Blocked my account because a debit card at the same address was used. Took the money and wouldn’t honour the bet. Now the account is disabled. Called to get my money back and was put on hold to the most shocking music you could imagine. They agreed to put the money back but wouldn’t honour the winnings Who wants to bet with these bandits anyway

Absolute Scam of a company! Depositing money into my account and placing a couple of bets on the Euro 2024 Final. They decided to close my account. Refused to refund any money deposited or any winnings. Also refused to give any reason as to why my account was closed without warning.

BetFred wouldn’t accept bets on the evening of Euro 2024 Final. They happily took new deposits, then would show error messages when trying to PLACE bets. Support (after a MASSIVE wait) stated:”Due to a large amount of bets being placed at once we are experiencing a few placement issues. The IT team are working on a fix.”Due to BetFred’s IT crash, I missed the start of the Euro2024 Final, I wasted 30 minutes on BetFred, and I lost out on £17 delta of winnings. Avoid these jokers like the plague. The man ultimately responsible is Andrew Daniels, CIO, he’s out of his depth.

IMPORTANT – WITHOUT PREJUDICE.I have been in contact with the Betfred Customer Experience Team and tge Ringwood Branch and they do not care about Customers as they only want your hard earned money. In my genuine experience they cannot be trusted as they are deceptive, cruel, heartless and nasty as they discriminate against disabled/vulnerable citizens as I have proved.

As a new customer I wanted to place a bet for England to win in the cup final. After several attempts I was finally able to deposit some money but could i place a bet….no chance. I thought I’d try the live chat but I couldn’t even get through to them. Overall experience was not good at all but it seems they’re the overall winners as they’ve still got my money!!!

Con company. Take your money and don’t honour their advertised 100 free spins promo. Despite doing everything they said. After spending SEVEN hourd on hold over 3 days told they basically didnt care and would escalate it. After a further SEVEN hours and EIGHTEEN emails they finally replied and said they’d escalate it again. When i said id like to complain and compensation they hung up on me and back to square one. And this is all towards a FIRST CUSTOMERS FIRST EXPERIENCE with them. God only knows how they treat loyal customers. Way to put off a new customer. Shocking customer service and attitude.

*1. All fine by the company, but support team takes to long to answer any query. Also, whilst waiting, the answer they repeat “let us know if you are still there” is unsatisfactory & unprofessional. I hope this can be addressed. As you know, customers are under pressure & wish to get issues sorted out quickly. *2. When withdrawing on line, it says only £5 can be withdrawn at any one time. They making it really difficult to receive my bonus for joining up. Placed a bet and deposited £10, did everything you have to do to qualify for the £50 in free bets but they constantly asking for I.D. already sent my driving licence and utility bill in which is what was asked for but they now asking for selfies and all my passport details aswell. This was a new site that I visited. I would definitely not recommend this site to anyone. Within 2 days I put in around £1100 and withdrew £90. I am a new customer. Everytime I tried to use my free bet in an accumulator, the app never gave me the option to use the funds! No matter what sport I tried it would not allow this to happen. Joined last week received 150 free spins for depositing £10. Free spins can only be played on certain games which I get but then you have to use all 150 on one chosen game. Won a grand total of £3.52 then wonvnothing with that. To be honest the games aren’t great at all so I will be deleting my account and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. A scam for new customers. Offers a total of £50 of free bets when you place £10 on odds of even or above. The terms and conditions are so confusing and I added a code mentioned in the T&cs Tried to contact customer service on web chat waited over half an hour on 3 occasions / no kne around. I ends up emailing support and asked where my free bets where to be told because I had added a promotion code which I have no clue what it relates to – it was in the T&Cs for new customers for the free bet promotion, that I am not entitled to free bets – eh ??? I have emailed the chief executive to complain – it’s not about the money but the fact they try to scam people ! Also not very friendly for neurodivergent people – useless Information overload.

If I could have gave zero stars I would. Just told them to close my account. Today I signed up and deposited money on my Betfred account. Won £4000 on big bass splash and decided to instruct the usual withdrawal process. I continued playing for another 20 mins and all of sudden my account “temporary restriction call customer service on 0800 number.” I got kicked out of the account and unable to re access it. I called their customer service and everything sounded VERY SHADY. None of them could give me a timeframe or ETA of when I can a) access my account (which has funds in it) b) to be told that my withdrawal of winnings is under review with no reason or ETA, they over rid my instructions to withdraw c) reason to why they are treating people like this; happy enough to take my data and money and seem to do shady practices when it comes to paying out. I spent roughly 45minutes on the phone to their customer service who by the way couldn’t give a single explanation. Does this need to be escalated to the proper authorities for poor practices?
