Been a customer for a few years , they changed the rules on amount of legs on a bet builder for a free bet to be awarded, contact via their virtual agent then said transfer to agent , oh sorry were really busy and you’ll have to wait ! Busy at 9.40pm on a Monday night , no chance , usually tactic to fob you off .

I would give zero stars. Been with them from far as can remember. Suddenly cut my deposits from £5000 to £300 when i had one losing month following 11 winning. Idiots now appear to be setting markets and had complain numerous times and cut me off at me knees and can no longer bet. Goodbye

A rare error with a free bet led to an encounter with a chatbot which was unsuccessful. Then I dealt with a human agent who asked for my bet ID, checked it, and awarded the free bet with an apology. I have had only two problems with Betfair in over 15 years. Both were resolved amicably. Betfair Exchange is essential, without it racing would still be in the dark ages.

I have had an account with Betfair for over one year now. I was a loyal and faithful customer. I never put a foot wrong. When I go through long periods of time without betting with them I then get an email from them encouraging me to come back. This has happened twice. They then offer me free bets and other promotions to entice me to start betting with them again. I did that and then got an email from them saying I am not eligible to any promotions. I queried this with them and I was told that the decision is final and cannot be reversed. Have nothing to do with this company. They are nothing but scam artists.

They have no email support and their chat support don’t speak English and respond every 10 minutes.They also do illegal stuff like change your odds after you put them but that’s standard stuff unfortunately. Usually you can be told to sod off promptly though over email without spending half the day to do it. When I pointed this out to the chat agent I had spent 40 minutes with she completely ghosted me.

Have deposited £10 via bank transfer but never received the money. Contacted via chat and they asked to provide a full bank statement which is absurd when they can simply search for my name in their receiving account rather than having me compromising my privacy. They won’t do anything about it and simply closed the chat. Be careful everyone!

Hi,I have an account with Betfair for a few years, at beginning, it was good. But suddenly they closed my account for business reasons, and for more than 2 months without any feedback, and I still have some money in my account not being refund. I chat with a moran agent, he said there was no pending deposit for my account, so no money will be refunded.But this is no logic, the money in my account is my mi, not yours.But anyway this company is going down and down.Keep away from it.

Hardly any bonus spins whatsoever and when you do get a bonus spin eventually!!! it’s a very very poor bonus amount even on higher stakes like £0.80 £1.00 £2.00 even £4.00 spins. I closed my account due to the fact it takes way too long to get anything back so you end up losing out completely with no returns. I would say this is the worst for slot game payouts unfortunately.

An absolutely garbage company! Not content for being too mingebag to offer best odds, unlike every other online betting company I know of, they’ve now decided to bring in some crappy, long-winded deposit process, which involves about a dozen steps, (if you’re lucky enough to get that far) only for it to fail, and then tell you your deposit limit is up, and that the payment is ‘Pending’! Take no notice; it will NEVER arrive! I’ve complained half a dozen times to the idiots on the ‘Chat’ waste of time, all to no avail. Utter rubbish. Swerve them at all costs!

Blocked my account after twelve years because I am winning. Then withheld my funds, I gave them appropriate documentation was made to wait fifteen hours for customer service, then they were evasive and tried to pass me from pillar to post without resolving the issues or returning my funds. Very dishonest firm and I will be going to the gaming commision and the metropolitan police

I recently opened an account with Betfair, deposited funds, and placed a bet using part of my balance. Shortly after, my account was suspended without warning, leaving me unable to access my remaining funds.When I attempted to withdraw my money, I was blocked from doing so due to the suspension. I contacted customer support via chat and was asked to provide a significant amount of personal information. After complying, I requested that my account be closed and my remaining balance returned to me.To my surprise, I have now been placed on a one-year self-exclusion, which I never requested. This not only prevents me from accessing my funds but also stops me from using Betfair’s services for the next year, despite this not being my decision.The lack of transparency, difficulty in retrieving my own money, and the forced self-exclusion make this a frustrating and concerning experience. I would advise others to be cautious before depositing funds with Betfair.

I actually won for a change but had issues withdrawing my money due to my card changing. It would only let me withdraw a small amount. It said due to NET deposit issues.I went online and they spent a while taking me through the process

Beware betfair on line chat Been on a live chat to resolve an issue were my acc was wrongly CLOSED YEARS AGO NOW IVE BEEN TOLD SUPPLY LETTER linked to my address & PROOF OF ID THEN ILL GET REOPENED BUT AFTER SPEAKING FOR OVER 2hours 35 mins when I gave up because no response ne was answering my calls to chat and THE reassuring words from staff of betfair it will be resolved ? These people are going from bad to worse. And the 5 star reviews below are a total con sent by themselves. Sportsbook side of the company ate the worst on the planet by far and is run by one of the muppets for sure. Very inconsistent and can never know when youlle get a bet on. Fine one day for a couple of hundred then suddenly the next day £50 max then 10 then 200 then 10 then 5 etc etc. The muppets of world betting for sure who send in their own reviews. Their management are straight out of the bush.

I spoke with Camilla on live chat today. After having some trouble figuring out an issue, she put my mind right at ease and sorted the issue straight away. No messing about, straight to the point! I advise everyone to avoid or cancel the site . Just got robbed last night 3k,wouldn’t let me withdraw it. Lost ma bank card so added new card ,same bank account just new card and someone asking me for picture of the bank card that I’ve lost and they would let me deposit but not withdraw. I’ve heard other stories when they changed people’s betting slips when big bets were close to be winner. Avoid it every one

Starting a new account, you can add funds and lose with impunity. However, as soon as you win, and want to withdraw, they need to verify who you are. I wouldn’t be so upset if I had to verify myself before a deposit, but only after a win???? And, their verification system asks you for one thing at a time. They know the bank account the deposit came from, but ignore that information. They ask for a statement. They ask for proof of address. They ask for a copy of your bank card. Then they ask for another bank statement showing your deposit to Betfair, ignoring that in real life you get one statement a month, and that you have to wait for it. Betfair have now lost a customer because of this, and because their document uploader is temperamental. They could do better. They should do better. To make the experience better and fairer to their customers.

So i was playing on Give me gold:rising rewards. I was playing £10 spins because the Gold Mine cart was full to the top and was just a matter of time before it paid out it was bulging! When it explodes you get a Mega, Major, minor or mini payout, the Mega was over £10,000 and lowest the mini several hundred so was guaranteed at lest that. However as i kept spinning the cart was at its fullest only for the game to flash up Restart or Exit. I did this several times but it would not let me spin £10 a spin? HOWEVER, it would permit me to spin 20p,40p and 50p the lowest ammounts and of course the mine cart blew and i was awarded £12.50p rather than the several hundred pounds i would have recieved off a £10 spin!!!! If these slots are not fixed i dont know what is.COMPLETE CON BETFAIR YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!

I made an “instant” bank transfer withdrawal which I was then informed wasn’t instant at all. Spoke to an advisor on chat who consistently lied to me, he initially told me withdrawals take 2-5 days; then backtracked to 24 hours. I then provided a screenshot from their own website which informs that they offer “instant” bank transfer withdrawals. Advisor then agreed with me that is instant, but in “rare” cases they can take up to 24 hours. Disappointing experience being lied to and there being no resolution for this. I would have withdrew through debit card had they not advertised the bank transfer as instant.
