Betway has taken my money and not credited my account following a deposit. It’s deposit feature froze during deposit, so I completed it twice more expecting it to be a glitch. I have done this 3 times x £25 and my account does not show any money is deposited. then I check online banking, and It has shown as pending transactions out of my debit account. I am shocked at how bad Betway are to allow this to happen.The live chat is not helpful and just robotic, i can’t speak to a real person. Secondly, it hasn’t replied to any of my Twitter DM’s or tweets about this issue.Wish I read the reviews on trust pilot first.

My experience is that after logging in and making a few deposits, it appears that one of those deposits doesnt load up and goes missing for 4/5 days then appears back in your account. This doesnt show on your betway transactions but that payment has been taken by betway from your bank account. Getting sick of it now and coming away from them. You just cannot contact these people.

Regret signing up to Betway. I deposited with them was playing a slot and they kicked me out blocked my account and requested documentation, so I sent them what they requested and I am still waiting 24 hrs later and still locked out of my account with funds in it. I contacted support and waiting over 30 mins for them to talk to me and still nothing resolved

Never fail to disappoint. One thing after another. Long term customer, going to move elsewhere. Made a deposit of £50, taken the funds from my bank and not applied it to my account. Was told it was a failed deposit and would bounce back in 24 hours. 72 hours later still not received. Customer support is useless, no one helps on live chat, get told a different story every time. Then receive a text today, apologising for the delay with my deposit. What’s going on, I thought the deposit failed and would be coming back into my bank? Utterly useless

Normally Betway has been alright but today i deposited two amounts ( one of £11 and another of £10 ) both have been taken out of my bank account yet not even in my betway account. Tried to get his sorted but the bloke on live chat was an absolute melt, i may as well have been talking to a chimp in all honesty. Sacking Betway off now they've changed their payment system as i can see others have had the same problem. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE.

I made a deposit on my Betway account and it has gone into pending in my bank account but has not shown in my Betway account. Never had a problem before but there isn’t an option to reverse it and hasn’t even shown up in my transaction history. When depositing it came up with a redirecting screen and then asked me to continue with app but was asking me to continue with a Halifax account for a deposit of £5 when I deposited £20 and I don’t bank with Halifax! So cancelled the transaction and it took me back to the home page without depositing my money but has still gone to pending in my bank. The live chat is terrible as my problem isn’t listed and it’s a bot so don’t even get the chance to explain my problem to a real human.

I made the mistake of depositing again on this ppoor excuse for a gambling site and although you have taken the money from my account it has not appeared in my Betway account. I cannot query this because it is impossible to contact anyone which just shows how much this site actually cares about it's customers which is absolutely sod all. This site is a complete and utter f@cking disgrace and really is nowhere near fit for purpose and I have no idea how this so called big company gets away with being the worst online site i have ever had the misfortune of using. Just an update from this mickey mouse site who have told me it can take up to 24 hours for a deposit to appear on my account so if you want to place a bet you have to deposit 24 hours before the event starts. How this company are still in business is a mystery but I will not be using it again and I would recommend you avoid it at all costs as it is a complete and utter joke just not in the least bit funny.

They say withdrawals take 1-2 business working days. I’m now into the 5th working day and still the money has not reached my account. They won’t supply me with a transaction ID so I can contact my bank and trace it via EPS or BACS. That’s because there is no transaction. Tomorrow I will be making a formal complaint the ombudsman and the GC about the timescales that provide. Which are complete inaccurate and untrue. BETWAY is a scam outfit, there is no two ways to determine it otherwise. Unlawful practices. I will be raising a petition to have BETWAY investigated and fines over there practices. Please look out for it tomorrow.

I've had successful withdrawals before so this isn't the issue.They claim that I spent too much time on the website, even though I spent less than $1,000. It's my time, my money, my day off... So now I have money left in the account, and they haven't called me ONCE. When I message them and complained they said that they could work through it with email and I never got the email either.I did wait a couple of months to see if they would just deposit the money back in my account but I guess that's the money down the toilet. Worse than 888 and Leo Vegas combined.

I made a deposit but it never reached my Betway account. On the Live Chat they claimed that the deposit was "unsuccessful", but in order to return the funds they need a bank statement showing the transaction. So, basically, they did receive the deposit, but have decided to seize it without actively letting me know that they've done this or indeed why they've done it, and instead of simply returning the funds they are making unreasonable demands. Not only will I not have a statement showing the transaction until a statement is generated next month, I do not feel it is appropriate for them to demand to see un-redacted bank statements. I've never before been asked by any company to see bank statements in order for them to make a refund, it's very unusual. I've informed the bank about this and they went straight ahead to raise a dispute.

Apparently, they are not practicing sportsmanship like I do when I lose. I went on holiday and came back but my emails were ignored. So sad. How are they allowed to operate this way. Asking ridiculous questions, I have been waiting for two weeks now to process the verification since they blocked my account when I withdrew, I kept emailing no response, frustrating and worries the hell out of me. That’s my money right there. Been playing this site for two years now when you lose they don’t care but if you won big then withdraw they’ll gonna make you suffer first. Stay away from this site.

Horrible site. its torture. Been trying to get my money back for almost 6 weeks now. They keep giving excuses. I have to follow up every 3/4 days. They are asking for full SIN number to get your own money back. Is that even legal? Asked for nothing when i was placing the bets. It says they provide withdrawals within 24 hours. What a joke. The whole process is designed so that the customers get tired and not ask for their money. No phone numbers. Has anyone been successful in getting their money back?Stay away.

Scam. If a match is losing them money (aka if the odds change too much) they will just cancel the entire bet making it impossible to actually make money on the site. There are many better alternatives out there. Customer support is non existent too.

Totally worst? In withdrawal system it need to complete minimum 1 week, sometime more than that. In Prize wheel option it is a scam only , nothing is here . If Priizewheel is a prior fixed item in Betway, than everything can be prior fixed in Betway, so it's a scam only.

To anybody who is reading this, do not under any circumstances join or bet with betway.Its okay to deposit but to make a withdrawal takes weeks, they are the without doubt the most reprehensible bookmaker in the market.The owner is not known, shady is not the word for this bunch of gangsters and a major investigation by authorities and the media needs to be done and stripped of there license to operate.

My withdrawal of $165 was supposedly paid on the 2nd September 2022 but has not reflected in my bank account as I'm writing this on the 14th September 2022. I've contacted the Betway live chat and they asked for my bank statement. I sent the statement some 6 days ago and I am yet to get a response from betway on what the issue could be and when I will get my money. The live chat agents always claim that their team is looking into the matter but I see no progress. Betway is really frustrating. It's time to move to another more reliable betting company.

Made 7 withdrawals on the 6th they sent 2 payments the next day and haven’t sent any of the other 5 withdrawals. Just keep telling me there was errors and I have to wait but no further contact or info, live chat is useless and say it’s being sorted, even though all 7 payments said funds released 8 days ago but have only received 2 of them. They have said it was only withdrawals on the 6th that have been affected by this internal error, and they are working now, so why is it taking so long to process mine again. Only since seeing all these reviews that have made be think this is just an excuse rather than technical errors.

I did the mistake to create an account with them. I lost some money but still had some in my account. Then they blocked my account. They asked my documents which already had sent, I send them again and again and again and again. My driving licence, my passport, a bill with my address, a picture of me. Every time the send a confirmation email that they will review my documents and come back to me in 24 hours. They never do. I email them they never answer. There is a telephone to call only to hear that the number is not working for UK customers and must chat with them. When you chat they ask for your documents!!! It is been now more than 4 months, more than 10 emails and more than 2 times I chated. The result? My account is still blocked and they keep MY money with no reason at all. And I lost money. I am guessing that if I won they would have send someone at my home to terrorise me not withdraw my money. I wonder how they allow them to operate. Someone must shut them down. There plenty of other choices out there. Prefer them.

I wish I had listened to the reviews but staff told me it was just sore losers. I initially one withdrawal so I began to trust it was ok. I had some losses, I accepted that I had lost. Betway then advised me that I was due a refund as I had used my mum's card and PayPal to make the deposits. They stated that this was their policy and to await my refund. They asked me for proof that the account was not mine. I sent statements several times, each time they had a different excuse everytime. I have now closed my account, I do not expect that they will honour the refund. Before this I enjoyed the site.

Absolutely terrible! Made a withdrawal 6 days ago and still waiting. Keep been fobbed off via customer support saying it's on its way. I only ever used Betway but will no longer use them after this. Stay well clear of this betting sites the reviews say it all!

I started using betway 2 weeks ago and everything was going well. Deposits came instantly and i was betting here and there while losing. But my luck changed one day and won quite a bit. So i withdrew my winnings and patiently waiting for the money to deposit in my account. It's been 6 days now and it's still processing. From reading all the reviews just now, it has occurred to me that betway is actually a scam and advice people from using it. I myself have switched to bet365 which is much better.
