Betway Review

Opened an account with Betway as I was told good things about the app …. deposited around £1,300 of my own money to gamble with and managed over a couple weeks to get a return of around £2,610 so I decided to withdraw the money back to my account at which point I was asked for verification documents….. presented all the documents waited a week after receiving an email saying it would take 24 hours , so phoned myself to be apologised to for not contacting me saying they needed better pics ….. so I did that and it’s been a further 3 weeks now and I’m still none the wiser as to were my money is!

Iv phoned multiple times to be told each time to be patient! ….. Iv also been told the same via online chat ….. the last call I was told the review is now regarding a safe withdrawal? ….. it took 30 seconds to take my money but over a month to date to return it !

The stress and anxiety this as caused me is more than I have ever experienced this is a lot of money for me and I had to struggle through bills last month with out this money being held by Betway !

Throughout this whole process I have been locked out of my account and just left to stew….

I just wanted to be a normal user of their app and this as happened…… how this is acceptable I just don’t know

Avoid this site was happy to take my money when losing then I win £500 on live casino cashed out with no problems but then had my account suspended what a joke avoid there are better sites that allow you to win without suspending your account

Not very good offers. If you try to bet using these they review your account and effectively ban you. Effectively penalising people for participating in the offers they promote.

I think Betway is one of the better gambling sites for Horse Racing which is my principal betting medium.
They offer some decent bonuses and I have never had any issues withdrawing my money.
I would probably have given 5 stars apart from a slightly annoying tendancy for both the app and also the website to sometimes end my session even during a race and force me to log in again.This happens both on my android phone and tablet!
Any reasons for this and can I do anything about it?
Apart from that I would recommend Betway!

Was told to leave a review by trustpilot regarding my experience. My experience with this company was a very bad one. Considering I had a habit of gambling I banned myself from this website. However they still let me gamble on here I was very vulnerable at the time. I was self excluded from the site before I played and still was able to play. I lost my deposits made. I disputed with beltway that I shouldn't of been able to go on before hand. However they said my self exclusion was made after my deposits were made. This was, not the case I sent proof to betway when my exclusion date started but they didn't hear me out what so ever. Multimillion pound company ripping vunrable people off at there own expense. I've contacted the ukgc. Who are looking into to this. My advise don't use betway. As they say the, house always wins.

I really enjoy betting with Betway – the website is easy to navigate and markets are easy to find. There are wide choice of football markets to bet on, some of which aren't on competitor sites. I also like the regularity of promotions and offers.

avoid this casino. They are happy enough to take your money, but they absolutely hate it when you win and try to withdraw money. I have sent them loads of documents now. Copies of my id, bank statement showing deposits to there casino, picture of bank card. utility bill. And still asking for more and more obscure documents to avoid paying out. AVOID

The worst experience I have ever had with a bokmamers. Unable to withdraw funds because they can't verify my account even though I sent my drivers license, national ID card and a bank statement. All the above documents were used to open loads of accounts.

I used the free bets and won on a horse double and it appears they are trying to delay the process up until 30 days so my account gets suspended. Complete shambles. Please use one of the more trusted bookmakers like skybet or bet365 than thinking about setting up with these morons

DO NOT DEPOSIT MONEY HERE – THEY WILL BLOCK YOUR ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON AND DON'T DEPOSIT THE BALANCE.

Yesterday I created an account and deposited €60. I did 2 bets of 1 I lost and 1 I won. In the end, I had €165 on my account balance. Today I wanted to log-in and the log in portal gave me a warning that my account was suspended and had to contact support. I contacted the support (the telephone number you can find online is not working anymore and live chat is not there, so you can only sen dan email). They send me an e-mail saying: ''your account has been closed as per a management review and decision.''

I wrote them back and asked what the reason of the management is to suspend my account, so far no response back yet. My account was totally legitimate – the address and other personal info is all correct. Also, I asked them if they had to see my passport to verify my ID but that was also not the case. They just blocked my account for absolutely no reason and they would not return it, they said.

I saw multiple reviews online with the same story. Their business model for new accounts is just simply to block them if they make any money so you lost your total deposit and possible profits. I asked them if they could simply send the outstanding balance from my account back to my bank/creditcard, but of course no repsonse. This company is a pure scam, don't go here.

I did praise these not too long ago so this isn’t a sore loser moment.
I never win. That’s just gambling.
But I was told a manager would contact me today at an arranged time. I have proof of this. About a promotion query that I was told 2 completely different things about.

NO MANAGER CALLED ME.

Just had to contact betway chat to resolve a b o g issue. And must say instead of it been stressfull and a been genral pain in the a– like a lot of bookies out there. Disgusting! Only opened an account with them 10 days ago and apparently there is a restriction on my account allowing me only to bet 80p. No notice no explanation. Absolutely appalling customer service. The gambling regulator should be doing something about them.
