I was also sent the so called mails. Disgusting service from them. Ok so they made a mistake. I did once on there site. Clicked on wrong horse. Contacted them to say could they amend my bet. Told no. You placed the bet. You have to go with it. So we can make a mistake and we have to honour it. They make one and don't have to honour it. Oh by the way the mistaken horse won. Picked a nice profit up. Thanks William hill for making me honour that bet.

After a shambolic series of mistakes while verifying my address, they offered me a bonus for five euros which can not be used. Within hours they sent me an email accusing to targeting bonuses (while I can not use the five euros bonus they gave me) and therefore scrapped every promotional offer on my account. Having asked to be put in touch with supervisor Ching I have since received 6 times the same standard email signed by Alvin, Matthew, Miss J, and every other clueless customer agent. Let me explain why every single poker site out there is rigged. Imagine you hold a poker night in your home every week for you and 19 mates making 20 players call it a small tournament or sit and go, now of those 20 players 4 of them are very good players and 16 are recreational players or donks / fish !! I can guarantee that 9 weeks out of every 10 one of the 4 good players will win the tournament / sit and go because they are better players because they have applied skill and understanding of the game this is fact. So as the weeks and months go by what happens ? The 16 bad players slowly drop out one by one because they see the same 4 players winning every week, they drop out because they are wasting there time and money that’s fact as it’s human nature !! The poker sites apply the same theory they are not stupid. Let’s say hypothetically a poker site has 1 million customers and 10% of the players are of a high standard and 90% are donks / fish that equates to 900,000 bad players ! They are the overwhelming majority of the sites customer base, the poker site does not want these players to get bored to not win to stop depositing to stop playing so how does the poker site combat this potential problem ?? Simple they handicap each and every player based on how much they deposit the frequency of which they deposit if they are a winning player or losing player how much they win or lose how frequently they win or lose etc to put it in Lehman’s term if you are a good player your going to receive a mathematically impossible amount of bad beats to accommodate the bad players who receive a mathematically impossible amount of good beats to level the playing field thus keeping the majority (90%) of the customer base happy keeping them happy means they keep depositing which means the poker site drives more traffic and makes more rake. These poker sites don’t reward good players because they are the minority (10%) so when your sitting there as a good player wondering how you have lost your 24th flip on the bounce or you’ve just been runner runner’d or 3 outer’d for the 15th time in a day or rivered yet again just remember what I’ve said. You as a good player are designed to lose to keep the bad players (majority) happy because that’s more profitable for these disgusting low life scum bent warped atrocities called poker sites.

I received emails to state I will be receiving a 10.00 free bet then this was later revised to, 10.00 free bet plus an additional 5.00.
I noticed this was not showing on my account, so after a long 25 minute plus wait on the phone, I was advised they know there is an issue and that they are attempting to resolve this and should receive an email later in regards to this.

Received the new email to state I will not be getting my free bets and that this is an error.

Although this was an error, this is still misleading and should be honoured.
Let's see what Trading Standards will have to say about this.

Had 3 emails today offering 15 worth of free bets, which failed to show up when I logged into the site. Then had another email saying the free bet offer was an error. Why was it sent? I will be withdrawing my remaining funds. Generally not impressed with William Hill online. The functionality of the website is dreadful. When I place bets they stay on the bet slip and I have to remove them even after settlement ….cash out frequently doesn't work….the site, especially the mobile app, is painfully slow….and there aren't any good offers. Plenty of other better online betting sites out there, some of which I already have accounts with. The fact that William Hill don't bother to respond to these reviews shows how little they value their customers.

Multiples emails promising free bets as a ploy to get you to login to your account (or just a very poor promotional team). After 30 unanswered minutes on their live chat and an ignored message to their Facebook page, customer service seems no where to be found. Hours after initial emails, a ‘sorry’ email came through with no recompense.

Even without this mishap, there are far better online betting companies with better odds and promotions. I am now deleting my account.

Disgusting company sending out emails regarding free bets (which are false) then offer no customer service support and only provide a tweet sayimg the email was an error. Tactics to get customers to log in onto there acount maybe? Either way there emails with offers should be honoured . The customer service is atrocious. I've been with WH for over 10 years and finally realised i should move onto better sites. WH for a big bookie is incredibally stingy with promos. The withdrawel system is outdated. They are lazy when it comes to daily upgrades-basically the same every day on football.
I strongly advise people to look elsewere, there really is better value sites out there.
Shame on you WH, get your act together.

After going 20/21 ingame across multiple sports every time i make a bet there is a “latency issue” and the number i think im buying is the one produced or i have to accept the rejected bet comeback. Raptors i try to take 223.5 on the under as soon as i open the bet 117.5 the number i handicapped itd be under. Of course they reject yo 116.5 do just to see if theyre messi with me i let it ride. Hawks score with ten seconds left and boom 117 same thing happened in the pistons game. I have honestly had a years worth of Scott Van Pelts bad beats in a week and a half.

During the Mcgregor fight the same thing that happened to a few of you happened to me. Put my bet on mcgregor and the under and put two bets on the under for 1.5 and they just disappeared with my money! Now I still have an unpaid ticket in my account from the over on that 49ers game myself!

Just checking to see how many people yesterday made any KC and overs or SF and over bets. My issue is when I bet it on my app it was all good but when I went to look at my win it said I bet the unders. I first made a $20 KC and the overs this happened so I called WH service they said they would see about the issue. Then after that the SF game I bet them and the overs again and could not belive this it happened again . I think I'm on to something and would like to know how many issues people had with same bets. Answer, they dish out unbelievable bad beats consistently to the good players therefore levelling the playing field and keeping the donks depositing, the truth is poker sites would rather have all donks and no good players it would make life easy for them, good players are a nuisance, so all you good players keep getting your chips in good and keep receiving the bad beats. Poker sites are absolute scum, I’ve hung my online poker boots up as I’m sick and tired of getting screwed.

I had an account and today tried to re reg it. Password reset was easy however as soon as I tried to deposit, they blocked my account.
Livechat agent 1: go through security, raise the issue, unblock account, log back in (lose chat) account still blocked
Agent 2: Exact same, account still blocked
Agent 3: timed out
Agent 4: timed out
Agent 5: Same except instead of asking me to log back in, demanded id documents and proof of address. I cancelled chat in rage
Agent 6: Same, this time I asked for email address to send docs to, have to wait for a ref number to quote to another agent
Agent 7: Docs received, sent to security team, (passport and most recent bank statement) Docs not acceptable as they are scans, not photo's.
Truly done with this sham organisation

William Hills is suffering from death by a thousand cuts and most of them are self inflicted. In simple terms they have not evolved. I have used Hills a lot over the last 3-4 years, odds were never the best, but there were a few perks such as money back 2nd on some races, and the golden goal on big football matches, that softened the blow of losses a bit.

They seem to have made all of these offers available to the bigger punters only now, however, and said screw you to casual punters like me.

Why on earth would I stay with Hills now when I can get better odds at Bet365 and Coral. Bring back some decent perks and I'd be back Hills.
