Website is a disgrace, listing horse races as viewable then aren’t, support is pretty poor, the mobile website is frequently unusable, the prices are rarely anywhere near as good as the larger bookmakers.Once my long term bets are settled at the end of the football season I’ll be closing the account.

I’ve lost more money than I’ve won. Then yesterday they wanted to verify my account. I sent them my passport,driving licence, payslip and pension letter. They approved the documents but they still are not giving my pending withdrawal of £300 and my £20 that’s in the account. I’ve lost just over £6000 in the last year with these lot and yet they don’t want to give my measly £320. I spoke to chat and even though I told them mentally this situation is stressing me out, they stated they could not help as my account is under review.

A complete shambles. Not a clue! You had your chance to respond on here why you hold customer’s funds for 4 or 5 weeks, frozen while you ‘verify’ them. You lost the chance. Amateurs.

Yet again updating on this disgusting company. They have now held my money (£1600) for NINETEEN days. I have had no contact whatsoever from the department allegedly dealing with verifying my account – an account I was able to use for several weeks without issue and having had all my banking details and deposit limits ok’d. The only contact is with the ‘support’ (hahahahaha good one!) department who are clearly utterly clueless as to what is going on within the business and are used to provide generic, nonsensical lies, delaying tactics and misinformation. They have no idea that they are working for a company that is very probably a Ponzi scheme, one which is likely to collapse completely at anytime. There is simply no way a legitimate operation would behave in such a manner and it is beyond evident that they have major liquidity issues, in all likelihood due to that fact they are robbing Peter to pay Paul. They need to await deposits from new customers to pay out all of us, who have had money stolen. Personally I am now taking legal advice and if the money is not back into my account within the next 24 hours the Gambling Commission, Police Scotland and the Minister for Gambling’s Office will all become involved. I’ve had enough.As a footnote, despite providing my details to the BetUk bot who replies, occasionally, to posts on here, surprise surprise, I have heard absolutely nada! Complete charlatans.

My experience with BetUK is going from bad to much worse. They have now resorted to just making constant requests for different ID documents -ALL of which I have provided before, except my personal bank statements, which they are NOT having for privacy reasons. Under Licensing Rule 17 they are not permitted to hold a customer’s funds to ransom while seeking ID information they should have retained earlier, especially if the customer no longer wants to bet with them. I have told them I just want my funds back and my account with them CLOSED. They still retain my funds, so they are clearly flouting the regulations. Please stay away from BetUk, and their other brands held by their parent company LeoVegas. They have no ethics, and believe they think they can retain your funds with impunity…

This a scammers. When I was using very small amount of they was ok. Soon as I deposited 1400 pounds they blocked my account and start asking me for bank statement and pay slip. I have send them my bank statement and send them everything they want but still they keep making excuses and not accepting my documents. I have no idea what to send them I call them hmrc and said they should accept what documents I have send them I have call my accountant is there anything that can send them to show them as a proof of my working pay He said nothing. So all I can say is this company is scammed be care full guys.

Awful. Avoid their promotions: they have one for horse racing that requires you to place £15 on one horse. However, their horses are stake restricted so it is not possible to do this! I ended up placing over the eligible amount on three races, and was told I had not met the criteria for the bonus. Like all bookies, they are happy to take your money but their offers are difficult to redeem. Customer service just fob you off.

Just a further update on BetUK. I received a message asking for my account details / email etc from them. Clearly they monitor these reviews which I guess is unsurprising given how many people are shaming their business. So I gave them what they asked for (again!!) and guess what – no response at all. Just paying lip service as usual. Over 12 days now since they stole my £1600 in my account with no access to use it to bet nor withdraw. Note that this is my money, not eve money I won from them!! My account is now closed and all I want is my money back but all I get are lies, delays and diversion. An absolute disgrace.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would have. BetUK are without question the most incompetent betting company I have ever dealt with and I have been gambling for 30 years. However if it was simply that they had useless customer service staff then it might not be so bad but I suspect, strongly now, that they are a scam operation and indeed have significant solvency issues. Reading through these one star reviews everything being said is true and anyone even considering depositing money onto this site should think again. They are completely despicable and have no regard or respect for their customers. I have £1600 stuck on the site and have not been able to bet with it nor withdraw it for over 10 days. This despite providing every single document and statement required and indeed receiving an email telling me that my account had been verified. A huge lie. I have now told them to close my account and send my money back with immediate effect, a simple request one would think. Every gambling company has safer gambling checks nowadays but only BetUK take weeks to do anything (well actually nothing) for their customers! The ‘Chat’ feature is laughably pointless as the morons answering through it have no ability to do anything of value and simply repeat that the account is under reviews and you will hear back from some mysterious department that nobody can get in touch with. The company is a complete disgrace and if you are reading this and able to get your money off the site, then I implore you to do it immediately. There are so many better sites out there, UniBet for instance respond in minutes and answer any and all queries and requests with care and attention. They can’t do enough for their customers. This lot are nothing but con artists. My strong advice is to stay as far away from them as humanly possible.

Update!Now I have received an email asking for 3 months bank statements in pdf format and 3 months wage slips! I have already provided them access to my bank account so no need for statements! Another delay tactic! I have asked to close my account and my deposit be sent back.

Just set up an account with the small deposit requested. As I tried to log in to their site a few minutes later it stated that I had used the wrong password. When I tried resetting my password they still claimed that I’m not using the correct details. I cannot access my account to close it or get my deposit back.

Update, 16 days now Betuk have held my money, everting has been sent in and approved and there are still saying my account is being verified. Live chat same response every time. It’s not even a winning bet it’s my money I deposited.

As the title says, this is the worst betting company I have ever dealt with by far. Luckily, I only had the app for a few months and in total, under a grand in and out so I never actually lost any money with them but if you try to withdraw money and the card you used is a cancelled/lost one, be prepared for proof of ownership request after request. A document that you will have to go to the bank to get and not one which is in the format they tell you it should be in. My bank, Barclays, did help me with this and managed to provide a printed document that had my old card details on, name, bank stamp and a signature from an employee, then its a case of just finding a decent customer service adviser and hope they help you out. I have screenshots on my phone whilst chatting to them of totally contradicting information, some of the advisers like to play the power trip card and love it that they can remove or keep the restrictions in place, whilst others seem to be a bit easier to deal with. I tried the nicely nice approach after being annoyed to start with after a few days of back and forth and ultimately I got what I wanted, which was my pending withdraw to be accepted and as soon as that money hit my bank account I closed the betting account. Read the other 1 star reviews and you will see this is quite a common complaint that they will request this type of unreasonable information given the fact you will have already proven who you are at the start of the process when opening the account.

AVOID! Been a customer for over a year, never had any problems until I deposited £300 12 days ago to then my account suspended until enhanced verification is complete, have provided them everything bank access/statement/card picture. Live chat waste of time get the same response Everytime saying department are still in process of verifying documents even though I’ve had an email 3 days ago saying statement and card have been approved and verified. Still nothing and withholding my money which I deposited so can’t understand how they are able to hold this? POOR POOR POOR

Bet UK responded on here to pretend they are interested the other day -I left them my contact details through the Trustpilot site, but nobody from Bet UK has been in touch with me, and my account is still frozen. It’s basically theft of funds from an offshore scamming entity. Stay away people. This could easily happen to you.

Consistently remove horse and greyhound races before they’re actually off. When you tell them they just copy and paste a lot of nonsense. They’re absolutely useless. How difficult can it be to wait until the race is actually off? If the race is 3pm and they actually run at 3.02pm you’ve had it because they disappear They are also incredibly mean when it comes to free bets bonuses.All you get is copy and paste replies

Terrible company. Currently withholding my money and refusing to payout. Requested a picture of the front and back of my card and said I wasn’t allowed to obscure any details!! Every time I try to withdraw money, it goes to ended and then pings back into my account a few hours later. Scammers. Ive been fighting to get my money for a week, they keep saying its an issue with paypal and my bank card so basically I cant have my money!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS SITE, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IN A HEARTBEAT BUT WILL NOT PAY OUT. Absolutely disgusting and needs shutting down.

Following my last post, I complied yesterday and provided the third lot of ID documents and photo verifications. Got an email saying everything was in order and ‘please enjoy the site’. Guess what -I just tried to log in and my account is STILL BLOCKED with my £1k in it. These people are beyond useless, and of of course acting unlawfully by retaining my money indefinitely without justification. Watch this space…

I don’t think anyone should bet with this company. I believe it may be a scam. They froze my account when I started winning (£1003) on the pretense that they needed to ‘verify my account’. I provided an HSBC bank reference. They still didn’t release my funds. I told them I want to close my account. They said I could not until I send them confirmation of my ID and address. I sent them a bank statement (as requested). Several days passed. Still my account remained frozen. They then said they need a credit card photo. Why??? I told them I just want my money -they have everything they asked for. They still retain my money and clearly don’t want me gambling and want to keep my money (they can earn 5% interest on these £ millions they hold on frozen accounts). Please don’t bet with them. It will cost you time and money if you are lucky enough to win with them. I still haven’t had my money. I have raised a formal complaint but they just tell me they need more ID info every time I provide what they want.

BetUK okay until I refused to submit any financial information. They accepted deposits but then put an instant block on not allowing me to place the deposit. Then treated with total disrespect and had to fight to obtain my own balance. My withdrawals were instant on this occasion it went beyond their rules. Who would deal with an organisation whose CS hide behind email/chat and you can’t speak to anyone. The practice of withholding peoples own money should be outlawed.

Criminal company!! Have spend over £500 today playing online games. From Eyes of Horus to fishing frenzy and at and average of £1 -£1.60 spins it takes on average £150-£200 to get into any features with an average payout if £6.50!! Absolutely disgusting, and pictures to prove!! Now Bet UK like all the other companies scamming punters will say they have nothing to do with payouts and everything is legit and they have random RGN on games. Well I’m telling you like most other people are , your games are scamming the punters and you don’t give a damn as long as you are profiting. Betuk stole the balance I had in my account £881. They closed my account and refused to correspond. I lost £1200 in bets before I won the £881. I am absolutely disgusted and I have stopped gambling

After making a few deposits today my account was suspended for verification without any warning, they requested access to my internet banking , really? They also held my funds until account been verified, I tried to take my money out but this was blocked by BetUK. I understand that some accounts need verification but why do you need to access my bank account? Just wondering if I ever gonna see my money back
