My account was closed without any notification, and they refused to provide a reason. After insisting with the live chat support, they escalated to a manager… which did not answer in the chat for 90 minutes. I then disconnected.Lack of transparency in a company that handles money is always a red flag. Them being registered in Gibraltar is another. I suggest you take your business elsewhere, to more reputable and trusted betting companies.

My partner opened an account with william hill,after she won £50 by betting what id told her to but only £1 ew bets,william hill restricted her bets so maximum she could win was £10 per bet,no multiple bets were allowed,all she did was beat the odds by betting horses in france,eventually she lost £15.54p so with a balance of £34.46 she tried to place a bet of £0.30 ew on a 33/1 shot…bet exceeds maximum stake allowed so not even £0.10 ew allowed….its almost laughable at times how an account thats won so little gets shut down by a multi million £ company

William hill have restricted my account without any explanation or a valid reason for promotions and all gaming products. Support are of no help whatsoever still refusing to actually explain why the account is restricted, probably because there is no reason and they just felt like it because I hadn’t played on their site for a while. This is one company to definitely avoid.

WARNING if you place a double or more on a.horse racing acca make sure you check aceodds first to make sure your getting the right returns because will hill are trying to gain money back from the 18million fine they have received. Awful. We are always told to use the safe gambling tools.Took a 6month (maximum) time out, returned and max monthly deposit is £50.Had to wait a whole week to deposit £5, then another 2 weeks for the £45. All in all waited 3 weeks to spend £50 and lost it all within 10 minutes on their slot Big Bass Splash paying 20p spins. ALL DEAD no wins at all

Soon weeks on and I still have not received any explanation as to why I am not eligible for promotions and have a restriction on 10p on certain bets. I had been a customer for about 4 years. It was only during recent tennis tournaments that I realised William Hill had features which encouraged my to make it my preferred betting site. Bit once the revenue went up the promotions stopped. Signed up online (username Lkelly6742) and did verification checks successfully. As soon as my account was opened, they asked for yet further verification documents (4 selfies holding separate forms of ID). I found this incredibly invasive and uncomfortable, particularly given that they’d also assured me that the account was open and ready to use. They were even encouraging me to make a deposit. I have written to them to say how I feel about their service but heard nothing back as of yet. I won’t hold my breath. Very poor indeed.

Wow. These guys are terrible…quick at taking your money…sure enough. Flip side is them getting to pay out when you win. Very difficult. Very underhanded. Hills owed me £50. In order to receive the money I had to go through the hoops for 14 days to verify my existence. My name hasn’t changed, my email hasn’t changed, my phone number hasn’t changed & my Bank Account hasn’t changed. I have been a client for over a decade. Took my deposits just fine, and upon a significant win, they advised they were unable to withdraw against the card used for deposit ‘due to an issue with your bank’, and then prevent the ability to withdraw against any other method without using the original deposit source, meaning in effect you are unable to withdraw any funds whatsoever. Impossible to reach customer service, help pages send you in unending loops – and no ability to resolve when you reach them. Essentially a scam. Avoid at all costs. You can deposit, but never withdraw.

Seems you get small wins after spending hundreds and then boom withdraw a fraction of what you have put on and back to spending over £100 on the slots with absolute jack!! I have been a member of W-hill for a while now. It used to be quite good both horses/slots BUT just over the past 3 months it is the worst company to use. Spent over £300.00 in a day in Bis Bass Bonanza Megaways & Cash n riches about £50.00.
