The customer service is a joke thay have no time for there customer the prospects of getting any worthwhile bonus is nearly impossible and even if you try every method going to contact them should it be bay Phone/Twitter/email and the live chat that doesn't axlay exist you will be trying a long long time

they stole my money? i set up an account they took my deposit then???? er nothing. couldn't bet, couldn't even draw out the money they just stole,it came up with contact customer support,tryed that couldn't get through. tryed emailing nothing. went back to my account and what a surprise nothing,couldn't even get in to my account told wrong password or something which is 100% bull because my login details was saved then i couldn't even reset password cant remember what excuse it gave me but it wasn't a right one, might as well of took my bank details to. oh no.

Agree with other reviewers regarding slot returns. Very poor regardless of how much money you spend. I use Betfred for sport and lottery bets. They recently started offering NetEnt games so I started playing slots. However, it only pays out pennies. I’ve had no issues with this company when placing bets but steer well clear for slots. Coral and Netbet much better for slot payouts.

Don't trust their slots. They are not regulated & are dishonest. When they tell you it's random it's only coming from a representative who is told what to say. Ask them to explain the process of how it's regulated in detail. They can not. They will give you a link to look yourself which explains nothing. Ask them for your RTP% on a game, they will not give it, only your spin history. Yet they can track all your bets & profit & losses & automatically stake restrict you on sports. They are a fraudulent company. Avoid.

Have spent quite a lot of money on this site but suddenly came up account blocked. Tried to reset but saying wrong info(which it is not) sent 6 emails but no reply but they managed to take my money for bets before it was blocked. Saying used wrong details but they are saved on my betfred app

Promotions / Customer Service One of the worst companies I've experienced on this regard. The promotions are so bad, giving next to nothing away they are insulting so better off not offering anything. For example - 25% back on net casino losses up to a maximum of £5.00 refund.... Offering a daily promotion and either the link doesn't work or your lucky to win 10p just so you open up the game. Promotions so heavily linked to the virtual games its unbelievable. As for Customer service its truly awful. Yes we are in exceptional times but I see no reason why Live Chat can't continue yet only offer contact via e mail that literally takes days to get a reply if at all. Any questions asked or problems are brushed over with absolutely no help whatsoever given. Its just TAKE TAKE TAKE and try to suck every penny out of you. Betfred the Bonus King - give me a break!!!

Tried to rate zero stars but had to select one. Some time ago, I did the bet £10 get £30 free bet promotion. My £10 bet won, but they did everything they could to stop paying the £30 free bets. I threatened to call the police and the soon coughed up. Cowboys ! - not good PR if an online betting company Welshes on their bets.

Con artists. I have had an account with betfred for many years, way before they required a security question and answer. Unable to login to my account recently due to forgetting password etc i was unable to retrieve the password as there was no security question setup. I then created a new account to bet on the Grand National and deposited £20 for 4 bets. Minutes later, the account was cancelled by Beftred as they deemed it a duplicate account. No problem please refund my money then. I used the Paypal resolution center to make my complained and request the refund. Matty from Customer Services told me that they wouldn't refund my deposit as if the bets had come up winners, the winnings would have been honored. I disputed this with paypal, even pointing them to the Betfred Terms & Conditions which clearly state that if they cancel an account deem as a duplicate, they would void all winnings and refund any deposits. Clearly Matty was blatantly lying as per the T&C's I escalated this to Paypal again, linking them to the T&C's only for paypal to refused the refund. Betfred are complete con artists not even abiding by their own terms and conditions and sadly, paypal are just as bad.

Would not bother using this company, seems from the reviews they have been upto there old tricks for years, did not get my free bet because I placed a £5.00 bet by accident, I followed up with a £10.00 bet literally a minute after, because of this they are not giving the bet, not only this,I had a horse win at 9-1 not on SP 2.50 ew. And was paid £13.00... I questioned this and again no reply, they are useless. And ontop of not getting the free bet, they send me the terms and conditions again, despite having 2 parts to them! I know they can credit the bets, but they wont reply, would suggest staying far away from these people. Use bet354, skybet ect they are 100% better. And for horse betters, they dont even have form, last ran ect... and half the time, the video play back that you have to bet on to watch doesnt work, I have 5 screen shots of this saying check your connection, it was not an error on my side... Update, I said if your not going to pay my bonus, delete my account, so they blocked it 😂. Absolute scum... please please dont use them.

Couldn't Care Less! Turned over £45,000 on the live casino and losing a far amount in the process I asked the question if this deserved any loyalty bonus apart from the comp points which returned £40.00. My reply was a flat NO as we offer plenty of other promotions and don't award bonuses..... As stated virtually all the promotions are for the virtual casino that is guaranteed returns for them. Qualified for one promotion winning 3 x 10p spins (not bad for the £45,000 investment) and won 35p...... How you become a VIP level customer if there are any is a mystery and still wouldn't even change my points conversion rate from the standard 1000pts to £10.00 (basically 1% return) The other promotion I continually couldn't load the game to access the offer and their response is its finished now and hard luck! Customer care at Betfred is truly appalling even to the point they sent me someone else's e mail saying they've locked her account with no reason given. On her complaining it took 4 days for them to even reply! If your expecting a fair playing field and want to feel even slightly valued then don't join Betfred!

do the Irish lottery with tickets from a syndicate which are quite a few you have a option to mark these as favourites, hoping that you could just click and they could be entered the following week, but no so you have to do them all again, so I don't know the idea of marking them as favourites does, I know I could say how many weeks I want them for but then I would have to pay up for so many weeks in advance. so only 3 stars from me So I will have to carry on like this till after the lockdown then go back to the local coral shop as there is no betfred local

Rubbish bookmaker. All promotions weighted heavily to get you to play the virtual games, I wonder why.....!!! Spend and turnover thousands of pounds on the live casino and still denied any kickback or bonuses and certainly unappreciated. Any promotions or free bets are insulting and extremely poor. All I've received is 3 free 10p spins winning me 35p....truly shocking! Only e mails being received which take days to get a reply. Wouldn't advise to anyone!

Clearly have hired someone who failed all there gcse have gave them a job after being rejected by asda . I didn’t use my account for 10 years received an email saying I have money in there . I had no idea what my security answer was so sent an email enquiring how to go about this .. 1 week later Having looked into your account, I can confirm that the account had been blocked for three unsuccessful attempts at the security answer on the account. It has now been unblocked and, should you enter your answer correctly, you should be able to access the account. Properly the host helpful response I have ever received

Wow.....wow is all i can say. Betfred took over moplay who owed me £440, betfred say its £40🤦🏿♂️. After weeks of me emailing them, they finally listened and managed to follow an instruction to allow me log in 🤦🏿♂️. 34 emails before they understood, then this morning they closed my account due to me "emailing" them to much over them not being able to follow clear instructions to let me log in 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️. Absolute scum, racist, abusive, thick, purely stupid people. The 1 star is 10 stars to high. Corrupt to the core. AVOID

I opened an account yesterday in order to place a bet on the virtual grand national where all the profits are meant to be going to the NHS. I placed bets for family members some of whom won small amount. When I came to claim betfred have locked my account. Furthermore they are not providing any support by either phone or email. Please do not place any bets with them until you confirm that the company is not closing as I suspect.

Awful bookmakers. I won free spins on 2 different occasions only for them to deny me all of them. They kept making excuses and when I could prove my point they just ignored it. If you are looking for a trust worthy bookmaker you should look elsewhere.

Do not trust this bookies to keep your account incognito,they will tell anyone you have a account with them without asking who they are speaking to or ask any security questions, this as cost me everything, marriage, home,children. Spoke to head of complaints who just told me that because they had not discussed my activities of my account that I didn't have a case.I have seeking legal advice but with covid19 they are not taking new cases at present. Anger inducing experience. Never recieved my bingo bonus, so tried, tried & tried again to contact chat. Although I was supposedly 1st in the queue - waiting & waiting for the longest time! In the end I emailed, enquiring about my bonuses whereabouts, no reply as of yet,& tbh, I'm really not expecting one. Chat veers between "1st in the queue" to "sorry chat is not available right now, please email..." so basically it's hit & miss, terrible, kissed my bonus goodbye - won't be using again that's for sure.

I feel its my duty to warn people over the mistreatment I have received by this bookmakers CS staff who are by far the worst I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. It is shocking to think that Betfred are a big name in the bookmaker market and that they are buying up other bookmakers where I can only despair in how poor their service is and how deceitful their practices are regarding awarding of free bets. I signed up to the bet £10 and get £40 offer for Cheltenham placing a bet in good faith but never received an SMS from them to validate my account. Then I queried it and even had to change my SIM card and phone for them to tell me that it would be sent at a designated time. It was not sent at this designated time and then when I chased it up, I was told once again to get a new SMS and try with the new number again. The excuses (lies) I was told by their advisor was that my phone or network must be blocking that SMS but two others come the same evening from Betfred for two other promotions. Therefore, proving that what they were saying was a lie. They never sent the SMS so beware and don't ever challenge or criticise them in any way as their 'fragile' egos will take it to heart and they will become triggered and then 'self exclude' you from their services, even though they do not have the right to do this as its a tool for the customer! Betfred are shockingly bad and their sign up promotion is actually prejudice because as some customers do not have to go thru this process whilst others have to. Then they DO NOT SEND THE SMS SO YOU ARE UNABLE TO VERIFY AND THEY WILL NOT BUDGE OR ASSIST YOU, THEN MAKE COUNTLESS LIES AND EXCUSES NOT TO AWARD FREE BETS. They have actually falsified an agreement too by stating I agreed and consented to self excluding actually asking for this! lol! However, it was THEIR BUTTHURT TEAM LEADER JOHN A(HOLE) THAT TOOK THIS ON HIMSELF TO DO THIS WITH THEIR GAMECARE TEAM APPARENTLY so I actually contacted GamCare and they said they should not be abusing and using the self exclude this way to effectively ban customers who complain about their SH***Y SERVICE AND POOR ATTITUDE and because I am a women they thought I would be more agreeable and let the male staff walk all over me! Nah, not this lady! I will be taking maters further such as writing to Mr Fred Done who's details are under Companies House registration, The Advertising Standards Authority for discriminatory practices regarding their welcome offer, The Gambling Commission due to their abuse and misuse of the 'self exclude' function (plus they still sent me promotional texts and emails after self exclusion...…..ID1*TS, and I am also writing to the MP responsible for Gambling with a full copy of correspondence indicating their lies where they told me three different times the one SMS was sent which is impossible. They get all butthurt and act like children rather than be professional and do your job, acting like snowflakes when you call them out and ask for their proof of claims, which they never supply. They breach your consumer rights and act like they are an authority above the customer. Betfred is always right (not)!?!? Shocking back-street bookie posing as a respectful high street brand! People need to start taking these complaints all the way as this will put a spanner in the works towards the monopoly they are clearly working towards. They are so aloof and bad enough now, please do not give them more power which has gone to their naff staffs heads! They are just little people on minimum wage. I took my fixed-odds football coupon to the till, and I was told that the "odds have changed". I was disappointed and feel that my time had been wasted. If the odds are printed on the coupon, then Betfred should honour those odds or remove the coupons from display, or state on the coupon that the odds are not fixed. So Betfred are lazy too. In many many years of enjoying fixed-odds coupons, I have never been confronted with "the odds have changed" by the staff. So now I cannot trust the odds on Betfred's coupons, and will no longer use these miserable bookmakers. I wasted more time writing a complaint to Warrington, but I received an abysmal reply from Luke Dresser the Retail Customer Service Advisor, and not even a note of sympathy or a free bet to offset my experience. AVOID Betfred bookmakers because they are rotten, as the many reviews here testify.

Opend an account Friday morning to receive £30 free bets for Cheltenham festival once I staked £10 , it’s now Sunday evening and after speaking to the most ignorant customer service team have been told that I am not eligible for the welcome bonus as there has already been an account registered from my address , I know this is a lie as I have lived here for 23 years and have never had a betfred account before , I believe this company is the biggest scam going and would avoid at all costs

Betfred is a scam company who will not withdraw the correct money from your account.also the customer service is terrible, spoke to Samantha on Saturday looking for some assistance and to be put it nicely she is not the most intelligent person. I then placed a bet as this would be refunded due to the deal being advertised along with receiving an amount of free bets. This morning Betfred have decided to close my account with no explanation as apparently this is something they can do... They are then unable to refund me my original bet and offer me my free bets! Absolutely dreadful. Do not signup to this company. They send you bogus ‘bonus offers’ and then don’t honour them after they’ve taken your money. Customer service is without doubt the worst of all the betting sites. ‘Customer Service’ Advisors are rude, disinterested and make it clear they are only there because no decent company would employ them.
