If I could give 0 stars I would. I opened an account 4 days ago, had an email saying that my account had been verified. I deposited £10 to get the free spin bonus. My account was locked, the only support they offer is live chat which takes hours and hours. I haven’t got through to an agent for days. I can’t get to my money, I can’t use the website and I can’t get in touch with anyone. What a truly awful experience, I’d advise anyone to avoid at all costs.

There is literally no way to speak to a chat agent. I have spent hours waiting in queue only to get to position 8-5 and then the chat drops. I am concerned after reading all the other reviews about withdrawals from this site, I have never wrote a negative review for any site before but this is ridiculous. For such a well known company they use a Mickey mouse chat service. I just want contacted and given a timeframe for my withdrawal. Will not use again unless this is sorted promptly.

2+weeks and all I’ve gotten was “ we are reviewing your documents and will get back to you at soonest time” I bet there conspiring a plan to not pay me out, they sent me an email claiming they have a team working on myIssue. Lies, if they did it would have been sorted out in an instant, All they have to do is look at my id snd documents and confirm it’s me on the other end. This is honestly disgusting. I bet if I never wrote a review on trust pilot they would still be ignoring me. I only got a real response after I left a review.Which is sad when they spent more time looking at their reviews rather than actually helping their customers out on their own site. It’s a common theme when reading reviews, plenty of customers were responded to their reviews before the emails they had sent. I will continue writing reviews, until my case is fully resolved. I hope more people follow suit and write multiple reviews, 1 for each day they hold your money hostage. They’re not paying me interest for holding my money, but the revenue they will lose from my reviews will be enough interest for me.Eat that betway, you’re gonna be losing lots of money, so keep up your disgusting practice.

I deposited money into the site and they locked my account and ask me to verify which I thought was fair enough, they have not responded in 2 weeks and I have talked to many agents assuring me that I will be looked at. How can they justify taking money but not allowing me to get it back if they are not able to give me access to my account?

My partner deposited, won and withdrew. A week later still no money and account has been closed, this is after multiple messages stating that it was approved and on The way. An official complaint has been submitted. Disgusting and nobody to talk to been on hold on live chat for over 6 hours and nobody cares or acts upon the requests for information as to why.

Now been waiting weeks for any sort fix/update/indication as to why I suddenly can’t access my account which has open bets in it. Only one bit of contact I got was a generic email claiming it was being looked into, after leaving review on here.@betway.. if this is not resolved by COB tomorrow I will be logging an official complaint and then going to IBAS. An absolutely dreadful experience.

TLDR : DO NOT USE, KNOWN SCAM!!Absolutely the worst gambling site ive ever joined. Is 100% a scam. DO NOT JOIN! Will be reporting to IBAS (Independant Betting Adjudication Services). Join a trusted site like Willam Hill, Bet365, PaddyPower, Ladbrokes, Coral etc. I am a member of some 40 plus gambling sites and this one is by far the worst and the only one i have ever needed to complain about!I joined up and deposited £10 and my account was instantly locked. I then tried to speak to live support and was “position 50th in line” I waited 7 hours until i was first. Two days in a row. I was first place for over an hour. That never changed. Their live chat closed. I greatly suspect their live chat is a complete lie. That no one actually ever gets to speak to a real human agent.Their support email is dead. They literally steal your money. basically… on Betway you get to have a go on the free prize wheel every night at midnight, if you deposit £20 and spend £10 on the slots, you get to have a go on the super prize wheel. Since UK clocks have gone forward Betways system is all over the place 🤦‍♂️ you now have to wait till 1am to have a go on the free wheel. So I deposited £60 and went to slots at midnight UK time and received the pop up message that I have qualified for a super spin. I did not go to the spin section until 1am which the system thinks is 12am and a new day, resulting in me losing my spin. Avoid like the plague guys

There are a lot of better bookmakers out there. Avoid like the plague.Signed up last weekend, received an email saying I was verified, and by the time I’d made some selections for an acca for the welcome offer, my account had been locked. It took two attempts to get through to customer services initially before being told I’d need to verify my account by sending ID docs. Pretty standard, no bother, I sent the email (and have double checked email address, etc.) on Monday. It’s now Saturday and I’ve had no response. I’ve spent 15+ hours queueing for the Live Chat over the last 3 days (fortunately I had stuff to do while I waited), either getting to late at night and not being spoken to, or being disconnected for no reason. Customer service seems to be non-existent, best to just avoid them.

I will be writing a new review every few days until I get my $10,000. It’s been almost 2 weeks now with no response. I managed to get a hold of their live chat and as everyone else stated, they are completed useless. They said my account is in review and they will get back to me, that was a week ago. Today I log into betway to see if my withdrawl is still in processing and it’s in the last step. Also when I logged in, it sent me new terms and conditions to sign, which I will not be signing. I have a feeling there’s something in the new terms that will screw me over and they will not pay me out. The site just kicked me out once I hit cancel on the new terms.I will seeking legal advice if this persists for another week. It’s a shame how they make milllions and billions of dollars but cry and deploy scummy tactics to not pay out.

I received a reply from Betway via trust pilot. I explained I can’t withdraw money to the card I used to deposit funds! However they can take money from this card but can’t allow withdrawals! So they send me an email explaining how I can withdraw money from my account. The problem is that the edit card details is greyed out & you can’t update the correct card details in order to withdrawal the funds. They then refer you yet again to the live chat help which is pathetic. Over the space of 3 days I’ve wasted 21 hours waiting to speak to an agent & when you get down to a low number in the queue they disconnect you. I’ve raised a formal complaint with the UK manager & awaiting a response. This company are committing fraud. They take peoples money & don’t want to pay money/winning to winning customers. What sort of website has no phone number or email address. They are crooks & scammers. Betway UK needs to be shut down.

So many bad things about this company:1. Payout times take anywhere from 2 – 6 days, nowhere near the 1-2 hours(or instantly) of their competitors. When i queried how long the internal process takes the best answer I could get was literally “I don’t know” after waiting 60 minutes to speak to someone. Leading to point 2….2. It takes over an hour to reach an agent by chat, no matter what time of day, and there are a lot of account issues so you constantly need to contact them. They don’t seem very knowledgable at all when you do finally get through and they close the chat if you don’t reply within a couple of minutes – EVEN THOUGH YOU’VE WAITED 90+ MINUTES TO SPEAK TO THEM.3. Their weekly promotions NEVER apply automatically as they’re supposed to, and the daily ones only do it about 50% of the time. This leads back to point 2, where you need 90 minutes and some luck to even speak to somebody to get it rectified. Overall, terribly run across the board and it doesn’t appear that they care about that at all. I wouldn’t go near them.

Good sportsbook, I cashed out and it took about 3 days, everything went well with the Interac bank transfer. My main reasons for cashing out : the website wasn’t working properly with my PC browser (Chrome). It was taking a long long time for me to log in, it would just hang sometimes for at least a minute, not letting me log in … Sometimes the log in wouldn’t even work at all and I would have to go to another sportsbook to make my bet too. Frustrating. I tried installing the app on my tablet as well but it wasn’t working either, always getting and error message on my phone too … so after enduring this for a few months I decided to cash out and use another sportsbook instead. If things had gone smoothly with the website at least I wouldn’t have cashed out and I would have kept my Betway account active but I just ran out of patience after a while … still a pretty good experience with Betway despite those repetitive technical problems.

Withdrawal issues!! I’ve tried for almost 2 weeks to get my money ( $1010 CDN) out of my account but it hasn’t arrived! They said that an email was sent which I never received. Then it was a code to use for my deposit which isn’t needed as I have auto deposit. The Help Bot is totally useless as it just goes in circles without solving the issue. This site is CRIMINAL!

I’m not sure what’s going on with this site. I wrote a review on March 24th stating that the withdrawal was taking too long. They gave me instructions to load my documents. Yet the instructions they gave me could not be followed because the upload button I was supposed to press on the website wasn’t there. I emailed them back and let them know. They then asked me to submit my documents manually by email, which I did right away. After waiting an hour to talk with support, support told me that my file has been expedited because I complained on social media. It is now April 3rd. My original withdrawal date was March 9th. How long does it take to review documents? I need answers. I have bills to pay. If this is the expedited way, I would hate to see how long people would have to normally wait without going to social media. Who knows, they might be punishing me for complaining on social media. What choice do I have? Every time I click on support, I am the 72nd person in line. Have to wait at least an hour. I spent more time waiting on chat then they do reviewing documents. Withdrawal took a little under 24 hours, whilst waiting for the withdrawal I read the reviews and was quite worried however I have not encountered many issues. Withdrawal time could be faster if I had any suggestions.

I was so unfortunate to join this site and deeply regret, the most unfair gambling site ever met! So much negative to say that is not easy to find where to start…with no explanation at all they closed my account saying that was breaking under regulation 7 !!!!! The app’s edit function for cards is abysmal & non functioning, the live chat is excruciating, contradicting themselves & going in circles. Not prepared to sort their error. This is going forever to be sorted and I really had in off being taken for a ride. They have all my documents but still not paid me the two bets I won. £50 and £450. Awful awful awful. Spent 19 hours in live chat on 2 occasions to get next in queue then disconnected. Bonuses earned through bet club not given. Casino promotions not given. Also emailed over a week ago regarding a slot game taking £2 a spin when my stake was 20 to40p. I recorded all this and even sent videos to there email and still have no reply. If something goes wrong, there’s no one to talk to. Just an automated service. I put some small £3 combination forecast bets on tonight. I won one, but they only paid me for half of it. Yet they’ve taken my full stake. I’ve used them for years and I’ve spent way more than I’ve withdrawn, so for them to restrict my account suddenly and start stealing my money (albeit small amounts) is disgraceful, they’re actually just helping themselves and paying a fraction of what I was owed. Was quite happy with them, but there’s no one to chat with to help!
