Online support is a joke. 2.5 hours just to verify my account as I have been locked out of it. Been trying to sort for weeks, no one ever replies to emails so thought I’d give the online chat a try. What a mistake that was! Repeatedly asked for the same documents. The call handlers are rude and extremely unhelpful, no apologies provided, the replies didn’t even make sense then Brendan the ‘supervisor’ ended the chat before I had chance to clarify the issue was sorted. Wish I’d not bothered. I’ve never had such poor service with any company. They should be ashamed of the people representing them.

Liars and actual scam artists. Used plenty of bookies and never had problems like I do with William Hill. Theyve closed my account with money inside for no reason, and say I need to speak to live chat to resolve it. When I do so, it takes about an hour for anyone to talk to you, twice now I have been told after waiting for ages that I need to send verification evidence etc (they were quite happy to take the money before asking for this obviously). I have now done this twice and was told it would be passed higher up and I would be contacted in the next two days. Ive never heard sod all! Theyre just straight up robbing people at this point. I wasnt aware theyd had a huge fine recently but its all starting to make sense now. I mean I very much doubt a big company would try and scam money off its customers but how else do you explain what I am going through? It is the very definition of a scam. Avoid them like the plague. Meanwhile I will be sat here on livechat looking like a bloody mug begging for my account to be opened just so I can access my own money. They will not last long operating so at least knowing they will go t*ts up in next few years brings me some peace.

Horrendous account verification procedure! Had documents declined eight times despite following their ‘rules’. Website says one thing, but they demand proof of address can only be a selfie holding a bank statement; who has paper statements nowadays?!Sent over council tax bill – not good enough (despite saying yes on website). This company is an absolute disgrace. I went into the Harrow branch this morning to pick up a legitimate winning bet, and was told there was an issue with the bet.I was told to email their customer service with a photo of the winning slip and was then told I had to send a photo of myself to them.They also stated I had an online account, which Ive never had and definitely a million per cent would never have with these people.I pay for all my bets with either cash or by card.So now Im waiting for someone called Alex to get back to me.If I dont hear from them today, I shall be getting my solicitor onto the case on Monday morning, and I will be making a compensation claim, plus my solicitors fees.Please please please, do not bet with this company, bet with any other bookmakers except this one.I can understand now why William hill high street betting shops are shutting down by the dozens.Hopefully their become extinct soon after their disgraceful behaviour this morning.

For the third time in two weeks William Hill did not settle my winning bets on cycling events. I contacted them through their online chat but it still took over an hour to resolve the situation. They say that bets will be settled and winnings credited within 30 minutes of the completion of the events but they seem to have a problem settling cycling bets even after I had complained twice previously. The first time I had waited for over 7 hours before I decided to use their chat service. This time I waited over 3 hours before I contacted them. If you bet on cycling events bewwre that you could be waiting hours for settlement. The chat agent apologized saying that she also could not get through to the settlement team. Very poor service.

The betting App is useless. It can always take your deposit okay though, never any trouble with that whatsoever, but try getting your bet on, it’s either telling you to log in repeatedly when you’re already logged in or it won’t bring up the betslip. I’m ready for ditching it and going elsewhere.
