Disgusting customer support. Was having issues with a particular number on my computer and accidentally locked myself out for entering the wrong password several times. Six weeks later and after plenty of emails later the charlatans still haven’t contacted me or resolved what should be a simple problem to rectify. Steer clear as there are better Exchange options out there. Can’t give them no stars so they get o0ne through gritted teeth.

My account was suspended earlier this year on the issue of self-exclusion. I have never self-excluded from any Betfair product (nor from any of their so called betting partners). Despite providing all documents etc requested by them – my account remains suspended despite numerous conversations with their “chat-bot”, various agents and via e-mail. I’m a) still none the wiser for the actual reason for my account closure and b) at no point have I been informed as to the whereabouts of the £ that was in my account at the time. Betfair’s customer service in this case has been an absolute disgrace – unfortunately it is almost impossible to take things further with them as you keep having to go right back to the start everytime you contact them!! As a comparision I had a small issue with an account with another betting exchange company – this was resolved via a chat with a real person in under 5 minutes!! My issue with Betfair has now dragged on for close on 5 MONTHS!

Not a great experience with BetFair especially as it cost me £820.In the weeks before the FA Cup Semi-final they posted adverts on SkySport and TalkSport to the effect that your bet would be settle at 90 minutes if it was beneficial to the punter. My bet was a winning bet at 90 minutes but BetFair did not settle the bet when in the additional nine minutes the result changed but BetFair did not settle the bet.Years ago betting was honourable unfortunately BetFair has shown themselves to be a DISHONEST Company by WELCHING on a bet. Shame on you Betfair.

This company has totally dishonest. When I joined BetFair everything was fine and I after confirming my email etc I was authorised to continue through to the site and play the games . I won just over £10 so decided to withdraw the money and make sure everything was ok. As soon as I tried to withdraw my account was suspended and I have to produce identification to unlock my account and withdraw the money. I contacted them as I don’t have any photo identification except for my voters identification card but they won’t accept that. I am in the electoral role and the bank account I have registered in BetFair is in my name and registered to the same address given . When I have joined other betting sites I am usually automatically approved as they can confirm I’m over 18 and am a real person by searching my name(electoral role, banks etc). I thought maybe this was one of them occasions when the computer just picks someone randomly for extra security checks. Unfortunately it seems that BetFair regularly operate this way as a relative of mine signed up and had win £16 . When he tried to withdraw the money it kept changing from withdraw to deposit!!!! How and why does it do that. After being told he had been confirmed to participate in the site as soon as he requested his money his account was suspended until he provides identification again . However no identification was required to play the games and gamble . No identification was required to deposit funds but as soon as you try to withdraw that’s it account suspended until identification documents are provided. If there was any uncertainty about a person’s identity shouldn’t it be checked before being allowed to gamble . I don’t even think they’re worth giving one star but I can’t write a review with zero stars

I moved to Australia from the UK and had to open a brand new account as you can’t switch the currency over… This wasnt a huge problem till I was faced with a ban on my AU account. Phoned them up to just be told it cant be reversed and is a permanent ban. I have used the UK Betfair for years and never had a problem. Very annoyed to be honest!

REDIRECTED reviews seem very fishey indeed.betfair slots RTP is so wrong. it now takes over 200 spins to get a bonus and that bonus pays very little.this site used to be fair but now its very unfair dot com.

I thought the customer service was excellent. I placed a bet on the 3.15 at Market Rasen on 21/6/24 on the exchange market. My horse refused to run and I asked for a refund which was denied but the lady made me feel better about giving bet fair £6. Joking aside she was very nice.

A small Win and Place bet on a horse which Placed at 1.85, my £3 for the Place resulted in a 23p LOSS. Contacted Betfair support, but the Exchange team has finished for the day. A note left on my account for the Traders in the morning. It can take a while but they usually fix the error. Just don’t get caught on a Dead Heat as they halve the stake AND the odds. Naughty.

I created an account to bet on sports as the EURO is on. After you create an account you are welcome to deposit with everything saying “Get to action” and everything. So you deposit the money because that’s what you want to do. Afterwards, you can’t bet because you didn’t upload your documents. So you upload your documents because you have already deposited. After the verification process, which takes around 20-60 minutes, it seems like time to bet… BUT NO…Your account is suspended, so you contact the chat for help, and they say you have to upload even more documents, which (In my Opinion) shouldn’t be asked by betting companies. At this point I’ve just stopped, let them have money and lower their rating.

I had forgotten my password and a reset code was sent to my old phone number so could not login.A customer service agent Naveen directed me through the process of updating my account and thus I’m now logged in .Very good customer service.

Terrible company. Look all gambling sites are deceitful and only care about making money. The live casino games are all rigged using rule based algorithms for RTP% so they are never truley random. The slots are a joke and the free daily promotions are pathetic winning on average 10p. Prob they only decent thing is sportbook but that needs improving.

I had an account with this company for over 20 yrs. It was closed, with no reason communicated other than “for business reasons” following many months of reviews during which I provided bank statements/credit card details/investment details.The communication process is probably the worst in any industry. They have a “customer service” response by X (twitter), who don’t understand gambling, and can barely communicate in English.They used to be the leading betting exchange and people had little alternative but to put up with this, but now other companies exist.People will still feel a betting exchange account with this company is required to understand what’s happening in a sporting event, but I am not sure its worth the grief.Expect it to take 2-3 weeks to get a senseless reply from them.For your sanity, if you open an account with them, get alternatives you can use down the road.

If it weren’t for Kayla it would have been a 1 star but my issue was reasonably resolved and I am very appreciative for her communication and understanding. Even when she told me no about a request it was reasonable of her to do so and she communicated why. Some of the agents seem like bots even though they are people and I encourage anyone getting a difficult agent to try until you find someone helpful because they do exist and Kayla is an example. To Betfair, please make sure your agents answer questions instead of repeating taking points. A “no” is a better answer than a copy and pasted response that was previously in the chat and is completely irrelevant to the question posed. In gaming CS is critical.

I never have any issues with using Betfair. It’s actually a very easy and fun platform to do a bit of gambling or trading. Love their promotional offers as well. The customer service is great too 👍 😊

Similar to another recent review here. I’ve been a customer for 20 years. My account has been suspended for 6 weeks and I’m still waiting to withdraw winnings from the snooker world championship which finished a month ago. (Well over £1000) I didn’t want to send documents forThe third time in 12 months but felt bullied in to doing it in order to get my money but as I say it’s been weeks. Live chat is a complete waste of time. Even when you get past the robot to human stage you still feel like you’re talking to a robot because they don’t know anything and never help or explain anything hats going on. They just fob you off and say they will contact the relevant department. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys. I understand they have to be careful when it comes to responsible gambling but how is it legal or morally right that they can withhold hundreds or thousands of pounds for weeks on end? And they don’t give you any prior notice about account suspensions. Really really poor customer experience and they clearly couldn’t care less. So after twenty years I’m done. Bet ‘FAIR’ ??? Hmmm I don’t think so. Absolute shambles.

I have a fraudulent claim from betfair with my bank account and Andrew collegue of bet fairs has been nothing but 100% helpful for me. I’m not a gambler myself. The odd grand national and bingo nights out but not an addiction more of a pleasure of mine. I love playing bingo and winning at the casino most times when. I go. I bet no more than £10 a day and Andrew from betfair is hopefully gonna help me get back all my money. Without his help today I didn’t know where to turn. He has been a god send for a bi polar patient. If I could score 100% I would. Simply a pleasure to deal with. A pleasure. I know who to bet with in the future now after all this has been sorted. The automated system declined me for 4 days. I opened a chat, dumped my documents, and in a mere 2 minutes Pradeep sorted my verification and I was good to go. Excellent customer service!

Their customer service help is the worst I have encountered. If you phone they can do nothing but say they will contact the relevant team, and then nothing happens. If you use the live chat then god help you…you get through to someone in another country who has no clue what you are asking, then transfers you to another team etc etc….all with huge delays. I emailed the CEO about this but never even got a reply. Betfair have gone down the pan in recent years

If you are playing 2.5 up, if you are playing 2.5 up, the matches with a probability of 2.5 up are not visible on your screen, but you can find them by searching, I’m not talking about the casino section, they allow you to win 1 time from a small bet, for example 0.You get 2 for 30 and don’t expect to win without losing 300-400 again, the bonus system is terrible, if you lose 1000 as soon as you don’t opt, the live chat automatically closes you, if I continue to talk about the injustices done, I will become so long that I will forget what I wrote.
