Betway Review

I wrote a review yesterday (See below) whereby Betway had blocked my account as I had self-excluded from Jumpman which they recently acquired. At the time, I had just under £300 in winnings. I thought it was going to be difficult in getting these winnings. After a quick visit to the chat room and an email, I can honestly say that I am very impressed with the way Betway handled this issue, winnings refunded the next day (today) and I had an excellent experience between Betway and myself in the communications aspect. Well done Betway!!

I’m having an issue when creating an account, it says an account has already been created using my information, which seems pretty odd since I’ve never used Betway before…Of course I attempted contact their customer support email (which they don’t even reply to), and also attempted to reach support through their live chat feature (they also don’t reply)…

I joined Betway yesterday (13/08/24). I made two deposits with no problem. I was fortunate to win on the slots and decided to make a withdrawal the following day. As soon as I did this, I got a message saying that my account had been blocked. I used the Chat facility to find out why. I was told that Betway had acquired Jumpman? and I was self excluded from this site, they have now blocked my account.It is really frustrating that you can join a site, make a deposit but when you win, they put obstacles in the way. Surely, if I was self-excluded from the site, I should not have been able to make a deposit. I am now waiting to see if they process my winnings, which I doubt they will, but lets see what happens.

I’ve emailed and requested support conversations with Betway various times due to a concern about identity theft. Live support is a massive mess; you need to wait ages for the agents to even accept a conversation with you. It’s either that or you have just put on a long waiting list that moves very slowly.So, if you’re any issues with Betway having issues, I wish you the best…

Deposited for the 40% match bonus 3 times. Went smooth until I deposited a 4th time. Was never credited. Waited on live chat all morning ( kept getting kicked from que after 2+ hours of waiting. Really disappointed as it ruins the flow of the experience.

It has been about a month now since I put in a request to withdraw some of my funds. Still waiting, e-mail request sent, no reply.Had a go at the chat box, what a waste of time. Had some replies to my reviews on what to do next, tried it, it doesn’t work.Obviously Betway doesn’t want to pay me out. I bet all the stars they employ to promote the site don’t have to wait to be paid. One of them even mentions on the TV ad that we are VIP’s. I don’t feel like a VIP, but more of a victim.

I did win from free spins but twice in two months I have tried to withdraw and have been told I cant withdraw to my bank card via email (although cant reply to this) … although I have already withdrawn to this method back in June…these places should be closed due to stress never had any other issues on any After trying to do what you have advised this does not work … you cannot edit card and it qont let u add another card method as there’s now no funds to withdraw … as you know there on pending … also as I already said there is one card there which is a monzo card which I’ve already successfully withdrawn 10.12 on the 8th of June this Yr… seems very odd most reviews are of similar reasons . I made a miltibet that included the Italian women’s volleyball team to make the top 3. I knew there was a good chance that they’d take the gold but wanted to play it safe so opted for top 3. Problem is that when you bet on a nationality it doesn’t showon your betslip whether it’s for the men or women. I definitely bet on the ladies because I didn’t rate the men as high as the women (no offence)When the women beat Turkey in the semis I was waiting for that selection to turn green but it didn’t and when I took it up with support staff on chat they said it would be sorted in 24h. That’s when I knew they were cheaters. Because the betslip doesn’t show men or women they could wait and see if the men won their semi final and then pretend like I bet on them instead.I saw the possible issue before the men played their semi and took it up with a betway representative (on chat) who confirmed that my bet was indeed placed on the women. But they (betway) played for time knowing the men just happen to be in the semis too and that’s how they screwed me.Betway you are a CHEATING DISHONEST company and I hope others learn from my mistake in trusting that you’re honorable

I feel suicide right now as I believe I will never ever gonna receive my wining read reviews on trustpilot this happens alot time apparently. I don’t have food at home I deposited all my money now they refused to pay my wining asking to prove bank statement and ID which I already sent as requested. I was verified before I they allow me deposit . The so wrong an a different level. Need my withdrawal ASAP I’m literally upset with myself fir putting my money here. Horrible betting company…the live support doesn’t even exist since you wait in a queue all day, and if you manage to get to them they just give you the copy and paste answers.Also taking more than a day to complete a withdraw request is absolutely ridiculous in 2024 where most companies do it instantly nowadays. I’ve requested a withdraw and 4 days now and it’s still in pending. Don’t play on this site guys!!!Edit: it doesn’t accept the banking details! All the sections turns red…please fix your app ffs

First of all I had a win, they wouldn’t let me withdrawal kept say I had to deposit first using that method (paypal) before I could withdraw, it’s the only way I made deposits. You can never, ever talk to any one tried constantly there’s no phone numbers anywhere, made another deposit (foolishly) and a message come up saying my account has been closed and I’m blocked, WHERES MY F**KING MONEY THEN, NOT BACK IN MY ACCOUNT STRAIGHT AWAY WHERE IT SHOULD BE!!. Never normally have any problems with Betway it’s normally my go to casino and betting site. Just today a bonus was suppose to be credited and it’s saying I haven’t bet and that there’s nothing available. Have wagered way over the amount to get the bonus today. Tried to go on live chat but waited over 2 hours not too sure if there is a problem with the bonus at the minute or if account may be suspended due to bigger wins & bets. I am shocked by betway and scam they are doing.I want to withdraw my money straightaway from the account. They emailed me saying oh you can withdraw your money but at the same time locked my account temporarily. How I will withdraw my money if my account is locked ?Very convinently they didnt tell me how to withdraw my money if I can not login . I tried all of their live chat , email etc nobody respond. I Really don’t understand the bad reviews on this unless it’s from disgruntled folk who have lost their money gambling silly. I joined two days ago was down £40 withdrew £100 I played again today. I’m up £360 won around 23:00 and funds are already in my bank at 00:03. Haven’t had a single issue with Betway so far only positive.

Had read positive reviews so tried this site. The games keep crashing with system errors or the latest “A general error has occurred please contact support” then the game is locked in that state. Support after long wait wants my bank statements and screen shot of playing history – why if it’s a problem with the game… eventually told they will look into it … 48 hours later game in same locked state. So what’s the point if you can’t play the games you like …

Opened the account in the 2010’s after 6 years plus of having the account they requested identification for withdrawal. I didn’t have a drivers license or passport but could provide all documentation I had. They let me to continue to deposit after declining my withdrawal due to identification. This was for a withdrawal in May 2022. I have still not received my withdrawal. The gambling commision states Where an operator delays a request to withdraw funds due to insufficient ID being verified, that operator may be in breach of a new licence condition and may find themselves subject to regulatory action as a result.

signed up for the “Bet 10 Get 10” offer yesterday, which I saw on a third-party site, but the wrong welcome bonus was applied to my account. I tried contacting Betway’s customer service through live chat and started at position 58 in the queue. After waiting for three hours, I only managed to get to position 15 before being cut off. I tried again this afternoon, but the experience was just as frustrating. The queue is always around 40-50 people, and expecting someone to wait 5-6 hours for service is unreasonable. Betway, please credit my sports welcome bonus by the close of business or close my account.

I want to express my concerns in regards to my withdrawals. I requested to withdraw my earnings on August 1st but I am yet to receive the pay to my bank account. I checked the pending withdrawal section on my account and it says my withdrawal has been processed and paid out on August 2nd yet, It is still yet to reflect on my bank account. Today is August 5th and still nothing or any sort is shown in my bank account that reflects it has been paid. The reference number for this particular withdrawal Transaction in question is 330443093.This is so frustrating as this has never happend before! UK has tons of better options, please use them.Perhaps the worst online gambling platform I have seen in my life.They will block your account for no reason & confiscate your money. Why is it that from a bank wire transfer you can instantly take my money for a deposit into my betting account, yet after you have confirmed a withdrawal I have made that has been fully processed, it still takes a few days to reflect in my bank? Around the 11th or 12th of July I tried to make a withdrawal from my winning funds. This was via my preferred method of paypal, one that I have used on several occasions to transfer money to and from my Betway account. The money I was tring to withdraw was from a win on the free spin game. (I get the feeling that Betway are unhappy that I won). But after leaving other reviews and some e-mails. I am still waiting to be paid out. But it is not just the winnings that I am waiting for, it is also a deposit that I made around the same time, that is still waiting to be returned to me or placed in my Betway account. I am not bothered which way it goes. Betway have replied to my concern with an e-mail, but when I follow the instructions that they have sent me, I don’t get anywhere, because it is asking for a deposit before I withdraw. If Betway give me my winnings and money, then I might make a deposit. But I don’t currently want to do this until everything is sorted out.

I am looking to receive my withdrawal. It has been processed for longer than 10 days. I have received an email on this matter, stating the method of withdrawal must be altered. However, I have had no issues prior to this on the withdrawal method and there seems to be an error on their side.I have been attempting to get hold of an agent in your life support team however I have been placed in queues of up to 50 each time and to no avail I have sat on the queue for hours on end and then it will get low and black out. Not sure what to think p. Initially I thought it was a great casino. Playing through Igaming Ontario and assumed it was trust worthy. However, I finally win, 900, and 24 to 72 hours to be paid. I had a question and took me covered to get on live chat. 37 in the cue? Hard to believe. Was disconnected after 45 min. Tried again, disconnected again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. On multiple occasions when I have needed to talk on live chat, I have had to wait hours on end; and I’m talking 4 hours maybe more. I am currently on live chat, started 12:27 and still ongoing at 16:12. Sometimes when your next in the queue after waiting for hours ,nobody attends the chat to help. Still waiting for my withdrawal. In my previous review I was told to wait for 1 more business day. Still till now the funds have not come in. Customer service keep on saying that it was paid on 30th july. I contacted them again they said they cannot do anything regarding this and payment team will have an investigation. And wants me to wait for few more business day. Betway was the first site which i trusted the most few years back. I Still want to believe it is the best but it has been so long and i have not received my withdrawal. Things are getting skeptical. First of all I am with you guys and bet all the time. I deposited 1000 euros in account and you said block on withdrawl as you want to verify my identity ? Like why now? I successfully verified my account with relevant documents when I opened the account and had been using the site for a few weeks. I then tried to make a withdrawal which has now been waiting to be processed for many weeks without contact from Betway to explain if there is any problem delaying the withdrawal. Today I tried to log in to find they have now locked the account for no apparent reason! Where’s my money you scammers?

After reading all the negative reviews I thought what have I done, I won £200 pounds and I will never see the cash. but betway paid out within 24 hours ,I’ve only been on the platform a short time and I think it’s very good I would recommend giving it a try.

I am really upset with betway. I reside in ontario I did a withdrawal which was approved on 29th July. Everytime i spoke with customer service they said the funds have been paid to my visa. Still i have not received the funds. I have never experience anything like this before in most cases the funds are there in 1 2 business days. I will be waiting for one more day hopefully will receive my funds or else will proceed to IGO with my issue . I will delete this review if I receive my withdrawal today.

I was playing a slot game and won £55 but then got an internal error message so reloaded the game around 10 times before it eventually finished my bonus from which I had won the £55. The money was not credited to my account and gameplay history had disappeared but luckily I took a screenshot and then attempted to get in touch with some kind of customer support which is almost impossible. I did eventually get a reply but it is now a week later and still no money in my account and still no idea what is going on. This site quite clearly doesn’t care about it’s customers and the support system set up is diabolical and not fit for purpose. Do not use this site because if you have any issues the process to try and sort it out is a nightmare and so stressful. The Gambling Commission needs to look at sites like this and force them to actually give customers, who probably spend a bit money, a customer support service that actually works because at the moment it is a complete and utter disgrace. In response to your reply I have a screenshot of my winnings of £55 that were not paid and if you think giving me a 30p refund is OK think again because I am owed a lot more. I would also like to know where you got your information from because I have had absolutely no response from Betway and will just pass this on to resolver because as I said the customer support is diabolical.
