I came here to warn others but it would seem that I didn’t need to!I do not gamble a lot, just every now and then and I have, since it was a thing, used William Hill as an online Gambling app. Never had a issue, always been able to access my account, and never a lot in there to be fair. I don’t even know how long I have had the account. But just recently I went to check on the funds and maybe place a bet, and I was locked out! To be honest I wondered if I had got the login wrong. but after a while I decided I would open it up on my PC and sort it! Now they won’t let me in, they want Photo ID (Selfie) of me and my Passport or Driving Licence, they want copies of my Utility bills, Bank Statements and Hand Writing examples! Honestly it is ridiculous. So that’s that lost then, I hope they spend it well! It wasn’t a lot tbh but it was mine and they have found away to con you out of it. Shame on you William Hill

I had been with William hill online for about 12 years.Lost about £3k a year on average.I really enjoy gambling its my hobby.On the 15th march about 8pm I decided to play a slot called cash cascade.I started with £10 and slowly over a period of 4 hours or so managed to get my winnings up to £90 As I played on my balance jumped up to £229 as a football bet that I placed earlier had won.With this extra bonus I decided to increase my stake from 10p to 50p.As the game involves collecting symbols to build up to free spins and multipliers of winnings, the more you play the chance of getting these bonuses increases.After playing at 50p stakes for a few hours my £229 was down to £71 but I had not had a round of free spins yet.All the features were full to bursting point when I spin the wheels they did not stop and continued to spin.When I exited the game I could not rejoin it.I was then informed that my account was suspended for 12hours because of their concerns for my welfare.Im a 68 year old man what else would I be doing at 3 in the morning but enjoying a bit of gambling.If any bookie tells you they don’t want you to gamble 24 7 with every penny you can lay your hands on then my friends you will have heard the biggest lie in the world.

I opened an account with this shower.. literally 5!mins after opening the account and depositing money they closed the account for absolutely no reason. Still trying to get my money back from them now.. had to revert to resolver to get my funds back and the hurdles they are throwing in front of me is unbelievable. Do yourself a favour and go to a reputable online company like bet 365 this lot are a complete waste of time. One of the biggest bookmakers in the country and treat customers like Mud well I’ve closed my account and still ain’t got my money back. I have spent thousands of pounds in my account and was hoping to win some of it back but one day I woke up and they had closed my account for no reason I tried customer support they won’t even get back to me. This is disgusting. You hardly get any wins on William hill it’s full of dead spins. This should be illegal. And to close my account for absolute no reason is crazy. Wanted to rais MY OWN deposit limit by £200 per month. They requested all sorts of personal information and a lot of it. When I asked customer support why I have had to submit this information but none of my friends/family have had to, they was rude and closed the chat. Very rude/narcissistic, a company in true decline. I will be now closing my account.

What an absolute shambles. Raised a question about impact subs on the Portsmouth v Plymouth game and I could not get a straight answer of there chat bots so I asked for telephone number only to be told there isn’t one. Closed my account only to be asked why? And referred me to other options

Why is it when you go or call an all in with KK another donkey with A 3 off suit wins when 2 other players also have an A and the 4th A comes out on the flop yet when you are the only player with an A and call all in you don’t see another player with an A neither does one come out so what’s the random about that when I see the same thing daily for 4 years minimum.It is far from random and very close if not touching the line of legality and is just pure card cheating. If I could give 0 stars I would. Customer service is rude and ends chats just like that. They take my money but then blocked my account and don’t return my winnings. So I have now reported them and I will continue to report them where ever. They don’t deserve to be online at all. Disgusting behaviour. I’m going to see about there gaming license. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. An issue with their password reset ended after 75mins of webchat. I’m 75 and would have hoped to have a personal means of contact but I was forced to take selfies and speak online to over 5 advisors. Had my account for years but hadn’t really played on the slots for a while put 2 deposits in one night £5 and £10.I ended up winning over £200.and when a requested the withdrawal a was suddenly asked to send proof of address and ID documents to them.Accepted all documents at first then got disconnected from the online chat. Went in for the first time as I used to use online apps. Tried to place a double, the woman told me I couldn’t, but failed to mention you can use a machine located in the shop to do this. I asked another question, I seriously thought she was trying to help me as she picked up a tablet and started to scroll through something. havent been on my account for months and forgot i still had a small balance , however when trying to withdraw it wants to transfer my money to the payment method i used unfortunately i cannot because the bank account was closed due to my card been lost ,and before i can use another card the payment card which i originally used my William hills account must be zero balance absolute scam, also it shows on my account that the cancelled card i used was still showing active , what’s more worrying is that also on my account my new banking details was there and i don’t even remember adding them ?? so basically until they allow you to lose all your money you cant edit or change your withdrawal methods

Just because someone doesnt want to use their service anymore they block them from all other providers. Poor customer service, no one wants to give answers to queries, just close the chat. Been with other providers for 15+ years, used William Hill for a couple of months and they have closed down all betting accounts and added to gamprotect list because i asked them to close my william hill acount and they refused repeatedly. I asked for the closure due to the poor sub standard customer service i received when enquiry in the chat about a promo i was no longer eligible for. When no answer was given, and the chat was repeatedly closed before i could ask them to elaborate on their copy and pasted message, i requested my account be closed and they remove my details, they refused. Eventually i thought this was resolved, only to find out they have added me to gamprotect and blocked me using any other gambling site. I have depression and anxiety which i stated to them, i believe this is discrimination due to my disability. I have never shown “worrying gambling behvaiour” and gamble only when and what i can afford to lose and only as a recreation activity and to help with social isolation. A company claiming to care about the welfare of the people who use its service, this does not show that. This shows a money hungry company who only want you to gamble if its through them, and they will stop you from gambling elsewhere if you try.

Awful, It’s a complete scam, has the features ready to pop on 10p a spin and you have have to spend atleast £30 to trigger them and you don’t even win money you put in back. Withdrawal via faster payment stuck on processing. Contacted customer support every day, told the same thing. Payment team is looking into it. Support manager dane gave me personal assurance, to no avail. Every day same thing via chat, the only way it seems you can get in touch. So many 1 star reviews. Like others been with them years, but after i eventually get my withdrawal that is it. Use this site at your peril. All good till something goes wrong.
