A really interesting looking site with no left side menu for sports like you find on many other online bookmakers and sports betting websites. The main menu is across the top of the site and you have the main sports in the menu. To see other sports, all you need to do is expand the menu by clicking on the hamburger (mobile phone menu icon) in the top right corner.

Betstars site can be a little confusing at first as each page has three columns, however each column changes as you change sports. As an example if you choose football from the main menu you will have current in play bets at the top in the first column and below that popular bets. The middle column shows you all the bonus offers for that particular sport and the third column holds your bet slip, information on sports betting jackpots as well as a link to their sports news blog.

It is a very modern looking site and actually quite intuitive once you spend a few minutes getting used to the menus.

On football bets they have an acca bonus offer up to 100% or in real terms £100,000.

Live streaming

Betstars does have live streaming of horse racing events. You can watch a race live if you have placed a bet of £1 or more on it. For accumulators each unit has to be at least £1 to qualify. BetStars say that streaming may be delayed by up to 20 seconds. Live streaming events are restricted to Ireland and UK

With the Betstars site you are either going to love it or hate it. Our view is that the front screen when you enter the sportsbook is far too busy with lots of different elements that are not clearly labelled. It seems a very salesy front page.

We did like the navigation as unlike many sportsbooks which have a left side menu, Betstars has a main menu across the top. Also another element we liked was the secondary menu which contains Higlights, Promotions and Results. This makes it easy to find cetain information.

If we move away from the front page and go into a certain sport then we still have the same issue as the front page. The white and light grey colour scheme just does not work. It makes it very difficult to segregate different events.

On the plus side the site is quick to load but that is about it in terms of navigation and layout. This site definitely needs some work.

Betstars does not featurev in the top 100 bookmakers for odds offerings so to check this we looked at a range of events against other top bookmakers in UK and we found that they are in fact very competitive on favourites onn football matches whilst being shorter on the outsiders.

They also seem to have a solid offer on horse racing as well.

The market coverage is good on football with Betstars. They regularly have more than 50 markets on each game, even in matches in some of the more obscure leagues and countries.

When we did our latest review they still were offering football betting from nearly 60 countries, this is after tyhe major European leagues had finished their seasons.

When we look at the In-play interface we see abig improvement over the sportsbook interface. they still use the white and grey colour scheme but red is used to accentuate the match,event and market. This makes the user experience so much better as it is easier visually to spot a game or event.

The layout covers most of the page so you have no other interruptions here. It is just the live betting. The speed is really good and pricing is updated quickly in real time with delays in fractions of 1/100ths of a second.

Ok this is finally where Betstars hit it out of the park. they have some fabulous bonus offers including their special World Cup offer where you can potentially win a share of £100 Million.
