your not happy please contact customer services” The Gambling Commission states:You should ensure that any notification that an Account Restriction has been applied to a consumer informs them:* that the Account Restriction is without prejudice to their participation in full in any Free Bet Promotion for which they have already placed qualifying betsI believe this has been done in prejudice and therefore you shall be reported as such.

My issue is that William Hill closed my account because I used the “Safer Gambling tools” too much. Even though I am a responsible gambler, William Hill did not like that I would keep changing my limit on my account or place it on a week/ two week break. I kept getting Emails from them re the situation and even though I explained that I was in control of my money, they did not believe me. My daily limit was between GBP25 and £50 fluctuating depending on my bills for the monthThen suddenly they just closed my account and that was that.It is my opinion that bookmakers do not like anybody using the Safer Gambling Tools frequently. They prefer those that do not use them. Make your own opinion as to that statement but I do know what my opinion is.I also agree with some of the comments on here about Casino which I enjoy playing with my current bookmaker. I actually stopped the “Trail” option because the mouse was moving and doubling my bets. You have to be very careful with your mouse movements if the trail button is enabled.Note when I spoke to Gambling Commission re these situations the response from them was that Bookmakers do not have to accept any bets from you so I did not have a leg to stand on and just accept that William Hill got their way I did like their website though when I was playing with them but the attitude of their “power” safer gambling staff is **********.This did not happen this year but I want to make people aware of what happened. William hill, just like Ladbrokes, betfred and Paddy power, are literally scamming you on Thier live casinos. They use these mostly Latvian casinos who use a software called playtech. So if u play roulette the software uses algorithms to make sure all your money is gone and only they make money. They give it this we are regulated by the gambling commission, it’s just regurgitated rubbish. They are in on it aswell to create and illusion that everything is legit. So A I , along with magnets make sure u lose 99% of the time. Government turn a blind eye to it because they get a slice of the pie to. Its time to shut these places down and sue them for fraud. Deposited £10 the following day, won £60 and now they won’t pay the money out. Right back to being greedy again I wrote a bad review a few months ago and a few weeks ago I took it down because i thought they were getting better but william hill went and f***ked up again so I’m putting it back up cause they are just stealing my money again not even giving me a good run for my money or anything. I had winnings on my account. When trying to get my winnings on to my card it refused to do so on the app and said I would have to change card method as the issue was with my bank. However when adding a card you MUST add €10 each time. Which is scandalous in my opinion. I simply wanted to take my winnings back on to the card I originally paid with and no. Which begs me to question why was it working perfectly fine when taking my money but when I wanted to get my money back no, this was not possible, a further €10 had to be taken from a different card(which wasn’t guaranteed to work with the app either). Further more when the new card was added to the account I could only take some of my winnings back from the account. I still had €20 euro left on the account however the app would only allow me to try and take that money on to the old card which wouldn’t work with the app and there was no other way around it. Therefore leaving me with no other option but to try and get help trying to remove the old card from the account with their “Live chat” option. The live chat was searching for an agent to chat to for over a half hour and sometimes up to 40 minutes if not more and no help got. Therefore I went to William hills twitter account and messaged that, which in fairness was great and helped me with my query and removed the old card from the account and I got my €20 back. However that is the only plus for William Hill as I’ve had nothing but trouble with them and other issues in the past. I had won a bet last week and should’ve got €20 in winning, However WilliamHill said that horse did not win when in fact it did and I did not receive my winnings. Therefore see this as a WARNING to not bet with WilliamHill Unless you want to win bets and not receive your winnings or when you do you’ll have “issues” with your bank account so you’ll have to find another bank card and add a further €10 to possibly not be able to get that back either. Luckily enough for me the banking issue was swiftly resolved and I got my money back, HOWEVER this was only due to the team at WilliamHills Twitter account which deserve a raise, as I’m sure they’re flooded with complaints and queries each day as the live chat method isn’t worth Jack in my opinion. It’s a waste of time to try the live chat I’d advise you to head straight to twitter to get your issues resolved if you have any. (Apologies for bad spelling and grammar, just trying to get the point across and warn others). 3 stars are only given due to team at twitter for William Hill and that I did get my money back. Watch out – William Hill seem to be culling Clients – I am not a gambler – just £1 bets for fun – seems they don’t want punters like me – even though they are winning – I guess I just don’t lose enough! WH are verifying Clients and picking up on stuff like DOB, address, Name etc etc – to close accounts – and when asked about refunds of account balances are being unhelpful – I spent hours on line trying to sort my account out – and I am 65 and was a very good customer. Persistant losses on this site. Doesnt seem to happen on others, maybe coincidence maybe not. I have to be honest as a gambler, whatever i try and do on roulette or bandits i lose on Hills. Avoid. my wife opened an account after i said it’s a good site for epic odds but they didn’t like her winning. She won £16 on free spins and so she could get her winnings faster she had to put in £5 so she could register and card that has faster payments. They suspended her account and keep asking her for the same proof she has sent in over and over again. she has given up on her winnings and just wants the £5 back she had to put in. she is going to do a charge back with the bank when she gets home as it looks the only way of getting back her money. they don’t mind you losing but never win as they hate it, takes money away from the 19.2 mil fine they just got. no rules have been broken as 2 accounts at the same address is allowed as long as not a duplicate account. Despite my self exclusion ending on the 21st of August 2023. My account still won’t allow me access as it says I’m self excluded. The difference in dates is I received an email from them specifying the dates but gamcare said it the 31st of August so william hill give out false information. I chatted with their helpdesk two days ago they apologises and said try again in 24 hours

Free bet on the weekend wouldn’t work on my account so contacted customer service. Said i was passed to the supervisor 30 minutes went passed and then another 30 mins. Been waiting 2 hours. Noticed they never answer the question. Don’t fall for we get back to you as soon as possible they don’t.
