Betfair have decided to change their terms and conditions of settling bets without telling its customers. Lucky 15s are not paid out double on one winner. You cannot phone to complain, only online chat, whereby you have a written conversation with someone who is talking to 5 people at the same time about completely different things. Been a customer for many years-not valued

Once again Betfair guaranteed odds did not apply to my bet. Must have put it on too early in the morning or for some other reason which is NOT as well publicised as the claim to offer best odds. They clearly do offer this but not for all races all the time!!! Make it clearer Betfair or change the rules to fit the marketing!!!

I do play slots on betfair exchange and it was fine at the beginning but recently played starbust and i hit stars on 2nd and 4th row and orange diamonds in-between, so already big win and maybe will hit one more row stars but suddenly pop up message appeared with retry error message and the game just froze, when i reloaded the page manually lost the session and no win at all, also similar thing happen to legacy of dead hit the bonus game and the game froze again. Will not bother with customer support coz they are always right. My monthly budget is 3k but i will play on another casino. Never had such a problem with other casinos, please avoid betfair scam company.

Placed a bet that won on betfair and it went down as a loss. I complained and they said it would take hours to look in to. This is a game that was live on tv and results posted on BBC sports site. This isn't the first time for this to happen. I have never had a situation where they have accidentally paid out incorrectly, the errors only seem to happen on my winning bets.

There's something very dodgy about Betfair. 2 football matches I had recently put money on were cancelled/ postponed but I never got my stake back. It just seemed to have 'disappeared'. Thankfully it wasn't much. Also I was backing a match at under 4.5 goals. The odds were 1/5 at the start and when one of the teams scored the odds went to 1/9. How the hell does that work ?????!!!!!!!

Issue with my account logging in. Get told to use web chat, same routine, same questions, keeps going around in circles, issue never resolved and after 1 hour and 10 minute delay between each chat, the agents just stopped responding and a new chat session started. Absolute joke.

Absolute joke. Placed a bet late on in football game, cashed out straight away. The cash out bar went to the very end and instead of showing successful cash out, it stayed grey for 7 seconds before the market was suspended and the game opposition scored causing the bet to lose. But I had already cashed out before this point. Contacted chat they denied a return of stake. Contacted escalations and they said there's no record of a cash out attempt! I'm £8000 out because of their rubbish system and unwillingness to put customers first before their greedy pockets and trust on flawed systems.

I totally agreed with most of the bad reviews below. I have been using Betfair for so many years. Recently I did think I am been losing money on my account. I text message to my VIP manager to mention the issue. No reply at all. I decided to close my account and ask them to take my card detail away. They said they can't do it by live chat. So I ask my bank to cancel my cards. Please do not go to this company. They are a thief. avoid!

Wish they had zero stars

I didn't even have that much money and they blocked my account, and held up my money for months, they kept lying and saying they had to verify it, perhaps it is a slow process or they are just liars

either way you will lose your money and never see it again. I have a few hundred pounds lost to them and I can't afford a lawyer to get it back.

This company has turned out to be crooks. I think they are going bankrupt soon, as i've heard lots of similar stories of them refusing to payout

The exchange is superb, a must to try, but the Sportsbook is a total joke!! Tried to have £40 on an early priced Greyhound.. They put up 4/1, but would only lay me £1,25p!!! Can you believe that?? Betfair Sportsbook is a total disgrace, and should be struck off!!!

What a joke and complete waste of time on live chat with these dikheds. I use my account that I've had for years at least twice a week for football betting. Today I placed 3 different bets. I wacth the one game that goes In my favour . I couldn't remember my other games so go to log in to check my bets. I can't access my account. It's been closed. Apparently I have another account that I can't remember that if has been used it hasn't been for years. They close my current account and tell me I can never access it again and that I need to use my old one. I may have won (although I'm pretty sure i didn't) but that's not the point. I have a right to see my bets I placed the same day. The lady on the chat wouldn't reason with me or call me even though I kept asking to speak to somebody over the phone. Wouldn't even acknowledge my request to be called. Kept telling me I can only use my old account. Apparently the phone lines have discontinued. Fishy? Joke? Bull! When I speak to someone on the betting lines they can access my account and tell me about my bets. Why can't I have my account back? You can see it . Fuc in joke of a company. I will never put another penny Into your company. Stick your betting where the sun don't shine. S h I t customer service. I'm fuming about the whole thing.

Had no issues for the first few months , started winning and then had to update a new card payment , bets won and also have a few football bets outstanding, then suspended my account and asked me to provide I.D with photo & utility bill , both provided , I then asked about my money and open bets ….. no reply and chat shut down , now I cannot log in to chat , very poor

Don’t use them big scammers. As long you lose they very efficient as soon you need to resolve any issue there is no phone number no direct email address and live chat is only let them know then forget about it as you not going to get any reply. Live chat agent totally useless will terminate the chat before you come to any solution. Most of the time they don’t have a clue. If you wish to speak to someone you can’t my friend there is no one there for support beware recommend you not to use them at all.

For the second time this week I have been robbed by Betfair as once again I placed edged bets, reduced odds on place bets, only for Betfair to advise the each way box wasnt ticked LIARS as I had my bet checked before placing it

Put a bet on today and edged all legs of the bet but Betfair only payed out on one winner whereas under the edge bet they should have paid out under the two second placed horses as well when i contacted customer service got fobbed off by rep saying this would be passed to traders with no timescale given for any reply then i got two standard survey questions for which i gace them nil

Betfair have suspended my account and are withholding my access to funds because I cannot provide them with a picture of my ‘Apple Pay Card’ that I’ve used to make payments to them with. Yep, that’s right an Apple Pay Card. The customer services rep seem wilfully ignorant that such a thing does not exist, and don’t seem to be aware of the mechanics of Apple Pay. Reading the other reviews on here I can only conclude that Betfair are now rogue and best avoided. If you use an exchange try Smarkets, Matchbook or Betdaq, anyone but these gangsters.

4/1/20… Kempton 4.40, Love my life 5/1 on course and the exchange had it at 10/1 right up until the off.All the appalling odds on the place side of the race in extra place races only started to appear when Paddypower bought Betfair about 2 years ago.How you would permit a bookmaker buying an exchange with all the possibilities for abuse that entails i have no idea.It is about time the monopolies commission had a bloody long hard look at what is being done.

They have suspended my account because I was talking about the bad year I have had with personal issues losing my Job at end of year and son and ex partner who has Huntingdon's Disease. I was querying a loyalty bonus that was offered as didn't get a payment i was expecting today and wanted see if I could use it Monday or something and this cow decides to Suspend my account because I tell her about a few personal issues! Went on a football match on the exchange it got abandoned at halftime , betfairs rules state if not played within 3 days you get you stake refunded , nothing happened got in touch with customer service , well if you can call it that ,they asked for my bet id , looked for it it had disappeared but my first half bet which I lost on was still there have bet fair got the rights to steal your money they should be rebranded betunfair , it's about time everybody boycott it for a week let's see what happens then

Placed a bet of £100 total return was £130. Money is taken out of my bank instantly but withdrawals take 2-5 days. Typical of these sites. I asked why and told it's the way it is! I bank with Lloyds. I'm informed if I banked with HSBC, BARCLAYS it's same day. What difference does my bank make if it's a major high street bank? It's time these online sites were ordered to pay out as quickly as they take the stake.

Why does it take so long getting Betfair to transfer money/winnings bk to your bank 😕😕 ??? Befair is pretty much a 364 day operation and most banks operate the same…n if it's possible to deposit at a weekend either to Betfair or for friends and family into our bank account….why does it take Betfair 5 days to make this transfer…not happy at all…Betfair do a fast cash transfer but only with 3 UK banks n guess what my bank is not one of them…it's all in betfairs favour n try contacting them about it…they dangle you with an agent for ages…so fellow punters beware 😢😢😢

I USE THE EXCHANGE MAINLY….. Best site for liquidity and choice of markets. Low commision now with the 2% option. Plenty of in play options. Very speedy withdrawal of funds into your account within a couple of hours. The best exchange around by far. I have tried others namely Betdaq and Matchbook but BETFAIR is by far the best.

I went on the slots in a moment of madness and almost couldn't lose. Racked up £400 and then it was just as if the browser feed changed and every game just eats money. I might be wrong but I reckon they weight winning for new players to draw you in and then farm you.
