Beware of this bookmaker. They put every obstacle possible in front of you when you try and withdraw. Hiding behind the need to ‘verify’ your account. Asking for documents that are almost impossible to get hold of and changing their mind about which documents are required everytime you submit what they ask. At present they are refusing to pay out unless I get them proof that I used to own an old card that was registered to the account and is now cancelled. I have contacted my bank several times and they have said they can’t provide this. I informed BetUK of this, they’re reply the bank is wrong ask them again! I have asked them to suggest alternative documents I could supply they refuse. They owe me £215 and are illegally holding it.

Perhaps I’m just unlucky and a bad loser! I closed my account because I was fed up of results beyond bad luck and probability, black jack lost 9 out of 10, roulette 35% not covered yet lose 80%, 50 spins covered 32 to 31 on board about 30%, not hit 1 out of 50. These were a few examples of regular sessions over a few weeks. To be fair been on a few other sites and similar luck elsewhere. Roulette I know each spin is random but you can’t help thinking it is just fixed against you, which is nonsense, but you can’t help thinking that or unlucky Alf would fare better than me.

Opened an account yesterday First bet 200 double ( unlucky but lost) Then had a 250 win at just over evens which they accepted 109 and sent the remaining £140 to a trader to accept At this point my balance went to 0 which in anyone’s language means the other 140 was accepted however after the game it said bet refused (£140 on a high profile rugby union match)I queried why a trader refused this ( what a shithouse to do this) and had my account suspended and they refuse to close my account and pay my money (£350 in there) I’m taking litigation and reporting them to the gambling commission What sort of yellow belly corporate bellwipes won’t take £140 on a champions cup rugby bet live on tv! Then steal your money you have in the account ?Numerous messages ignored in 24 hours! Beware of this company they are frauds

I opened account August 2023. Bet UK have been brilliant accepting my bets, great responsive website , withdrawals within a few hours , always .I had recent concerning experience which hopefully I will get a response from Bet UK on through Trustpilot .All was going well until Saturday November 25th . I was aked for proof of the debit card I was using . I immiediately completed the verification request however my account was still blocked. After spending 2 hours on their chat line I was also asked for verification of my previous debit card which was unfortunately lost or stolen. I clearly could not provide this as the card was gone . Betuk insisted I contact my bank and provide them with a letter that the card had been terminated . I called HSBC twice ( another 35 minutes ) who informed me they do not provide such information .When I explained why I needed it, they informed me they have never had a previous such request and questioned the integrity of BETUK asking for this information .By this time I had truly lost the will to live . BetUK had frozen my account & HSBC refused to issue a letter .The following day I spent 2 hours ( now a total of over 4 hours) on their chat line . All I got from them ( not the agents on the chat line …….they cannot make any decisions ……everything is referred upstairs ) is that unless I send them a letter from HSBC I would be unable to use my account and unable to withdraw my balance which was over £4000. I pleaded to talk to someone but their policy is NOT to talk to customers …..bizarre . Everything goes through their chat line agents who are basically empowered to do nothing .This caused me a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety and was started to be really worried what sort of business BetUK were . Gambling is stressful enough without having to worry about the integrity of the bookmaker your playing with . I truly thought I was going to lose my money .I was totally locked out of my account …….could not view my balance ,history nothing .I called HSBC a further twice, and eventually persuaded them to issue me with a letter.The whole proccess took 3 weeks and eventually on December 15th my account was reinstated .I am 64yo, gambled most of my life with accounts with many bookmakers . I have had verification requests in the past , however other bookmakers appear far more fair in their approach , giving customers a fair amount of notice to provide the verification information .In BETUK’s case , my account was frozen immiediately, and I felt I was treated like a CRIMINAL ……..guilty until proven innocent……..just thrown to the wolves. The incident caused me an enormous amount of distress…….for 3 weeks . The point of writing this is not to complain about BETUK. They surely can do a bit better …….you do not have to treat your clients in such an awful manner. I Have only written this as there is no one I can talk to at BETUK . Hopefully I will get a response through TRUSTPILOT . Come on BETUK ……..it doesn’t need to be like this . You’re a fabulous bookmaker but somebody “upstairs” has just gone power crazy

I have deposited £1500 recently to the website and played and i luckily had chance and hit some winnings and withdrawal my winnings in total £10798.75 i got the screenshot of that contacted the chat couple of times. While i deposit it just takes second they take the money from bank account instant but after my withdrawal request my account has been blocked. I have not received any notification or update. They say we will email you but it’s already over 24 hours nobody sending email regarding my withdrawal it is very frustrating. Now is my main money and my winnings they are keeping without reason i can provide any documents they require but nobody is contacting with me also i sent an email regarding that auto reply came still nobody gives and update.

Your App is a good one , however I have had to go to the end of the world and back to get my withdrawal processed. Even after verifying my bank details I’m still going to your Chat Line to get paid. You can’t treat customers like that.

I had been using this site for multiple months with no issues. I then deposit some more money and they block my account asking for verification. i sent them all of my documents and its now been 2 weeks and still cant use my account.any time I use the live chat i get the same answer of we cannot tell you how long it will take to review. was perfectly happy to accept my money and then block me from withdrawing it. Will not be using this site again as they had multiple chances to ask me for verification before i deposited my money but decide to wait till after.

Terrible company and should be banned. Very misleading marketing in offering great odds to tempt you in, but then not accepting the bet once they have received your funds. They then make it impossible to withdraw deposit funds (via same payment method) without sending them multiple layers of documentation which they are happy to bypass when depositing funds or placing bets. Only when you want to get your funds back are you refused unless you send lots of personal details that could compromise your own personal security.

Never know a site like this, they keep putting restrictions on my account for no reason and then fob you of by saying account is under review and will be done shortly but been over 2 weeks now and still can’t give any answers, so be aware if you win big from this site they don’t like it and will put restrictions on your account.. I have found that Bet UK has a vast collection of hosted slots, instant and Sligo games to play. There are hundreds of slots and games with minimum 10p a spin for fun fluttering. Deposited £500 over a week ago. As soon as i deposited, BetUk totally restricted my account. Not allowing me to gamble or even withdraw my own money back. I’ve had to give them access to my bank, which i really didnt want to do, but it was either that or lose my £500!I’ve had no emails on this whatsover and my account still blocked. It wont allow me to do anything on my account. I’ve now, without been asked, just sent them another email with details of my passport, 2 bills and all recent payslips, again not what i wanted to do, but trying everything i can to enable me to get my own money back!! Absolutely disgraceful, holding customers money against their will for this length of time!Shambles.

Never had any issues with BetUK.Not as many offers or free bets as William Hill,but purely as a betting website ive only positives.Live racing,and good bet settling speed.Wouldnt say the website looks fantastic but it has the bare bones.Many thanks for allowing me to bet and if I occasionally win I dont feel like im going to ne shut down.

I signed up to Bet UK over a year ago but found the interface rather unreliable. It may have just been me but I often struggled to navigate the site on my tablet and place bets and largely gave up on them. A good promotion a few months back drew me back and I found the site far more responsive, quick and easy to navigate and I’ve used them more regularly since.I mainly bet on horses and football and they often have better odds than competitors. Additionally best odds guaranteed is available on some races which is important to me as some ‘big’ name bookies no longer offer this.Another good feature is the live coverage of the races which is a better quality stream than some others.Withdrawing funds has been quick and easy.

What are you actually playing at? Register with my details and send ID verification documents to then try to login and get ‘error 5090, contact support’ contact support who say they don’t know what the error is. I tell them I’m finding it concerning as you have my details and I feel a bit of a criminal to be locked out of a site for no reason while they hold my details and have a bank statement and copy of of my driving license. 24 hours later still the same thing and no reply and nobody on live chat has no idea about error 5090. Signed up with Grosvenor Casino and Virgin Bet no problem without having to send documents as they electronically verified me on sign up. This is pathetic.

Signed up through the welcome offer and managed to win just upwards of £100 – had since lost access to the card used initially to deposit, spoke to customer support who claimed they needed 10 of my 16 old card digits as well as an expiry date, all of which banks do not give out for security reasons; I am sure BetUK are aware of this and have tailor made this process to be as tricky as possible. Not impressed and still waiting for my winnings, don’t recommend!

Card verification . I have 2 cards on my account as first card I registered was lost . My account was frozen this morning as Betuk asked for verification request on my cards . Successfully carried out on current card but obviously not on the card that’s no longer in use and cancelled with the bank . Spent 2 hours on their chat line ………they have asked me to contact my bank and give them the evidence that I owned that card . So my account is now frozen .I think the chat line is run by Artificial Intelligence without ant intelligence. They have no common sense whatsoever……….they treat their clients like criminals not customers . I subsequently visited the website which instructs you to contact customer services by e mail to cancel the payment method . Maybe giving customers some notice to provide this crass information rather than just freezing accounts ? Common sense is clearly not common at Betuk

The latest rubbish from this stay well clear bookmaker. Pre Rugby World Cup I placed £20@11/5 Romania Least Tournament Points with 100% profit bonus. Any bets on this market could have been settled following the conclusion of the Group Stages 08/10/2023. This shower told me the market would be settled 3 weeks after it could have been settled on the 29/10. BET UK then sent me an e mail on the 30/10 stating they had sent £20 back to my account. I queried this on live chat and was told by the agent that my bet on Romania least Tournament points had been settled at odds of 1.00. (A non runner/stake refunded) Now have you ever heard of anything so stupid. You place a £20 bet on something where a few weeks later your money is refunded. Might as well as kept money in the bank. Now when I placed the bet Chile were not in the market for least Tournament Points. Had they been they would have been clear favourites and in their book Romania were favourites followed by Namibia. So after waiting 3 weeks the wonderful Joseph sends me a link where Tournament Points for every country were listed. Could anyone there not have produced this on 08/10. Clearly not but surprise surprise Joseph states Chile were the winners despite them not being quoted in the market. Other than Matthew twice and Sam once clueless live chat Agents and I advise any bets you place with Bet UK or those connected with Leo Vegas Group take a screenshot of the market and not just your bet. I have taken my case to IBAS and am awaiting the result. Anybody ever placed a bet at odds of 1.00 (stake refunded) waiting weeks for settlement. The money is better left in your bank. I recently switched bank accounts and contacted Bet UK to ask how I might complete the simple task of updating my card details to that of my new debit card. I imagined this would be a few easy clicks on the website, I just wasnt sure how.What has ensured has left me holding my head in my hands in despair. I was told that I would need to prove I owned the card for my old account which I had cut up and shredded about a fortnight earlier. The same card of course they have been acccepting deposits and withdrawals from me from since I opened the account. The chat person asked if I could remove it from a bin and photograph it.In the absence of said shredded card I was asked to submit a statement with a card transaction on it. Not that simple when you have paperless statements and have deleted the app from your previous bank. Dutifully I reinstalled the app and patiently waited for a new security token to arrive in the post and when it did I duly submitted the statement (redacting my direct debits and standing orders etc) showing a transaction on the card with the last 4 numbers clearly displayed and, I thought helpfully, confirmation the account is closed. I was optimistic the simple request would now be completed.Alas the Bet UK document overlord disagreed and decided to move the goalposts. A statement is after all not acceptable it is decreed – we need a letter from your old bank confirming the card you used to own and we accepted deposits from you from that you have shredded was indeed your card.After banging my head against my desk in frustration several times I built the will to live enough to contact my old bank who have explained they cannot provide such a letter over the phone and I will need to find a branch they havent closed yet to request the letter.I have proposed to Bet UK I can submit my passport, a letter confirming I have switched banks, any utility bill they like, a photo of my new debit card with my name on it… but unfortunately – and they do apparently appreciate my co-operation – that simply will not pass muster. We need a bespoke letter from the bank you no longer bank with to confirm the card you no longer own used to be yours.Im fed up and consider the whole thing a collosal waste of time and utterly unreasonable. The application of any common sense a non-starter. As such I was keen to share the experience here as a word of warning that the service level / customer experience you can expect is miserable. Ive only got a balance of about £55. Why oh why is this so difficult Bet UK?

I am a bet uk holder jackte92 and there is definitely concern of corruption going as as I placed a bet builder today one of my players never came on but the rest win but it was still a live bet! There told me voided as player never started that’s not how it works that just take off 20/23 but that’s not the worst part thay have took me off live chat. I am unable to also see my bets my settled bets it just takes me yo a safer gambling page I can’t believe what I’m seeing honestly p.s after a hour and a half live chat came back up on this page as I was just speaking to the customer service saying why is my account still locked from seeing my bets it was just like magic thay unlocked my accounts features and gave me my stake back these guys are definitely criminal

Recently joined with no fuss, thankfully unlike some betting companies no Passport or driving license needed to be sent. I placed my qualifying bet which lost, I got my free bets credited straight away, one of which won, I withdrew this amount and it was in my account within 2 hours, so far I’ve found them very straight forward and will use again.
