Jane at the Bury St Edmunds store has just finished the final touches to our lounge - it’s absolutely stunning! From start to finish the design process has been wonderful - gently steering us with ideas but really listening to our needs and how we use the space. The result is so clever - making the best of pieces of furniture we already loved and bringing the room together in a way that we could never have achieved. Having somewhere that we all love as a family is really special - thank you Jane and everyone from the Bury St Edmunds store!

First of all I have to say that the kitchen is beautiful and of excellent quality! Patsy at Cheltenham produced a superb design that really reflects the 'Georgian' feel that I was looking for.Negatives: I was advised to get the wrong integrated fridge and cooker hood parts which meant a lot of sending stuff back - thanks John Lewis for your patience especially the day before delivery. Plus the cupboard that was made to fit my microwave/combination oven (that cost me £450) was made too shallow. Of course Neptune offered to buy me a replacement but the only one that would fit was a basic microwave (valued at £100). I did ask if they would make up the value with vouchers or even a discount on something but have heard nothing....so I do feel a bit disgruntled about that!

I brought the Edinburgh Undermount Open Washstand for my family bathroom and had only had it in the room for 2 months when a dark grey stain appeared. I had read the instructions on arrival and the product said the marble had been sealed so I didn’t expect this after 8 weeks. I raised it with Neptune who suggested I brought an expensive aftercare kit and that the stain ‘may fade over time’. I have a lot of marble in the house and understand the need to maintain it but did not expect that a marble top on a bathroom vanity unit would not have been sealed properly before coming to a customer. I love the unit but can’t recommend this product or the after care support.

Very disappointing experience. I am yet to to receive the big order I placed nearly a month ago! I've emailed them asking where my order is but Neptune didn't even accord me the courtesy of responding. There have been no warning or follow up about the delay or what's happened whatsoever! Appalling. Not what I expect from Neptune. Won't bother again!

I spotted a framed print in the Wimbledon shop just ten minutes before closing time. The staff were so kind and efficient. Because it was to be delivered to my home address, they said it might be up to a week to deliver. But it actually arrived - beautifully packaged two days later. Very pleased.

The soap and the hand cream are absolutely wonderful. They smell divine and make your skin really soft. I ordered one of each and they came in a massive box, which I wasn’t happy with, because it took up a tonne of space in the recycling bin. But I asssume that isn’t the normal packaging for only two items.

Love Neptune & my Hanover cordless lamp, but just disappointed that should I have bought it in a store I would have received a beautiful complimentary Bronte candle. And that is outwith my power as my nearest Neptune store is a flight away to Belfast or a 3 hour train ride to Southport

Great quality products but delivery is hit and miss and charges expensive even if spending £100 plus… should be free. Lots of products have long lead times for delivery but quality can’t be disputed… why 4 stars instead of 5.

Product of high quality but the colour did not match or resemble the photo on the web site. Also extremely disappointed in the amount of packaging the product came in. Totally unnecessary and particularly when everyone should be reducing waste. No wonder the cost of packaging was significantly higher than other companies I have used.

Would have given 5 stars but after waiting over 4 months for the delivery of our table, we preferred to live with the very small bit of damage to the edge of the reconstituted concrete table ……the delivery drivers did ask my wife to check for damage - heavy table that takes 2 people to move.

Having purchased a lot from Neptune on er the years the last 12 months has been horrific. Departments don’t talk to each other - calling in advance to ensure deliveries would happen…i have 5 failed deliveries over the last 9 months…they were amazing on customer service - now it is just horrific. Sad to see.

Absolutely love our Neptune kitchen…the designing of it was great and the finish is really premium. I cannot fault the kitchen fitters. However, the communication from York store was so poor, I didn’t know when workmen were coming to install the next stage, our key contact didn’t return calls until we had phoned about 3times to chase. They easily got confused sending us wrong parts for the cooker and charging us then having to refund it. Our key contact also said she would come when the fitters were there, she didn’t….she also said she would call out once it was implemented to take photos….the kitchen has been in 2 weeks now and I haven’t heard one word from her about this. Really shocking service given the amount of money spent. The management at York store need to look at how they support and train staff as it really is letting them down.

Bought garden furniture and it was great. Whilst delivery was delayed because of COVID it was worth waiting for.There was a problem with some but Neptune sorted it immediately without any problem.Staff both in the office and delivery men were polite and courteous and a pleasure to do business with.Would recommend.

I bought the beautiful eggshell paint to paint my interior doors and woodwork , it’s so lovely to work with , it glides on when painting and the tin seems to go on forever , definitely worth the money , delivery was super quick too , 5 ⭐️

You delivered a King size bed with the wrong sized slats on 18th August. Despite me telephoning you on the numbers you gave me (no reply) and emailing you(no reply) three times, I have yet to hear from you when you intend to deliver the replacement slats. You have even been chased up by the Winchester branch and still no response. Shoddy service!

We went to the Bury St Edmunds store. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The actual shop was amazing, lots of examples and inspirational ideas. We have used the egg shell paint to renovate furniture. We needed to add water as we painted whilst it was quite hot. We were very pleased with the results and highly recommend the paint for renovating wooden furniture.

As long as one does not have a timescale then the furniture is good. I have furnished my whole home over past eighteen months. There have been broken lights and split cushions. All have been replaced without question. I am now waiting for a Long Island sofa which is being replaced. Told delivery early September but now December !If it is not in stock do not purchase. They offer dates to get an order but cannot meet those dates. I have been getting same excuses for twelve months.Shop was excellent but Head Office a disaster.

We purchased two chairs and a bed frame. The staff at Reading were extremely helpful and the lady we dealt with was great in giving us suggestions and options. The whole transaction went smoothly and our furniture arrived five days later. The delivery guys were polite and again very helpful. Neptune is a beautiful shop and their service makes it an enjoyable experience. Thank you again Neptune.

Good quality items but quite expensive. 1* given because of a very poor customer service that in no way matches your expectations after making an expensive purchase. I made an order that is to be delivered in 4 batches across 5 months and I was charged for everything straight away rather than on delivered items.When wanted to return part of already delivered items, i submitted an online request as instructed. When still not having a return label after two days, I had to chase twice making phone calls and wait so someone can create a label for me.Now, I can see that for last 5 days the other part of my order is available online but still not despatched to me. I sent an email asking why and if would this be faster if I make a new order and cancel the existing one. No reply after sending two e mails already.I am going to cancel the entire remaining order as I do not want to deal with such a poor customer service. Shocking experience!

Neptune were due to deliver on Tuesday in a 3 hour window. Nothing arrived and no contact whatsoever. Emailed today to say short of staff but presumably those working had a telephone?? Today Wednesday and the same happened again. Rang Natalie our contact at distribution but receptionist said there was no one available to take the call. Just how bad can it get!! Sent an email late afternoon but still no reply and no idea where our table is. Totally unreliable company. Very upset and very annoyed.

We went into the Winchester store to order a care kit for our Arundel table, ended up buying 2 hurricane lanterns in the sale then said we needed a touch up pot for our Havana Lloyd Loom chairs and they very kindly gave us an eggshell and emulsion tester pot for free.
